- Hello all! This is my first video and I felt it would be only fitting to give some of the reasons I decided to buy a Can-Am Ryker 900 ACE. I had a lot of fun making this video and I hope you all enjoy. If you want to keep up with me here are my Socials

Happy Riding Rhino! Good luck on the channel, we're looking forward to more videos!
Thank you for taking the time to watch. Love the Ryker and Spyders. Whole reason I got into motorcycles.
I was not a motorcycle person but saw the Spyders and they perked my adventurous side. I studied them for a couple years while convincing my wife of it's virtues, then BRP introduced the Ryker and felt a shift. Took the 3 wheel class and was hooked for sure. I got a 2020 Rally and found a new church of freedom. Amen. Thanks for the vid. Awesome!
Thanks for taking the time to watch. I saw the first Spyder when I was in high-school and knew I was going to get something like it. They are really cool machines.
Convince your wife.....not my business,👀👀🤔
I grew up riding quads on endless dirt roads in Northern Canada. I totally get why you bought this. I bought my '22 Ryker Rally for the same reason. We've a lot of Amish roads where we live now. Old buggy roads and tracks. Unlike two wheelers, I can ride them with abandon. I like riding on the road. But, when I get bored of the traffic and someone else's pace, I can slide on off and hit the dirt tracks. Nothing like it.
Your 3 reasons are spot on!!...... i'm 52 and i've never rode a bike ... which was the reason i got a ryker... the clutch and the gears got me confused....
It is really nice not having to worry about anything. I really applaud BRP for making a motorcycle that breaks down some of the riding barriers. Thanks for giving the video a watch.
I love my Ryker 600. You def inspired me to get mine over the summer
I’ve ridden both spiders and rykers, and I’ll be getting a ryker, definitely love the different ways you can customize them, great video, cheers from Canada
Nice! Be safe and Enjoy Brotha! Ryker Dude here!
Thanks man. You do the same. Glad you enjoyed the video.
I got a 2023 ryker sport. Traded my harley due to back problems and balance. Ride on. Great video
Thank you very much. My back is also a trouble spot. I appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Cool video📽👍🏾
Thanks! I appreciate it.
Just got my 22 Rally!! I love it!
The wheels on the 22 Rally are awesome. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
Found the happy medium, buying a used Ryker for 8600 with some added accessories and only 3K miles on it! Super excited!
You'll love it. I'm excited for you.
Subbing, welcome to the world of 3 wheelers. I myself have been a 2 wheel rider for over 40 years. I just bought a 2021 F-3S in November this last year. Can’t wait for the weather to change here in the Midwest so I can enjoy my Spyder. I only got 3 rides in when we had a few days with temps in the low 50’s. I really enjoyed it. The F-3S is a rocket on the road, mine has just over 700 miles on it, so I haven’t even red lined it yet. That time will come, however not soon enough! LOL! It was about 18 Degrees today🥶🥶🥶Burrr. Can’t wait for this next ridding season. Welcome to the club.
Thanks for following the channel. The F3s are fast. I've test road one after I got my Ryker and they are nice. My next trike is probably going to be a F3T.
@@rhinolife13 sweet, looking forward to your content. Hopefully I can post next season.
I'm pretty much sold on these. I've been wanting to get into bikes, but I didn't want the hassle of standing up at a light or trying not to fall at slow speeds. I'd rather get Can Am's other offering, the Spyder, but they generally cost more, even a medium mileage 2016 model will cost as much as a Ryker 900. Spyders also have semi manuals which is a plus for me because I would like some kind of shifting ability. That said, the CVTs Can Am builds are bulletproof.
Welcome, Rhino! What a great video!! Love your new ride and I see you do, too! I have a Spyder and sure do enjoy riding it! I had the opportunity to try a Ryker at my 3 wheeler course...it was fun! Do you have any special mods planned? Funny you mention 4-wheelers...we have a farm and that is what I have been riding the last 8 weeks due to the weather. Best wishes! Stay safe!
I'm actually going to do a couple videos on mods I already have and some I'm wanting to install.
Eventually I want to get a Spyder F3t. All the Spyders are really nice machines. Thanks for taking the time to watch. I really appreciate it.
@@rhinolife13 That will be great and the mod videos will get some great views for you!! I'll be watching more of your content. Sorry I didn't see this comment last night...screw tube, lol
Hay from “Dark Dave’s Shop,” always just ride and have fun.
