I would love to have had a father like you! The time and devotion you are giving to Eagle Eyes, your son, will pay off so much in raising him to be a good person and someone who loves and preserves history!! Glad your feeling better Eagle Eyes!! Keep searching for new discoveries. Never give up!
It never ceases to amaze me of the historical locations and content you and your family bring to the world. Thank you for sharing WWII history with us and as always " Good Hunting "
When we do forestry work in Sweden it is wery important not to hurt or damage traces from the past. We have to mark evrything with stumps cut one meter and 30 centimeter above the ground and let them stand around the object. Called "Kulturlämning" or if it is wery old "Fornlämning". Happy Eastern and a good job to find those traces in that forest.
WOW WOW WOWZA 😲😲👍🏻👍🏻 Awesome work EE for finding this special location, both with the background & then the physical finding those concrete bases. Without the photos I would never have guessed what they where, maybe you need to educate the forest workers too? See you soon, take care & keep having fun! 🇬🇧🤝🇳🇴
HI from Australia, I'm sorry UA-cam are messing with your channel it doesn't make sense all the restrictions they put on creatures, I think UA-cam will suffer in the end. I love your channel and the education it brings everybody to remember what happened in WW11. Lest we forget.
Was happy to see that the forestery crew didn’t remove the mounts and support poles for the Heinrich and Hans direction finders. Thanks so much for doing all the research and footwork so that we may learn genuine WW2 history. So much more to see there. ❤❤
My goodness, you two really had to navigate some difficult terrain for this explore! The forest is being harvested which makes it tough to find anything! And then, EE found some concrete!!! His powers of discovery are evident once again!! Just amazing that they did not sink into the soil! Great job touching history and sharing the knowledge with us!!
Hi HH & EE, Hans Turne and Heinrich tower direction finder, are one of the first Doppler direction finders. Great that EE discovered the foundation of the Hans Turne direction finder. And then also the foundation of the Heinrich tower, indeed you were able to touch the history.
Thank you to the loggers who made your quest a little easier. Germany developed an amazing amount of science for the war and it is also amazing how much of it is a necessity for our daily lives now. When I see this vlog, you are already into Easter Morning. Hope you, EE, and BBG have a great holiday.
Oh man, this is the one I've been waiting for!!! Like I mentioned in a previous correspondence from 1987 to 2008 I was a sigint analyst in the U.S. Army. This is the sort of stuff I did during my career. So glad you found those foundations for where the DF structures were and finding those cables is epic! Watched this one twice! Thanks so much for sharing with us and glad eagle Eyes found those pictures that started this whole process, good work!
Interesting my friend and i agree it is exciting to even find such locations today as they are very rare. EE did such good work with research and finding those out there. Thanks so much and Happy Easter from us :)
What a very smart young man Eagle Eyes is. Anyone can find a picture of history but to research it and then actually go out and find it is something special. I could never find these locations unless I had the knowledge and experience you both share. If these had been made out of steel instead of wood, I wonder how much of them would be there today?
I wonder if the allies even knew this existed. Fascinating discovery you guys. Nobody has the results you do. I'll always admire your work and dedication. Thank you n happy Easter .🐰
Some of these locations were not known by the allies before the very end of the war actually. Thanks so much and Happy Easter to you from us my friend )
History is important because without it how do we learn, way back in the early 70s I lived in Bavaria where my grandparents grew up and I enjoyed learning from the elderly who survived the war.
Well done EE on finding these towers, I had never heard of eother of these systems until today, thank you. In a forest that big, you managed to find the sites of both of these, well done. Looking forward to the next video, to see what is left of the camp site. Well done once again EE. Stay safe and well my friends
Another great location and explore. Can't hide anything from EE, he will always find the impossible. Thank you so much for sharing this information and can't wait for part 2. Have a Happy Easter my friends.
Yes EE was on fire in the forest and so glad he can spot all that in there. Loved the place and more to come later Allen. Happy Easter from us and keep smiling :)
Great video HH. Great research EE, outstanding find. The Heinrich base points are even more massive than can be seen. Those are pyramid-shaped, so the bottom is 3-4m square 3+m in depth. I used to install radio towers in my youth. That you found these points is outstanding. Yes, it is a power cable. This was a great find and video my friends, well done. Stay safe and well.
yes that is most likely so. Such a exciting place and to find those still there made our day for sure. Power cable it is we think yes. Thanks so much and Happy Easter :)
Am writing this as I watch. To me it would seem very easy to get lost and disoriented in that forest. Truly enjoy your adventures and what better quality time could you hope for to have with your son….well done. You found it. Very exciting. Thanks again. Happy Easter
Wow, what great detective work! Eagle Eyes is becoming quite the young history hunter! Good work, young man! Another fascinating location and story behind it!!❤ Thanks for sharing, and happy Easter to you!
EE how in the world do you do it!!! Finding those footings for the "Hans" tower wow way to go. That was a really neat explore thank you for taking us along.
Very interesting video, I had not heard of these particular types of towers before, thanks for sharing. Cable looks to be more of a power cable rather than signal, usually signal cables don't require spreading apart as much as the one you showed.
Great location guy's , it's a shame that no one at the time thought of preserving these location's for history, the thought was need of materials and prevent anyone from getting the equipment and knowledge .thank you for bringing this to us and thank EE for his research what a young man.
Such an interesting place. To think the Germans gad direction finders in such a remote area is amazing. Thank you both for doing all this work just to share history with us. Happy Easter. 💖💯
What a fascinating video .I tried looking up the history behind these 2 towers but could not find the info at all .What was the locations of these towers ?? Keep these extremely interesting video coming. Thank you for sharing.
Enjoyed the intro. Of course, you found the Hans Turne foundation for mount and support poles. Also, the metal pedestals, electronic cables, and power supply for the Heinrich Tower direction finder. EE is very strong. He has no problem moving heavy rocks. Did you take the rod hoe with you that you found, EE? Thank you. Looking forward to part 2. 💕
This is a fantastic piece of research by the both of you. Not only does EE have the sharpest eyes for historic details, but he's also clearly descended from Sherlock Holmes 😆. Again you've educated me on a type of installation that I've never heard of. Of course I'm familiar with the range finder gear, but not those towers, so a massive thanks for this. I'm very much intrigued by the cables you found, as they once carried orders and directions for guns and planes, so it's almost living history. Simply, wow! You have to consider that those cables originated somewhere, and I hope we find the origins next week. It would be interesting to follow the cables to see where they go, perhaps using a metal detector. All the best, and safe travels!
Absolutely fantastic work finding that site! Kudo's to EE for using his superpower to find those "Hans" pedestals! That would not have been easy in that forest, especially if it hadn't been cut down. I suspect the names "Heinrich" and "Hans" are for Heinrich Hertz, who proved the existence of electromagnetic waves in the late 1800's, which of course led to the development of radar, and Hans Hollman, who made a lot of breakthroughs in German radar technology, and it's use of microwaves. Incidently, after the war Hollman went to work for NASA in California, where he continued his work. But I must say, finding those pedestals, was a truly unique find. It's highly unlikely many know they even exist, and even then, probably not what they were for. Just an awesome look back into a forgotten slice of History. Looking forward to seeing what else that amazing place has to offer in the next video! Cheers to you both! Stay safe!
Awesome discovery and I’m happy you were able to find these fascinating locations and share them with us and I hope there is more to come. I have a question about the names of the towers, do you know if there is a purpose behind naming the tower types Hans and Heinrich?
These are incredible finds, with so much history. 🐝There is one radio station site that relates to WW1 called Nauen and it had a massive array of antennas and a main building that 🐞had all the radio equipment and communication center. It could send and recieve signals with ships at sea and far off German colonies🪲 like Namibia, Togo, Tangayika, Tsingtao and Samoa in the Pacific. The site is somewhere along the Baltic coast. 🦋
Thanks for the video HH and EE,this place would sure of being very special to the Germans.Great to see parts of the base still there well done EE!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧🇺🇦
What a great explore!!! Well done on the research and finding both of those sites!!!! AMAZING guys...Good work EE!!! Wonder what else lies about there????
These radio stations would be run for the Luftwaffe to detect enemy aircraft,🌸 but I am guessing they could also listen in to any army signals as well. They would be sef contained with their own electric generators on the ground a little way off and the crew sleeping quaters and mess as well. They would have been equiped with an ENIGMA coding transmitter/reciever 🌻and if they were near a military base or HQ they would have run a telephone line there.🌹
My friend , that is very kind of you and so greatly appreciated. Will for sure come in very handy in upcoming explores that we will share with you. WE hope you are having a great and Happy Easter and keep smiling my friend :)
I would love to have had a father like you! The time and devotion you are giving to Eagle Eyes, your son, will pay off so much in raising him to be a good person and someone who loves and preserves history!! Glad your feeling better Eagle Eyes!! Keep searching for new discoveries. Never give up!
Wow, thank you for the kind words and spending tie together is so precious and we love that. Thanks and Happy Easter from us :)
Great job, Eagle Eyes, for spotting the concrete footing for both of the towers.
Indeed and EE says hello here my friend :)

