Sweet fit , Engine and all looks so professional.
Just bought this kit after seeing your video. Can't believe how inexpensive it was compared to other kits. Great video. Most underated channel on UA-cam. Definitely, my favorite. Thanks for the great content and views of great weather for us guys in the north. Ha ha
Awesome. I like it.
Bringing back memories, dude. I built several Mopars back in the 70s, most notable a 69 Dart GT. Good times! Glad to see you younger guys appreciating classic Mopars.
Clean install... Very clean
sounds great.... Put the msd box in the glove box.
Already working on it.
Nice looking kit. Keep up the great and fun work!!
Nice tip at 10:23 on using the socket. Thanks!
Nice tech tip on using the drill to install fittings to hose. Seen a few videos on these hoses, first time I have seen this tip. Great info.
Mr. Jones look'n Dyno mite !👍
Looks good. Hey, check it out at 16:00 when you start the engine, it kinda looks like the alternator is moving around or the bracket is flexing maybe?
I’ll check
Beat me to it, Ron. I noticed the same. Great series, Alex. I'm enjoying it very much.
AN-10 120 degree elbow would solve your issue on the pass. side. $25 on Amazon. Probably cheaper elsewhere, but readily available. Keep up the good work 👍
Funny this should show up today. I just installed a catch can on my 65 !
Nice clean install brother 👍, I'm gonna talk my brother-in-law into putting one of these on his Ecoboost
Looking good!!!! Making some good improvements. Looking forward to what you got in store next.
Since you aren't using that heater core I suggest pulling it out and mounting your MSD there then run the wires out the old heater hose holes. If you do it right you might be able to mount it so when you open the glove box you can access the msd.
I’m going to replace the heater core and the MSD is going under the dash. 👌🏼
That is a clean engine bay.
Like the catch can kit......nice install too....🤙
Nice project. Thanks for all the content. It helps pass the time while I'm in Covid Isolation.
Nice installation, looking good.
I think you need the pcv in series with one of the lines going to the catch can. The oil then separates and is drain out through the bottom. Otherwise you have no crankcase ventilation sucking clean air through the filter into the engine back to the catch can to separate the oil vapors.
That's Kool .Im thinking about putting a turbo on my 71 duster IT has a 360 magnum with EQ heads But I'm going to see what avilable . I do like the way you did the manifolds. Keep the vedios comming. Kenny from Texas.
Looks good, nice work!
i got a 66 plymouth valiant, i’m hoping to do something like this
Great Stuff mate she sounds Sweet
Love your project. I want to do something like it except I want to make a corner turner since the world seems to be full of corners. Also using a slant six built following Uncle Tony's guidelines. Best of luck with Mr. Jones!
Mike
Same thing I see the alternator wiggling around
👍🏼
Alternator bouncing around on start up , need some more welding bracket fer the top , or future problem at the track ,,, otherwise GOOD JOB !! :-)
👍👍
Why not install the catch can between the PCV and the vacuum at the intake? Is there any advantage to doing it this way?
I thought the pcv draws clean air through the catch can filter and evacs oil fumes from engine to the catch can and oil separates into catch can. Pcv keepss fumes from building up in crankcase. The way its hooked up now it just open to atmosphere. How do you get it to circulated. Just wondering.

Is that threaded hole a nut pressed into the sheet metal? I've had one pull out when I tightened down on the side the nut was on, they were made to work from the other side. It may not be as important when using bolts from each side, but that's just my experience with pre-threaded holes in my mopar core support.
That catch can doesn’t have a vacuum port in the top to pull a vacuum in the crank case? I’ve never used one like that, it will be interesting to see how it works

Nice job! I put a catch can on my dodge last fall but was able to mount mine behind the block on firewall because I have a big block. Lots of room
Also on my MSD I mounted on a aluminum sheet along with 2 step under the dash. Have about 1/2 gap between plate and firewall. Much cooler and more tidy than in engine bay
So noob question here: The oil catch can is so that no oil spills under the car and possibly contaminates a drag strip, correct? I'm thinking back on my old sleeper where I had just a hose routed to underneath the car
Right. Catches oil from the crankcase.
Where's the suction hose at? Unless I'm wrong a catch can should have some sort of vacuum to pull the blowby out. Is there no suction because it's turbo charged?
No suction on catch cans. A vacuum pump is what you are thinking of and those are mostly on race cars.
That's not what I'm thinking of at all.
@@privatename8888can you explain or give an example? I’ve never seen a suction line on a catch can.
Are you going to try to find room to put an air filter on that turbo before you end up dusting it?
I ordered a guard for it.
Too bad it's not with a gauge, on the side of the can, wouldn't be hard to add one.
