I live in Perth, I realised how much I take for granted living in such a great place.
Fremantle is getting more and more precious as time goes by, WA is very lucky to have it

Beaches in WA are best in the morning before the seabreeze kicks in. In summer usually by mid afternoon the desert heat has made the wind howl in on the beaches, although by February-march the easterly from the desert make it windless, hot and a bit humid.
By the way, Perth is officially the sunniest city in the world and second or third windiest.
Not in winter it ain’t 🥶
Fremantle is the best part of Perth, many people th8nk its a separate town, but it's just the Port city of Perth.

I moved from England to Australia as a teenager and have lived in Perth and now Melbourne and have been to Sydney, Adelaide,Brisbane, Tasmania etc It’s great to see a travellers perspective of Australia ! Perth and Western Australia is stunning , you will notice it’s a beach town compared to Melbourne which is more cosmopolitan and city . You noticed the weather differences to! Anyway thanks for the great content

Yes , Perth is the quintessential capital of the Aussie life style. The last frontier, but Mark McGowan is that rusty tool influence, the rot., that will turn Perth the ocker Australian town into another globalist hell hole like Melbourne.
The fantastic beaches and Fremantle’s great food scene is amazing. The weather is always going to be drier and hotter than Melbourne.
We definitely love Fremantle!

as a perth citizen i can definitely say that freo.
The B & B you stayed at used to be a dingy Nightclub in the 70s and 80s where your shoes stuck to the carpet from all the spilt beer lol. Used to be called Tarantallas. It was the old German Consulate pre war.

I probably went to Tarantellas 3 times in my life and the carpet only got stickier. Glad to see they turned it into probably something better than it was designed for. By the way I was born and bred in Freo and all of that land south of the Esplanade and the fishing boat harbour is reclaimed land. When I was a kid in the early 50s
there was a sea wall on the Western side of the train tracks and can remember the waves crashing over the rocks onto Marine Parade during winter as we lived about 500 metres from the Esplanade on Marine Parade. My father and uncle caught a sick swordfish that had washed up against the rocks and took it to Cicerallos fish market where a camerman from the Daily News newspaper came and took a picture of me placing a ruler into the mouth of the fish to judge its size. I was about 5 years old . It was big Ohhh those memories !
I lived in Freo for a year back in the early 2000's I'm glad Little Creatures is still around that place has some killer food.
We've had A LOT of good food in Fremantle!

Fremantle is the main port city of WA, next to the capital Perth, and even considering that it is midweek, the streets seem to have little traffic, either vehicles or pedistrians, and the cafes, restaurants and other attractions seem to be designed to cater for a much larger cliental than was present on the day.
Yep, Freo has been dead (in decline) for awhile. Long before Covid finished off a lot of the remaining small businesses. High rents, parking fees even in the evening and Notre Dame University taking over a lot of the buildings has resulted in a once vibrant town with lots of artists, musicians and creatives, now struggling to survive (I've lived in Freo since 1993 and also lived just outside Freo in the 80s)
I sat on that seat in the park a couple of weeks ago.
It is a good place to enjoy the park that’s for sure!

G'day guys👍 yeah Freo is a cool place & thankfully it kept most of its heritage buildings etc..unlike our Perth City.
You've probably been to Rotto by now, but if by chance you haven't get yourself an ebike when you get there! ..especially with the warm weather👍

You're not going to see cash in any of these videos from Australia, so you don't need to comment on all of the videos about it... just a heads up for ya!
here is10 small tips to any US citizen that wants to come to Australia.
1. leave your attitude along with your guns at the departure lounge.
2. don't panic! it will be there waiting for you when you get back, we don't want it.
3. you cannot buy, nor carry a gun over here, this is not the wild west as it is in the USA.
4. enjoy the sites the food and the different cultures.
5. Australia has a culture, they have song, dance and food and we are proud of it.
6. The US has, Levi's jeans, McDonalds, mass shootings, guns and bombs and you are proud of it?
7. take lots of photo's, buy the occasional souvenir.
8. when you get back to the US "the home of the brave and the free," pick up your gun and your attitude, you will notice it is still there in tact as you left it.
9. Show your friends the photo's and tell them you had a nice time.
10. Oh and don't forget to tell your friends you experienced real freedom for the first time in your life not having to carry a gun!
I appreciate your concern, but your stereotypes about Americans and America are as outdated as they are inaccurate. We value cultural differences and respect the laws of the countries we visit. Perhaps it's time to update your perception and engage in constructive dialogue rather than perpetuating divisive rhetoric.

You can sat this thar ir the other, when the shit hits the fan in other countries, the first place that country looks is to America. The americans arent perfect. But id sure as hell rather have them as an ally than an enemy.

Down on that port area there next to the brewery, the restaurant that you guys were staying next too is a very well known restaurant, I can't really remember what the name is, but it was the best seafood ever, plus the view right there next to the water, It's worth the visit.
