Hi Rob, I’ve been playing for almost three months now and have been forced into making my own guild. A week or two after I started I checked some of these videos out and found them the most informative and useful ones on UA-cam, to make a long story short, whenever I recruit a player I refer them to your videos because they are the best! I tell them to watch the basics and the most common mistakes and let them go from there. Thanks for all the help these videos provide and my guild gets so much better every day because of them.
Great Vid. Item 5 was my biggest weakness. I have started focusing on crafting T7 and some T8. I have noticed I surcharge alot more often and my money is increasing faster. I followed your advice and reduced my RSS bins and added over 600 energy and this multiplies the gold earned with following #5.
I play this game specifically casually, with the occasional IAP, and my big use for Ascension shards is removing the need to craft items, to craft other items. And ESPECIALLY reducing the item rarity on the ones that specifically need that.
All these points are crucial and helped us through out the game's levelling up! Especially avoiding misuse of scrolls and shards.. 🙈 Thanks and cheers Rob ♥
Math tip: If your goal is to never small talk when above 30% of your max energy (so that your successes gain at least as much as your backfires cost) and you want to know the lowest max energy you can have to surcharge an item without ever needing to do that, all you need to do is multiply the surcharge cost by 2.7 (technically 2.702). I would consider this the bare minimum before it's advisable to work something into your normal rotation. You could probably get by with less depending on how much energy you're getting from discount and counter, which I ignored while getting 2.7. That said, the higher you go the smoother you'll be able to sell those items.
I don't know if I still have the paper where I made the equations and solved for it, but it does make sense. 30% of your max energy is the point where the value of a success and the value of a backfire equalize. Backfires cost 7%. Therefore, if you're at 30%, the highest point at which you would still want to small talk, and you succeed, you'll be at 37% energy. Multiplying a surcharge cost by 2.7 is just a quick way of finding out what the the max energy for which that cost is 37% (Cost*100/37).
The bit about the heros isn't true... if you are able to farm TS. Thieves and Musketeers are keepers as Tricksters are end game for grouping with Polonia and Conquistadors are as good as dancers but so much cheaper to reroll (if you wait to use the TS after the first 2 skills and dice for the 2nd 2 skills). Why rush a furniture upgrade? The only profit gained over not rushing it is whatever gained by that extra during the time it would have taken to unlock... That's just as silly as buying low tier legendaries for your heros.
I was a big offender of rule 5 XD! And I am using 2 t1s because our buildings are not high enough to support my t9s (lvl13 atm), but I am rolling in energy, and I love it!
Very usefull as usual! Maybe a week too late for the ascention chards. I kept all of them for whatever reason, and use them all last week on low items and precrafts... Too late for me...
I slightly disagree with the Ascension things, especially since most people will never make it long enough to matter. Ascending the early wooden chest items will remove the rare component making them extremely valuable for manipulating your energy for the first 50 or so levels. Plus, the epics and legendaries have very gast turn around times on the marketplace for gems.
im in semi endgame been playing for a year rank 400guild and i always knew i didnt have enough energy but now i realize why i have so little money compared to my peers ive got about 2400 energy and i always craft t10
Hello Rob. I always struggle with the bins with my 9 crafting slots. I have 4 t1, 2 t2 und 3 t3 out so I can rush and craft. My guild is not as far as yours, so lv12 is all I can upgrade with gold. Thanks to the market changes, making diamonds to upgrade beyond lv12 has become very difficult. Do you have any advice for my situation? Would it be smart, to maybe put out only stone, wood, steel, iron and jewels 5/5/4 in order to have more slots for racks but to still be efficient?
Good question, hard to give definitive answers without knowing more, but likely you could run 3/2/2 instead of 4/2/3 and focus on getting all your racks to lvl 12 until your guild has higher buildings. If you’re playing actively and your bins are high enough level (and your racks are good levels too) you could even try 2/1/2 and see how it feels since the higher resource cap doesn’t help when keeping resources low, just when playing inactively. Definitely don’t go to 5 bins ever unless you’re doing Kings Caprice. If you really want to maximize your potential energy you could definitely try only using 2 or 3 resources instead of all 4 items, but that’s up to you. Good luck!!