That's always the goal. Thanks for watching.
@@rhinolife13 while I tried your style my years on a standard motorcycle just made it feel off but I got the TriGlide. All that has ever mattered to me is people are out enjoying life and treating others with respect.
@@motorcyclestoriesbydarkdave The triglides are also really cool. I'm hoping to do a review of one on this channel at sometime.
Hi I own a ryker 600 and I love it
My wife has a 600 they are great. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
I have mild Cerebral Palsy, and can walk with the assistance of a walker. I don’t have a car license, but I’ve been seriously debating getting a motorcycle license for one of these. I’ve been riding 3 wheel bikes and scooters for about 10-15 years, and while I know that a motorcycle is a bit different, I crave the freedom it would give me even as someone who feels uncomfortable driving a car since I don’t trust my legs to be able to handle the pedals efficiently, but I feel like I could master the hand held throttle with just a bit of practice.
They do make a hand brake conversion for the rykers. Since it's fully automatic you don't have to worry about gears. I know of a lot of people with limited to no use of their legs ride them. It is a very freeing experience I hope you get one man.
@@rhinolife13 I was actually thinking about instantly modding one with a hand break conversion haha. I’ll be saving up for one that’s for sure. I can use it in good weather and then my partner can take me in bad weather or I can use the bus 😁
What about rain scenarios? How does it hold off? Do the tires drift?
So it does fine in light and moderate rain. In heavy rain that back tire does like to fish tail a little bit. If I get caught in the rain I'll normally throw it in eco mode and that seems to help a bit.
Where can I get that white helmet
Send me a link
Thanks great video
I just got it off of Amazon. I can't find the link now but it's just a run of the mill modular helmet.
I think with the rising prices of automobiles of all types. A ryker if u have a short to moderate commute to work would be a value to keep costly mileage off ur main vehicle.
I'm not sure honestly. My commute is 40 miles one way and unless it's raining really hard this is what I take. It definitely makes the commute more fun though.
Yup, that's why I am doing it, keep miles off my 202 Tundra, which now would cost 55K new, and save a bit on gas!!
@@bettysmith4527 if I got one of these it would be my only form of transport aside from my boyfriends car, or the bus. And I think I’m okay with that.
@@JacobMinger that isn't possible here, I don't live in the city, nor would I want too, so a car is a must. I actually rode a Ryker today and I felt so vulnerable, and I just wasn't feeling it, I haven't ridden in 6 years and I guess I am ok with it. Needless to say no more motorcycles for me...
Great video. We are of like mind set my friend. I love the automatic bikes and I love a bike that balances itself. And its not because I am old or not physically able. I am a strong healthy boy. I just love auto and a self balancing bike. How are Rykers for big boy?? Any idea?? Thanks and ride on!!
I'm a really big guy and I can say it does awesome. Have to set the rear preset higher but once you do that you won't have any issues.
Thanks for watching man. Glad you enjoyed the video.
@@rhinolife13 bro, u just made me getting one/my final decision a done deal! Thank you so much!! Ive always thought it was going to be Goldwing trike but 50,000 is just way too much. This is way more realistic. And looks fun! Thank you bro!!! Would love to see a vid of u on yours!
@@a.d.c7941 I probably should do a walk around video of mine. Thanks for the idea.
Awesome. Your going to love it dude.
@@rhinolife13 I would love seeing that!! I’m new to the Rykers so it would be very beneficial for me. I am subscribing now and I very much look forward to that video and more! Maybe one day we can ride together. Thank u so much for this!
Can anybody answer my questions about the process of getting the bike and the requirements of getting it like do they check credit and work history some please
This is how it was for me. I talked to the dealership about 2 weeks before I got it. I originally was going to order it but this one came in and it was basically everything I wanted. So, I went to the dealership filled out a bunch of paperwork then they ran a credit check. They did ask about work but I'm not sure how much that plays into it. The check took about 10 mins. After I got approved I gave them my down-payment. The dealership then prepared my Ryker while I called my insurance to get it added to my plan. After they where done with the trike I rolled off the lot with it. Hope this helps.
@@rhinolife13 so they just want a down payment and and a credit check
@@elijahwatts7867 that's all they asked from me.
@@rhinolife13 bet
How many miles before it's considered trash
I currently have a little over 17000 on mine and still no issues. If you keep up with the maintenance schedule these things will last.
@@rhinolife13 Thank you
