i know you sick and getting better but i wanted tho take the time to thank you for this video i have a xr250r and wanted to see you rebuild it but this video helped me more .... hope you get well soon miss the videos bro
Dude i love your videos so much. Super professional, super interesting, and its so cool to be able to watch a professional mechanic take apart a motor like that. Its awesome. As far as the future goes (i'm sure you have heard this a thousand times and have thought about it yourself), another build series would super cool for the channel, like the one you did for the crf70 (which was insane btw). I think that would be awesome. but keep up the good work my dude!!!!
Always appreciate the support you've had for the channel man!! Means a lot to me. I agree, another bike build would be so much fun to do. By the end of the year I'm sure I'll be doing a build.
That video makes us appreciate all the amazing engineering that goes into designing a four stroke engine. Well done regarding the video and I admire your professionalism.
Hey hey Revive! Another great video! The one thing i love about your videos, is that you always seem to include additional material in the video compared to the title. For example, this video, I was really looking forward to seeing the view inside the 4S engine...but in the beginning, you went through your process on how you clean your parts! AMAZING value!! I am going to have to try the Mag Etching cleaner. I just used Napa Aluminum brightener for the first time and holy cow...it is really good stuff! Keep up the great work!
Really appreciate the kind comment Jon! I just hope the videos help out and people are inspired by them. Good to hear about the Napa cleaner, I'll have to pick some up.
ReVive Moto Parts no worries. You should pick some up and do a comparison video between the Mag and Napa cleaners. Maybe some other vids between other cleaners as well?
damn dude. i see what you mean by super busy. it must have taken 2+ solid days just to produce this monster of a video. high quality footage and editing my man, keep it up. a couple things are obvious: you've quickly grown a lot more confident in front of the camera, and your style of videos make it clear that you love what you do and are good at it. have you done a video on your origin story? something that talks about WHY you're doing all this and where it all came from? were you like 4 yrs old when you turned your first bolt? etc... "origin stories" are a classic marketing move. great for branding.
Thanks a million man! Love seeing awesome comments like this. It's funny you bring that up, I've been filming a video covering how I got into dirt bikes and youtube. Should be up within a week or so.
This is absolutely incredible! Such talent! Very professional! You sir know what the hell you’re doing! Is this a home business that you run? Cleaning, fixing, and rebuilding engines and such? So interesting to watch! I wish I knew that much about engines.
I am looking forward to the rebuild, great job, I am rebuilding a Yamaha XVS 650 Dragstar, my problem is, I did not strip it down, but I have done a Virago many years ago and my memory should help.
Another GR8 video! Hey, Cameron, do you have any clutch spring bolts to suit a 97 KDX200 ? How about a video on how to remove dents in a two stroke expansion chamber using basic plumbing hardware?
Thanks so much!! Sorry, don't have any clutch spring bolts for a KDX200. An online OEM parts dealer will have what you need. Would like to do a video on pipe repair since my pipe is dented but it's a pretty dangerous endeavor.
Hey... It would be excellent to do a proper... on the pipe video! Just find the right block off stops and use a pressure tire gauge connected to a compressor and a map torch.…. Just be careful not to use too much pressure on thin expansion chambers or concentrated heat in a tiny area... Keep the pipe glow to a minimum 2-inch radius as not to cause blow outs :- )
I need that pressure wash cabinet! Carbs intimidate me but you inspired me to learn how to clean them. Should i start with my crf or drz or one of my Raptors? My raptors need a serious cleaning but i think its a double Carb? or should i buy a crap one off ebay and rip it apart and put it back together just to learn?
Carbs really are pretty simple to go through. I'd start with your CRF carb. Worst case scenario you can always print out the fiche diagram and see how it goes back together.
hey! awesome vids! i just wondering if you can do an how to video on how you make the aluminium frame look like factory? Planing to strip my own bike down this winter to get it all cleaned up. Best regards Linus from sweden!
Really appreciate you watching the videos! I'd love to do a video on the frame. The process I showed in this video is pretty much the same for the frame, degrease the frame and pressure wash, then use the etching cleaner with a variety of brushes.
Great video and I hope that you might be able to give me a clue as to what happened to my 4 stroke Honda cbf125. Opened up the oil reservoir today. Strong smell of fuel. Oil level was way higher than it should have been. Does this mean fuel was leaking over the piston rings and down into the rest of the engine?
Are you going to make a 4 stroke carb adjustment vid because mine i think needs it. Can a new intake effect RPM that bad?. I do not want to compensate by adjusting the RPMs
Incredible video ! I have a question kind sir @9:19 is that the timing chain? I ask because my Ninja 250r has been sent in for a service with 27000km(16000miles)on the clock . The mechanic told me the timing chain needs a urgent replacement . Is it possible for a motorcycle to have one wear that fast for the current mileage??
All the hardware is sold in sets. For example all the bolts and nuts from the motor are sold together, and the chassis hardware are sold in a set as well.
I bought a 09 Crf 450r for a grand it needs a bottom end rebuild the crank seized but managed not to break any of the cases or anything like that I'm dreading having to put it all together as I've never had to take apart or Peice one together I suppose you could just say it'll be an expensive puzzle
HOT SHOT 1500 I swear i didnt even look at ur comment. I love watching builds no one has any good build vids. I just finish one on a yz 125 will be coming out soon
I am buying a 450r 2005 the piston has a hole in it the way he determined that is with scope he did not pull head and motor lock up and they no crackes in the cases I would like the450r that you rebuilt I think I could do the same if I take my time the price of the bike is 1200.00 the rest of the bike looks good frame /plastic /handle bars / forks / wheels -tires are ok could give some advice about the problems with the motor thanks corky and keep up the good work.
speaking of an xr250. i just got a 85 xr250 from one of my customers and its locked up... first thing i did was take the pipe off aaand... both exhaust valves cracked the head and dropped into the motor... he said he got it for 300$ running... me or him dont know what to do with it...
ReVive Moto Parts ya I rebuild lots of ktm 2 strokes and am always lookin for parts and it's painful spending a grand on new cases or even 500 on a head
There is no other way for fuel to get there right?
Your videos are so professional and you seen to know a lot about mechanics...Keep up the great work!
Much appreciated, lots more videos coming your way.
i know you sick and getting better but i wanted tho take the time to thank you for this video i have a xr250r and wanted to see you rebuild it but this video helped me more .... hope you get well soon miss the videos bro

