One more thing guys.... In no way am I saying that this is THE golf ball. My point in testing this golf ball was to see if it would benefit those of us who struggle with big curves one way or the other, and could use some help keeping it more controlled. My assessment at the end of it is; You get a great price on a durable, well performing, straighter flying golf ball, without the feeling of hitting a rock or sacrificing anything else.
I’m curious if you are using the Jim Venetos swing while testing this ball. If so, his swing promotes a draw if done right. Did this ball reduce the draw?
I'm not following the exact method anymore, and haven't been for months. That said, I still have some of the elements in place, and I've always hit a draw for over 20 years. It's a good question, but I don't know the answer. Maybe if someone who does use the method tries with these balls, they can post results in the comments.
Golf Test Dummy Why did you stop the JV swing? I’ve tried it on the course and have found it difficult to get any distance. I can consistently hit it straight but not as far as I would like or need.
@@raymondsmith584 I get that question daily. I've answered it in a couple of vids, and also in a community post on UA-cam. Here's the post text... So many of you have asked about my swing, and I wanted to try and post this to answer that. This channel is about exploring a lot of different approaches to the game and the swing, so I don't spend too much time in one spot. It is my hope that through my experimentation, that each of you will be able to find at least one thing that will aid your game, if not multiple things. I will be doing another in depth review of a different, but popular swing method very soon, so stay tuned to see how I fare. The JVGA swing has a ton of merit in my opinion, and that's why I devoted 6 months to it. I hope my insights helped some of you, and if you need more on that method, I sincerely urge you to join Jim's academy, and learn from the master himself. That said, there may be times in the future when I revisit that method from time to time in my journeys. My best to all of you, and keep grinding!
Who's here after seeing Rick Shiels test this ball in his video? Between you and him, I'm sold on buying them. I'd love to play a straighter game. Me being a big stick guy, I'm not worried about "finessing" a ball at all.
Thanks Ryan. Yeah, if you're a highly skilled player, maybe it's a different story, but for the vast majority of golfers, getting a 20 percent assist in keeping the ball closer to the target is a nice little door prize.

Thanks Sandy! And I couldn't agree more. The number of golfers rolling up to the course, with expensive balls, feeding the trees and the creeks, is ridiculous. $50 per dozen VS. $15 or $20 per dozen? Did you pick up the ball and realign the ball on your fairway shots, I didn’t see you do that but looking at the ball’s dimple pattern I would assume that it needs to travel through the air in a particular direction to enable it to stay on a straighter path. Great video by the way. Have just found your channel.
