s vs I agree, we can look at the photo now and still fail to understand what it truly is, some might even have doubts of it’s authenticity. But he dedicated his life to understanding it, has deep knowledge of how it works and found mathematical proof of its existence that is more important than any photo. He knew that black holes existed far more than we know now even after seeing one

The scene shows the one thing Stephen imagines everyday. What we take for granted. We can pick up a pen that someone dropped a million times and its meaningless to us. but for Stephen, if only he can do it once more, he would give everything to feel that sensation again.

@@TurtleDonutStudios you're weird. It's like you have no empathy. You didn't even try to experience the emotions and difficulties they were facing. The writers say that the movie actually highlights the happy moments that the family had which motivated them in time of difficulties. If you didn't cry while watching a fictional movie that's fine. But their actual life was way worse than in the movie. The movie writers didn't want to add those scenes in the movie and wanted to give it a positive motivational vibe to it. Knowing about this would make anyone human atleast have tears in their eyes. I watched this movie three times and trust me the more I watch the movie, the more I cry during the sad scenes because I understand them better the more I watch it.

What's even more, he was a great person, and despite his condition he kept a philosophy as powerful as this up until the day he tragically passed. Rest in peace Professor Hawking, rest in peace. Because this man deserves a second chance at living after all the work he's done with physical difficulty..

This movie, along with "Ray," and "Soul Surfer," showed that while there is life there is hope. Ray Charles, Bethany Hamilton and Stephen Hawking did not let a serious handicap stop them from doing what they were meant to do. Being blind didn't stop Ray Charles from becoming a famous musician, having only one arm didn't stop Bethany Hamilton from becoming a champion surfer and having Lou Gehrig's disease didn't stop Stephen Hawking from becoming a great physicist and author. As long as they were still alive, they knew they could still fulfill their dreams.
