Dr Geo. Your program is awesome. Thank you so much. Having said that, folks watching likely are looking for providers. Twice, Dr. Karamanian was about to reveal other doc's with his skill set and instead of allowing him to talk, you interrupted repeatedly, resulting in a less valuable video than you could have otherwise produced. Consider being a bit more of a listener, rather than talking. Fight those east coast urges. LOL
Great information. However, my husband was just diagnosed with gleason 6. None of the cancer was found in the actual lesion. It was found in 3 different areas of the prostate, so he's been told to watch and wait. He's not comfortable with this, as he has severe anxiety. The Dr's have told us that the only other choice is a radical prostatectomy, but he's only in his mid 50's so he doesn't want to risk the side effects. Is this even an option for someone like him? I studied heart ablations because I've had relatives who had to have them, and they were very successful. Is it similar to that? Thanks if you ever read this.
Gleason score 6 is not cancerous as per the new standard advocated by Dr. Klotz. Tell your husband to watch the video. Till last year, I had a score of 6 . This year, it changed to 3+4. Next week I am going in for SABRT . Hope this helps to calm your hubby. ua-cam.com/video/LZ41IshDrBI/v-deo.htmlsi=MCH_vEiNYq8LxXbW
Julie, you guys have just got to slow your roll! 6 is not really considered cancer. Many times doctor's offer radical prostatectomy because that's all they know. You've got a lot of learning to do and plenty of time. Many treatments lead to erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence. Ask your husband at mid-fifties if wants to rush into that. In addition to Dr Geo, search UA-cam for the Prostate Cancer Research Institute. They have an awesome library of very useful videos.
I spoke to Dr. Karmannian and his office for a Tulsa Pro Consult. Very impressed…

The cancer needs to be found first, is it possible to take iodine for a month, say 25mg daily, and then get a MRI without a contrast agent?