Question: if I have around 1500 energy what you’re saying is I should be crafting and selling items that I can 1 shot small talk and surcharge? So it’d be more efficient and make more money to craft T5s and surcharge those only?
I think with 1500 energy focusing around t7 is probably your sweet spot. They should be about 400 energy to surcharge so that’s less than 30% of your energy pool. You definitely don’t need to one shot, the point of struggle is people trying to surcharge items that require 50%+ of their total energy. Try to stay below 30% 👌
@@RobMauds Haha and then there's me...just got a lot of T7 Items from the LCoG Event and am trying so surcharge all of those with my 400 energy...thank you for the advice, have to do a lot of cleaning in my shop..
You mention energy being critical but if you're spending it all the time isn't having those bins to craft more important? Like sure my max energy is lower but if It never goes to cap why does it matter?
@@RobMauds Thanks for the super fast response! I do appreciate the videos- I am sitting at level 53 fumbling my way through and you have provided great clarity for me to finally get efficient.
For the crafting bine this is great when your clan is high level. But when you can't afford being in one of those clan and all the merchant are 7-8 and you don't have anything ascended, you need those crafting materials. Crafting a tier 6 sword one at a time because you don't have enough rock isn't helping. Seriously I don't know how you can have 1500 energy at T7. I have 600 at T6 and can't place more than 3 of each racks.
Hey Rob, ive watched your vids for a bit and I appreciate the content. I wanted to ask you about choosing the 4 items/types of items to ascend. Ive looked for the resource costs myself but I still cant figure out. I care more about the long term than short term and have held off on crafting tier 8 items for several months until I get my ascensions in order. Do you think you could tell me the four best items/categories for long term resource rotation?
I don’t think at this point there are any that I would consider ‘the best’. They are all fairly equal, since there aren’t really f2p best in slot items anymore . Daggers are ideal simply because they don’t require t3 resources, I like bows because a good amount of heroes can wear them so they sell quickly, otherwise it’s up to you, runestones are a good option for another item doesn’t require t3
@@RobMauds Thanks, Ill lool into bows and daggers than fill in what doesnt use those resources. I have t3 resources tho, I just never had use for them. Keep up the good work yout helping tons of people!
The last mistake is something that I never done Because if I rush I don’t need more max ress so why I need so much ress ? So that’s it more Energie more money
OK I'VE BEEN PLAYING (NOT YELLING) THIS GAME OFF & ON FOR 2 MAYBE 3 YEARS & DON'T HATE BUT LEVEL 38 DOES PRISTEIGE(?) PRIS-TEE-GE(?) DOES IT MATTER OR IS IT JUST COSMETIC
No, unfortunately not. It is all through their servers since there is an online market and real money element it wouldn’t work if people could play offline.
I dont spend gems on any heros I only spent it to speed up the quest to unlock the green square shards to get a fire gem just for him not to use it 😑a complete waste of my money I could of just waited if I would of known

Spending energy to surcharge items to double their price is the whole point of the game. The more energy, the more profit.
@@RobMauds Sure, but if you manage your energy effectively you can still surcharge the important things without needing a high cap.
Thank you for making this video these are some great tips! How do you get your resources to show along the bottom right of your screen?
It’s only on steam, you aren’t able to on mobile unfortunately. On steam there is a little up arrow in the bottom right

At 1500 energy would you say it'd be fine to do T9s when better deals is on, or still sell in market?
Ooooo better deals or other surcharge events make it much better to sell in shop, get all you can out of those events! Good call
@@RobMauds Yeah thought of it since there's one coming up this weekend

Should it invest in the packs that give me heroes and slots ?
No I wouldn’t. You get that stuff so fast in game it’s not remotely worth the money. If you wanna spend I would get a paid worker or Royal merchant
I'm level 20 with 3 room slots, I have 3 bins of wood, rocks and leaves. You think that's a bit too much?
Wayyy too much yup haha you only need 1 of each until you have like 6 expands

Racks, shelves, tables and mannequins. The goal is getting the highest energy possible! Check out the lvl 1-40 guide for detailed steps