Once again EE,s built in radar discovers a brilliant location. Great to learn about these Direction Finders, looking forward to next episode.👍
More to come my friend and so appreciate your kind support :)
That cable is wrapped with jute oil paper. 2 great finds. EE has great eyes. He's like a blood hound finding things.
Thanks Joe :)
He is fantastic boy!

Great explore Dave and have a great Easter my friend :)
WOW WOW WOWZA 😲😲👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome work EE for finding this special location, both with the background & then the physical finding those concrete bases.
Without the photos I would never have guessed what they where, maybe you need to educate the forest workers too?
See you soon, take care & keep having fun!

Thanks again Glenn and it is a great place to explore. Thanks from us.
Always an outstanding video and presentation.
Thanks so much my friend :)

Cool stuff in the woods !!!
Loved it and thanks :)
Another amazing video you and EE continue to impress. Do you sell some of the artifacts that you find? Thanks again.
We do give them away to our supporters. Thanks for watching.
Awesome discovery and I’m happy you were able to find these fascinating locations and share them with us and I hope there is more to come. I have a question about the names of the towers, do you know if there is a purpose behind naming the tower types Hans and Heinrich?

Great job guys, how about searching for German tanks/armory. Thanks.
Well you never know what is coming in the future. Thanks.
Just had a look at your tab (about) Forget the question about the locations ,sorry .
Thanks for watching.
So much was destroyed, yet today would be more to attract tourist and allow people to see in person.
Great explore and thanks.
Well spotted again EE
We appreciate that my friend and we send a Happy Easter greeting from us :)
