I once made a sliding plateau for my mouse and keyboard for a desk, much simpler than this (and all I bought was a drawer set of which I used the slides) but I was so pleased with the result! You're a master carpenter, on the other hand. 👍🏻👏🏻🎉 Great to watch. I really like and admire that mastery, the way you tackle challenges. I really do. Btw, I have now spent two nights in a tiny car that I don't own. I nearly broke my back, so to speak, on the seats. 😂 Also, I was painfully cold the first night, so I did better during the next. What I learned? I love it! I definitely want vanlife. There's something about it. Not sure what it is. It's probably a combination of the peacefulness and the independence/resourcefulness. It's not at all like camping. That may be what people assume, but it's totally different. Afterthought: You may really enjoy learning about the many different ways in which you can connect pieces of wood. I remember having seen videos about old Japanese techniques here on UA-cam but I have come across different western ways too. There was a time in my life, over 20 years ago, when I was really fed up with how much time I was spending at a computer as a self-employed person and I contemplated making and fixing furniture as a new sideline. There happened to be local course offering. I decided that my apartment on the third floor was not really suitable. 😊 But it did seem interesting and fun!

You may want to add metal L-brackets under the plywood tray and secured to the slide panels . Otherwise weight of the fridge will start separating the ply layers where it’s screwed to those slide panels . 👍
❤ Wonderful job. I would just tack material curtains up for the front of your cabinets. It is inexpensive light and can easily be charged out in the future. I found thrifted pillows cases work great, but you could even purchase new and not spend much. Shower curtains are wonderful because the plastic ones don't unravel and you don't have to sew, but in extreme cold I have had one crack. Best wishes on your contend build. I love it, but what counts is that you love it. ❤😊

I'll like to give you at tip on finding where to drill your holes. Take some painters tape put it on the back side of slide then mark on tape where the holes are. Then remove tape from slide and tape to wood you will have perfect template of where to drill holes.

Those are the right slides but you can also buy those with a built-in lock mechanism so they don't slide out until you unlock them.
