I like using tiger tail comp on mine and it burns slower but gas that fiery effect. If I make these I use some spherical TI that’s included in the plasma cutter torch and I’ve made red and green on my channel but I love your videos they are nice.

You don't coat the iron with anything like paraffin or stearic acid? Must be again because your humidity is so low and you fire the device soon after making it.

Iron filings may be obtained at no charge as waste from facilities that grind brake rotors.
You can coat inside with sodium silicat also to prevent the burning of case.
Or use a thick paper tube then just paper covering.
