Despite his background, Curtis has developed himself into a seemingly great business man. Not only from marketing his Vitamin Water but with creating the Power franchise. Each interview I see of him I am baffled. You don't see many other rappers discussing the financial side of the rap genre or their own personal marketing pursuits to build investments. Also the partnership/friendship that 50 and Eminem has is great. They have given each other their flowers. They have each given each other space to bloom in their own rap styles and audience without competition. Curtis has acknowledged that Eminem not only helped him get signed but that Eminem had an upper hand with his race in expanding rap to other communities thus inspiring others who may be interested in the genre (example Jack Harlow). Eminem has changed the face of rap thus broadening the audience reached for this genre. Eminem has also given props to 50 cent. He acknowledged that their Shady label would not have been what it is without 50 joining.
