I haven't touched my actual drum set in 8 months, however I have a little practice pad setup where I try to keep my chops up.
There's parts I'm happy with, parts I wish I could have done differently, and parts where I straight up blew it, but this was THE FIRST AND ONLY TAKE, so hopefully that counts for something?
I hear this all the time, every day at the beginning and at the hardest point of training. It's my only drug.
This song is an Olympic event for the drummer. Great job. This is my favorite Helloween song.

@@TheUltim8Apocalypse Thank you for your answer! WINDIR played Melodic Black Folk-Viking Metal! Their music was very unusual and unlike anyone else (maybe in places there were elements of Bathory and Burzum in the black metal component) The melody and harmonics were amazing! I recommend listening to all 4 albums :Soknardalr,Arntor, 1184, Likferd! Their drummer Steigrim was wonderful! They even created a style they called Sognametal.

Their drummer is awesome, he writes really intense parts that are always interesting to listen to, but frankly his solos are lack luster.

Thanks man! I've played along to this song many times, and there's a couple things I usually like to throw in that I couldn't pull off during this recording, unfortunately (and a couple straight up mistakes, like at 2:15). But for what it is, people really seem to like it - no dislikes so far :D