Used mag wheel cleaner on my radiators after seeing your vid. Thanks it really worked amazingly.
That is so cool! It really is good stuff.
Honestly am impressed how you learned and remembered where each part goes
Really want to see more of the cleaning process, like how the cylinder and head went from dirt stained to mint
The head and cylinder were cleaned the exact way I cleaned the linkage. Pressure wash, soak tank, and etching cleaner.
That video makes us appreciate all the amazing engineering that goes into designing a four stroke engine.
Well done regarding the video and I admire your professionalism.
Well said, it's easy to forget how much engineering is involved with a four stroke engine! Thanks for checking out the video Kevin!

you live THE LIFE man!! nice work!
Thank You! I appreciate you watching the video man.
Love what you're doing, love the vids. How about a video of you bringing a bike back to life? Maybe a 250 two stroke....
Much thanks man! I really want to do a bike build at some point. All I do is tear down bikes nowadays haha.
Love the tear down videos keep up the awesome work👍
Thanks so much Jack!

Much appreciated Carlos!!
I like the video editing and the good efficient work!
Thanks!
Great job mate
Thank You!
Thanks for the video very informative I also learned some technique...
This video was awesome.
This is absolutely incredible! Such talent! Very professional! You sir know what the hell you’re doing! Is this a home business that you run? Cleaning, fixing, and rebuilding engines and such? So interesting to watch! I wish I knew that much about engines.
Why thank you Nico! Yes, this is a business I run. I appreciate you watching!
I am looking forward to the rebuild, great job, I am rebuilding a Yamaha XVS 650 Dragstar, my problem is, I did not strip it down, but I have done a Virago many years ago and my memory should help.
Thanks for watching! Sounds like a fun project
I'd like to know how ur pressure washing cabinet is set up/works. U should make a video on that.
There's a video a few weeks back that explains it a little more:
ua-cam.com/video/FCa5IasmiyQ/v-deo.html
Sounds like hes using an electric pressure washer in a sand blasting cabinet.
i use truckwash, comes in big jugs. also acidic works just like rim cleaner spray it on the bike let it sit and rinse off amazing!
Awesome I'll check that out. Thanks!
Another GR8 video! Hey, Cameron, do you have any clutch spring bolts to suit a 97 KDX200 ? How

Mate you very professional😍😍
Wtf man you reply to everyone your such a good UA-camr 👍🏼
It's the least I could do in return for people watching and commenting. Thanks for checking out the video man!
Your videos are soo good!👍
Much appreciated man!!
Love your vids
Thanks so much!
Do a detailed video on your cleaning equipment.
I did a video a few weeks back on the cleaning process. It's pretty simple actually, not much more to it.
ua-cam.com/video/FCa5IasmiyQ/v-deo.html
ReVive Moto Parts I watched it, but tnx on the reply.

Thanks man!! Welcome to the channel.
great video, good job!

