KEEPING AGGRESSIVE MONSTER FISH IS NOT EASY! (FISH ATTACKS!) ua-cam.com/video/mr7Y-ryTjnU/v-deo.html
Hey Matt love your channel I have a 20 inch maybe 25 Redtail Catfish I been looking to rehome him if you can find a way to get mine I’ll be happy to give him to you maybe free
No it’s not My lungfish ate a lot of my fish
Love the catfish
The fish look amazing 😁 beautiful rays. The oscar has heeled so well . So glad things are getting back to normal for you Matt 💜💙💜💙
Hey hello friend
Great growth
Redtail catfish are too beautiful
Holy crap. That redtail is a BEAST. Can't believe it's only been a month. Unreal bro.
I know bro, just wait till next month with it being in the pond 😯
Things are looking up!
awesome video!! Really amazing to see the red tails growth rate. One of my dream fish. Ive only ever seen a few times in real life. This is as close to owning one as I will likely ever get. Billy Bad ass defo needs some tiger barbs to chase etc. or he will remain a pain in your arse.
Super cool that the rays spawned.
Hey Matt I just wanted to say u do a great job I really enjoy your videos and can not wait to see the big tank up and running and all the help and support u give big rich and Josh over at ohio fish rescue a true friend keep it fishy guys
Thanks Ruthy!
Good video!
Good Video Matt. Does the red on the tail get darker as they grow older?
Love the video Matt love the red tail catfish in all your other fish the Oscar looks like he's coming along how big is that pond I do not remember the one I have is a 675 gallon I did a rescue down here where I'm at on 2 iridescent and 5 bala sharksthe people bottom and two weeks later didn't realize how big they got so now I have them
Your tigerfish looks like it has really put on some size.
Yeah he's been on a huge growth spurt lately, I'd say he's coming up on 16"
11 inches for RTC but THICC. Oscar looks so much better but still sizing up the Gourami. Keep it up my dude.
Love your work MMF 🔥
Is it possible to do a size comparison on Brutus.?
Yeah I can, he's at the OFR and that would be a fun video!
If you put a polarizer on your lens it will cut out all (or most) of the glare on the water, and usually glass too.
I just got me a redtail about 3 weeks ago. But I do have a pool i got for him. Just waiting to get warmer weather. I'm from Maryland.
Good to see ya this week...love those redtails....but I would NEVER buy one either...cant wait to see him in a month or so...
Hi Matt, do these fish survive on tap water? So far I use the chlorine remover on my tap water, should my RTC be okay? any tips please
What's a newborn retail look like, how small are they?
Mine Grew about 8in two months I fed him shrimp tilapia cod
Great video, nice fish, you should cut the tilapia smaller for Ray's,
I was trying to get the catfish to take down the bigger pieces but those baby rays are beasts 🤣 they normally get very small pieces I cut them to make sure they fit in their mouth.
Hey Matt do you run a de humidifier
how do you heat your pond
#teamtracy
Are you from texas?
i had a similar thing happen with my heater but the difference with mine overheated and warm the water in the fish tank to the point it was close to being hard to put my hand in and it end up killing my black ghost knife fish and one of my bristlenose pleco
I'm sorry to hear that, this hobby definitely has its ups and downs 😪
Just watched an older vid and as soon as I finished it I was like damn this guys a beast and smashed the sub button like y’all should do too
Thank you for the support ❤
I like your videos but you dont make sense when you advertise and centerpiece a Redtail catfish but then tell people not to buy them. I know you said that you only have one so you can document it's growth. Wink wink. Be honest, you have one for the fact that it is a cool fish. Your subscribers are not naive. Honesty is the best policy don't BS your audience
@@crazypufferfish7780 nah man watch the video, got this for the OFR as a reacue for them as it was right down the road. Grow him out and take him to his forever home. So don't call someone out with some bullshit honesty card. I'm as real as they get and practice what I preach. Have a nice day!
@@crazypufferfish7780 watch at 16:15 👍🏻
ok no problem MOSTERFish Matt.
