Another very interesting video I still can’t believe how many bunkers there was and wondering how many men it took to dig them. EE keep up the good work. Thanks again.
Great explore and thanks from us :)
I think the first mini sub was built in America during the civil war. Also the Japanese used mini subs. It must be a huge effort to serve in one. Dangerous for sure. Thank you freinds. 😊
Interesting stuff that is and thanks so much my friend for your great support :)
Another great video my friend. Love the Molch, to bad people think it is a trash can. Nice stonework on the gun pit. So, the next is deep, going down to the dwarven level. You and EE take care and be safe.
Ys a great place to see and explore. We are going deep underground next. Thanks William and greetings from us.
You get to see some awesome places. Looked like you had some nice weather on that day. I like that little sub model and that antitank gun. I collect WWII miniatures myself. I have always been interested in all the different tanks and vehicles they used back then.
Yes , such a great explore that was and we thank you for being here :)
Fantastic to see part 2 of this explore. At least the mini-sub is being preserved for people to see. The bunker ovens looked to be in great condition as well, hopefully they get looked after. Thanks for taking us along.
yest his is a very special place with all the variety there. Thanks my friend and part 3 coming soon :)
HI from Australia, I'm loving your channel it's incredible what the German's built and eagle eyes is brilliant at spotting things great asset. Thanks for your hard work. Cheers
Thank you very much!
That's it now. I am finally completely up to date. LOL. I have seen every second of every video that you have on here and it's been an amazing ride. It's been amazing to watch EE grow up and become a fine young man and fab to see BBG and yourself thrive. Congratulations to you all and thank you, as always, for everything.
WOW my friend. How incredible cool to read that and it makes us very proud. Thanks Paul and greetings from us :)
Yes, EE is full of Neverending energy. Can't help but feel his enthusiasm. Stop that HH, you are NOT a grumpy old slow dad. You have lost loads of weight and in great shape now. The Regelbau 621 was still in pretty good shape. Maybe someone will restore the bunker oven 🤞. The German mini Biber sub was rare to see, I would think. Why would someone dump their trash in it!!!! Wouldn't it be something to see the original 12 cm Belgium gun still there. Will look for P3. Stay safe. Thanks HH & EE. ❤❤
He is such a inspiration and just loving that. Thanks and greetings from us :)
Loved seeing another bunker oven!! I do hope it is saved. AND seeing that no graffiti in that bunker was great to see as well. Seeing the one mini sub restored and there is great to see!! I noticed something "grey" to the left of the sub (12:26), a torpedo??? Yup, I did enjoy this and look forward to #3. Take care
They are all over Colleen and so glad for that :) yes there were some other pieces of torpedoes and stuff laying around. More to come in part 3 and thanks for being here with us :)
So much going on with this location, the mini sub was nice to see. The gun pit was amazingly built. Can't wait to see part 3, the deep underground explores are always exciting. Thank you and EE for the tour. Hope everyone is well and stay safe out there my friend.
Yes Allen , this place is really interesting and so much to see. Thanks and more to come soon :)
Wonderful adventure again! Hi from Oregon. Have that same 7.5mm anti-tank model kit waiting for me in my room. Cool! Look forward to seeing the next one. Thanks!
Thanks my friend :)
My suspicion is that after the war the old bunker ovens would have been taken by the locals to use in their own houses/workshops rather than taken by scrappers or souvenir hunters.
Could be that actually yes. Thanks for being here :)
After watching some documentaries about WW2 submarines, they weren’t as glamorous as they were depicted in the movies. They were smelly and cramped. I can’t imagine what these mini submarines would have been like. I wonder if the sailors on the mini submarines got the same treatment as their counterparts of the larger submarines? I enjoy seeing items still in the bunkers even if they are not complete. I agree the bunker ovens need to be kept in better shape as well as the air pumps. Nice location and looking forward to part three.
Indeed they were and being inside a sub is not the best at all for your body ands soul but it builds men they say :) Thanks Anthony.