You deserve more subs
Thanks I'd hope so!
Awesome video, the best!
Great video
Good thing to know is use a mallet for breaking allens lose!
Great video! How do you heat your soak tank?
All it uses is a pancake griddle mounted to the bottom surface of the tank. Works amazing!
I want to see everything you use for cleaning
There's not much more to it honestly. I just have the pressure cabinet, soak tank, and a sink.
ReVive Moto Parts I need to get me a soak tank
Are you going to make a 4 stroke carb adjustment vid because mine i think needs it. Can a new intake effect RPM that bad?. I do not want to compensate by adjusting the RPMs
So good
Incredible video ! I have a question kind sir @9:19 is that the timing chain? I ask because my Ninja 250r has been sent in for a service with 27000km(16000miles)on the clock . The your passion for regenereted the singol parts is incredible...great job \m/>_
Scary good!!!
Thank You!
You should sell more KTM or other European bike stuff on your website ,cause you mainly have Japanese bike parts, which I can't use on my ktm
I would really like to get into KTMs at some point.
what are you waiting for ? ktms are taking over , need to see some reviews on ktm parts as well
Wow 😱
Thanks for watching!
you look like the kid from home alone. but all grown up lol
Haha, never got that before.
How does he remember which bolts, screws, washers, etc go where? Or does he throw them out
All the hardware is sold in sets. For example all the bolts and nuts from the motor are sold together, and the chassis hardware are sold in a set as well.
Are there any other aluminium main frame available in your shop, i need one to build my dirt bike, 250 cc 4 stroke prefered...
I don't unfortunately.
OMG how do you remember what goes where...
Many years of only working on bikes has the process stuck in my head pretty well haha.
Man id do anything to have your skills.. please fix my bike.
I bought a 09 Crf 450r for a grand it needs a bottom end rebuild the crank seized but managed not to break any of the cases or anything like that I'm dreading having to put it all together as I've never had to take apart or Peice one together I suppose you could just say it'll be an expensive puzzle
Did that xr have a counter balancer??
Like to see a bike build. Step by step before and after
Moto Hellion lol it's like you read my comment on the last vid lol but yea I wanna see a build kinda like the ones on my channel go check it out 😁
HOT SHOT 1500
I swear i didnt even look at ur comment. I love watching builds no one has any good build vids. I just finish one on a yz 125 will be coming out soon
Really wanting to do a bike build soon. I'll keep you guys posted.
ReVive Moto Parts
Sweet what u thinking on building?
Not quite sure yet. Maybe a Z50 for a decoration bike to hang in the house.
As a smoker that engine looked like a nightmare to work on lol
Haha, yeah thankfully I didn't have to put it back together.
What bike have you got for for yourself now mate??.....
It's an XR250 I'm running through my business.
Subbed
Thank you so much!!
can i see your xr250 sir?
The XR250 is in a previous video of mine:
ua-cam.com/video/hA9VOpFvcuk/v-deo.html
where can i find the cleaner at 1:54 at?
2007 rmz450
Take apart a ttr125
I did do a TTR125 here: ua-cam.com/video/l_nWOEA8xY0/v-deo.html
speaking of an xr250. i just got a 85 xr250 from one of my customers and its locked up... first thing i did was take the pipe off aaand... both exhaust valves cracked the head and dropped into the motor... he said he got it for 300$ running... me or him dont know what to do with it...
Ouch, that'll be a spendy fix. Could either part it or sell as is.
Apparently your definition of incredible is a little different than most. ;)
Glad you liked the video.
I need a cylinder head jug for a 150cc Baja
There's no main frame in your website....
The frame from this XR250 was damaged, kick start mount was cracked.
nice but all i can say is:if you don"t mixing gas you aint hauling ass! peace xD
Haha true:)
Man… and I thought my rocker adjusters caps were chewed up… 8:38
You should tear down a ktm 300
I'd really like to get into KTMs at some point.
ReVive Moto Parts ya I rebuild lots of ktm 2 strokes and am always lookin for parts and it's painful spending a grand on new cases or even 500 on a head
hmm are ktm reliable engines ?
sdq sdq yup you can get like 200 hours on a 300 motor ktm 2 stroke
guess thats the problem when servicing is count by hours , here xr4 are ridden as a daily commute by mileage
I hate 4 stroke carbs, it's like trying to solve a rubix cube when u put them back together
that music dude...
Why does my dirt bike runway and not doing anything
I'd like to see anything without the "music" contained in this video. Gave me a headache...
Like
Dude explain the break down of a four stroke engine instead of fast forwarding the video
xr engines ,build like a tank ,lol
No doubt that's why they weigh half a ton haha.
whats the mileage they need a rebuilt ? and what to change for a spanking new bike ?
Hey bro cAn you tech me

Do you even make money on the parts? Because you take so much time cleaning en re grease every thing?
Nope lol
ReVive Moto Parts but is this your work? Or what do you for work then?
Great video and I hope that you might be able to give me a clue as to what happened to my 4 stroke Honda cbf125. Opened up the oil reservoir today. Strong smell of fuel.