I have been keeping piranha for about six years. I have to tanks,
Love from India
Ahemmmm! You didn't say Peeeaaace ! 🤔 Haha. Good video though
Haha I'll add in peace at the end of next video for you 😁✌🏻
What kind of air pump do you use
Alita 80
Ty love ur Chanel Damn those are hella expensive mine was only 50 rated for 1000 gallons But you got the big boy
He pro my thought those stingrays where the same from the 125lol
Dude last video was all bad luck. This video was all good things. Proving for every reaction there is an equal but opposite reaction
Insane of i get ever a red tail i gonna make every day a photo of him and post it on UA-cam so that people can see how fast they grow
Id be worried about him going after the baby stingrays when she has them
I guessed about 8-10” so yeah lol
this is why redtails and not for beginner, they grow so fast
like fish
I say 10 & 1/2” I’m guessing at the 10:54 time mark. Oh! Watch the pregnant stingray really close around her due date, because of the heater malfunction she’s susceptible to giving birth to stillborn pups. Hopefully she didn’t get stressed enough to cause any development issues! I’m keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 for you!
That thought went across my mind too 🤞🏻but I still see movement!
Have u stopped making videos
What kind of giga was that she/he looks unique
sorry for being late
What are you feeding your fish
You were on of the first to comment 👊🏻
you rtc is getting gill curl ??
Yeah man he had this when I rescued him, you just couldn't tell as much when he was small, as he grows you'll notice it more. He was in a 10 gallon aquarium and who knows what kind of water quality 😪 but the good thing now he's in great hands.
@@mattsmonsterfish1615 I rehomed a 12" one with gill curl , he seems to have got better in my pool any ideas what causes it or just poor water ?
There's 2 reasons this can happen, 1 is bad water quality and 2 is being in a small aquarium.
What about the 1000 gallon? You have it almost a year now and it still is't filled.
I know right lol I really dragged my feet on this project, but I got the motivation again and its full of water now and cycling for all my fish 😃
He’s going to be about 9inches if he was 5 last month
They usually grow an inch a week with good water quality and proper feeding
He's 13.5" now
@@mattsmonsterfish1615 I’ve had mine going on three months, he was literally an inch when I got him, he’s 10inches now
15 inches for the red tail
Why no new videos
13 inches for the red tail catfish
10 or 11 Inches for red tail cat
10inch. Rtc
What happened to the pup ?
I still have him and he's doing great!
@@mattsmonsterfish1615 Update video would be good to see what the pattern turned out like.
But I bought one 🙃 and I have em in a 300 then he can go in the 5k pond cause I want one inside
I have been keeping parana for about six years. I have two different tanks, a 75 gallon with Four Piranha and 180 gallon with eight piranha. I have painted the sides and back of the tank black and also I have put red strips of duct tape on the plexiglass under the light. I have driftwood and plenty of big plants in them both. I saw your video of your parana that was attacked and its tail have been eaten off and it did not surprise me at all because you have a bright light and absolutely no places to hide and stay away from One another. Being a good fish keeper is not always about having them in a tank with absolutely no plants or decorations. I enjoy watching you and several others channel I believe you were a big part of why that parana was attacked. I am also not a fan of keeping fish in a baby pool or as you guys call it a pond

I am set up for red tail I've looked for 6 years cannot get my hands on a baby a teenager I did get my hands on one baby red tail probably a month old he died within 12 hours of being acclimated had the water tested everything he was in with five other catfish talking catfish stingray he just didn't make it part of me thinks it had to do with too many acclamations and one day because the owner of the pet store told me that he had only had him a few hours before I picked him up and acclimated him to my sister I think it was just too much on the little guy going from his bag and box from wherever he came from to the pet store and then to me and one day I'm pretty sure that's what killed my red tail
Where's new updates??
Coming soon
Uhhhh 11 inches is my guess
My baby titus was about 2 1/2 inches long when i bought him and i have had him for a month and he is right now about 5 1/2 inches. He is in a 75 right now because i have a few bullheads in my 125 and im afraid they would try to eat him so he will be in the 75 until hes about 9 or 10 inches or so. I also could not disagree more on the statement that they should not be in the hobby i think the hobby(chain petstores) should stop seeing dollar signs and see a life and a heartbeat. I believe all people deserve the right to keep the fish they want but i also believe you should be required to show proof that you can house them and take a test to own one. There are a lot of very responsible fish keepers in this hobby that it is not fair too to remove a fish because of a few no brains. The red is not a hard fish to keep you just have to have a lot of square footage to house them, if you have the space and the will you can own a redtail no problem. You have to take a test to drive a vehicle, get checked to buy a gun, and if you get pulled over you have to show proof of license and insursnce, you should have to show a setup that can house the redtail long term from grow out tanks up to a full size pool pond for the fish. Its simple, take a selfie with your pond so ita not some google image and walahh you can buy a redtail, it seems sorta dumb but there are too many fish keepers that are absolutely fascinated by the beautiful gentle giant redtail catfish at which i am most certainly one of. Dont remove them from the hobby just enforce some freakin rules.