This was an amazing explore! The mini sub looks like a shark. I'd hate to be the one inside. The bunker was nice and clean and I was amazed that the filter and bunker oven were still there. That was one big gun position. I can't wait to see part 3. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
We loved it as well Julie and thanks for your great support :)
Worth waiting to see part 2, great to see that mini sub on display, and in the place it should be, it's home base. 2 bunker ovens in one place, again, nice to see but you are right, they should be looked after better before that get stolen. Thanks for taking us along. Stay safe and well my friends
yes what great features there are there and very glad for that. Hope they take better care of those ovens in the future. Thanks so much and more to come soon :)
Great to see the Bieber sub and get an idea of how they were dtawn up and down from the harbour on the tracks. The huge gun pit and the bunkers also wonderful to see. Thank you EE and HH for bringing history to us in such an interesting way. We see the WW2 action through your eyes and hard work. ❤
Loved this place and part 3 coming soon. Thanks Beverley :)
Didn’t realize how many mini subs they used. Looks like a shark! Wouldn’t be fun in a war situation. Heavy losses, I imagine. Hadn’t noticed wood graining in the concrete before. Ultra neat. Thanks for sharing.
These are so interesting to see and we loved to share that with you :)
I'm a massive WWII history buff and and want to tell you that you and & your boy are doing amazing things. Thank you so much
I’d love to see what the full inside of the sub looks like. I can’t imagine how cramped it would have been!
i have been inside one and it is solid cramped up :) Thanks.
Really liked the intro. Thank you for taking us inside the Regelbau 621 bunker. I also hope that someone will take care of the bunker oven, so that you can take your grandkids to experience a part of WW2 history. The German Midget Biber sub was in really good shape. Really pleased to see that someone has restored it and kept it up. Yes, I would think that it would be scary for the German sub operator. I would imagine that a pack of mini German Bibers would do some heavy duty damage for sure. Looking forwrd to the underwater drone explore off that coast. Thank you for the pic of a Belgium 12 cm gun. Thank you HH & EE. Looking forward to part 3. You are all set up with your highly efficient flashlights. Take care and keep smiling.💕
Very glad for that Girl. Lots of exciting stuff there and will share more soon. Keep smiling :)
i would just like to thank you for keeping the history alive ,thank you
Appreciated and greetings from us :)
Fantastic stuff guys and looking forward to part 3 stay safe.
Thanks so much and greetings from us :)
Your son is going to have great memories of his dad latter in life. That’s great
Yes we are having a great time out there for sure. Thanks.
Those many selves were really interesting. Thank you for sharing the history of them with us.
Thanks for being here :)
I love how you can see where the imprints of where the planks were when they were pouring the concrete
i know and such a great place to see. Thanks.
What is very impressive is the concrete work they did.
So true and thanks for watching.
That is great to see the Biber so well cared for, it did make me wonder if the bunker ovens are there because someone plans to do up the bunkers as a museum. Can't wait to see the ROV in action and what all it finds.
i agree and i hope they build some kind of roof or something over it to make it last. Thanks and greetings from us :)
Looking forward to seeing part 3. Also Looking forward to seeing the sub in the ocean. 😎👍❤️✌️
You and me both!
Looks like it's about the size of the Confederate submarine Hunley, which was more dangerous to the crew manning it than it was to the Union navy.
I think the British were the only ones to accomplish anything with mini subs, attacking the Tirpitz. For the Japanese at Pearl Harbor, it was a futile effort.
The history of the mini subs is very interesting and loved to share this with you :)
What a great location. Love the fact that the bunker was pretty clean, but, yes, that bunker oven needs to be somewhere else, rather than just sitting there waiting for someone to "borrow' it. So cool to see the "Biber" there, where she was operating. They were never truly successful, being very hard to handle, very, very, crudely built. Many of their pilots suffered from Carbon Monoxide poisoning, from the petrol engine, either being forced to abandon ship, or succumbing to the fumes. Surprisingly though, despite the rush to scrap everything at the end of the war, there are still around 20 "Bibers" still in existence, one has even been restored to working condition at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, at Gosport. It's a shame to see that this one, has started to be turned into a rubbish bin, by other visitors. Looking forward to seeing what amazing things you guys found underground int he next video, and, the ROV footage of the sunken Biber. Cheers to you both!
i agree some of the details there should be taken even better care of. Biber was a great feature. Thanks so much my friend and greetings from us :)
Great to see the Biber Sub,almost looks shark like with it,s sharp bow and port holes like eyes. Must have brought back memories to you HH your sub mariner days.👍
Yes in a way it did but i have sat inside one of them and it is so cramped. Thanks my friend :)
I love the imprint of the timbers in the concrete. Amazing volume of work.
Thank you! Cheers!
I was looking at same thing 👍
The sub was simple, but it was a weapon to be delt with. Japan has something like these too. They may have compared notes, don't know. Thanks for the step back into history.
Indeed it was but very dangerous thing that is. Loved it and thanks Larry :)
Live the German military machine. Top job guys
Thanks John :)
I bet it was hot and noisy in that small sub with an auto engine for propulsion! It must have seemed like a suicide mission when you climbed into one of these things! Do we know if they ever were successful in an attack? Movement in and out of the water on the rail system was smart! Huge gun position on the hill! Thanks for taking us along!
yes very cramped in there. have been inside one actually and it is so small in there. Great explore Donald and more to come :)
Very cool mini Sub ! I wonder how effective they were. great video guys !
Great explore and thanks :)
Another great video IA bunker buster girl ok because she hasn't posted anything thing in a while I hope all is well
yes all ok and she will update soon she says. She has been busy with some rock climbing certifications. Thanks.
Coolest locations again HH & EE, see you soon in part 3 😊
🇬🇧🤝🏻🇳🇴
Thanks 👍
Fantastic always good videos to see on your channel 👍🏽
Thank you 👍
That boat should be indoors, It won't last long being out in the elements like that.
I totally agree and at least under some kind of roof outside. Thanks.
Looks nice friend, sorry i havent commented in a while.
All good and thanks so much for being here :)
Probably a few drug lords would love a couple of these
Thanks for watching.
Another great location. I would never get in that sub. Crazy small.
Thanks Garry :)
👍🏻🍻
Thank you from us :)
🪖⚔
:)
cool little sub looks like it can still be used
IT is a very interesting feature there at the location and EE loved to see that. I had the same thought , some work and it could dive again. More to come :)
EE with "Was ist Das?" - he's learning Deutsch too. Excellent!
Yes he actually does learn German now as well :)
Hi HH & EE,
A wonderful follow-up to part 1 of the visit to the midget submarine base.
Still impressive to see the mini sub.
Thank you for sharing the history.
Many thanks!
Once again thank you !!
Thanks again!
You are not old or grumpy 😅
Thanks for that :)
Very interesting piece of equipment. Glad they preserved it. Looking forward to part 2.
We agree and loved that. Part 3 coming soon :)
Hmmm, youtube must not like your vids. They took you off my All list and I haven't been getting any notifications as of late. Great stuff, keep up the searching and showing
Well there you go. Thanks and greetings from us :)
Great explore guys! How many people could fit inside the biber? Were these actually in use during WW2 or just for training?
They were in use actually. Thanks for watching.
Wow, its amazing to see bunker ovens still in place! Hopefully they make sure they stay there. Fascinating little sub. I can't even imagine how tight it must have been inside there.Thank you for sharing this with us.
Great place and so many exciting things there. Thanks James :)
Part 2 is just as great as part 1. Can't believe they had another bunker oven there. They need to preserve those. The mini-sub was fantastic. They do need to do some weeding around it though. Thanks for showing us the inside as best as you could!
Agree , they should have made some kind of roof over it or something if you ask me. Great place and thanks for your incredible support :)
Cool sub !!!
Thanks my friend :)
👋😃👍
Appreciated my friend :)
Excellent
Thanks my friend :)
Very interesting, I never knew the Germans had Minisubs thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Very interesting. Cool to see. Thanks for sharing
Thomas Williams
Thank from us Thomas :)
🎉
Appreciated :)
Hi
Hello to you and so glad you are here with us :)
That was very interesting are those little subs is it just one man or two I would hate to be trapped in one of those. I take it is battery powered
combustion engine for surface running and electric for underwater activity :) Thanks.
Danka Schoen
Thanks for being here :)
Another interesting video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
I do have a question have you been to any destinations that dealt with the Germans s boats?
yes we have. Thanks for watching.
@@WW2HistoryHunter awesome gonna have to find that one . Just watched a show on the history channel talking about the s boats was interesting not of history I didn't know
another cool video. ty HH and EE
Thanks John :)
👍🏻➕
Thanks.
Awsome. The bieber submarine is super. In my town is also a bieber submarine and when i was a child i climbed in it because it was on the navy harbor. Now it’s fully restored and placed in a big glass container on the boulevard. I have a completely leather outfit including the kopfhaube and life vest from ww2.
These guys were really the biggest heroes 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the video.
Good to read and thank you for being here with us :)
@@WW2HistoryHunter thank you.
