  • 12 months on from first trying The Ordinary Argireline Solution I share with you my results and how this product has worked in my skincare routine. The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% Review
Hey guys and welcome to Mad About Skin. Wow time flys and its been 12 months since I first tried The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% in my skincare routine. In this video I share with you a The Ordinary Argireline before and after and the results I have seen for my anti-aging skincare routine.
The Ordinary Argireline is a single peptide product which is designed to target dynamic fine lines and wrinkles and is often called ' botox in a bottle ' for its ability to iron out wrinkles in the skin. I was so intrigued to try this out a year ago and have been using it daily since.
In this video I will be putting to the test that it is botox in a bottle, sharing with you the results I have seen in my own skin and the hint tips and hacks I have learned along the way for getting the most out of The Ordinary Argireline.
I would love to know what your experience with The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10 has been so please leave me a comment below and let me know.
If you enjoyed this video and would like to see more reviews like this then please give it a big thumbs up to let me know.

I just started the agireline and matrixyl combo last night per your vid from before. Only using it on my crows feet, under eyes and my forehead. And yes, it's so affordable, why not use it? I will be using this combo forever in my skin car routine. Thank you so much for your advice to us all.

I used Argireline about two years ago I think and I didn't see any difference. But recently I watched another video of yours saying you love this product, so I said for the price why not give it another try. I have been using it for a month AM/PM and I am amazed. I am 54 and have fine lines under my eyes, no crow's feet, but there was this one line under my right eye just a tiny bit deeper. It has been reduced I would say more than 50% and it is totally due to this product because otherwise I haven't changed anything in my routine. So thank you so much for sharing your experience. The price is so low that I will not stop using Argireline ever xx

I have used this product since 2018 and loving it. The lines on my forehead disappeared. When I started the SubQ several months ago, I decided to stop the argireline to see what would happen. Guess who's back? My friendly "smile" lines on my forehead. So, I will be adding the argireline back into my routine! Just like you Rob, I know it's the most inexpensive way to eliminate fine lines!

Great review! This is a product that I bought because you recommended it. So Happy I did. I only need to use it when I get the dynamic Lines like crows feet. Definitely a holy Grail. So affordable I only use it in the morning And still get those great results. Always have a backup bottle and I will buy this as long as they keep making it at this price point. I agree that the results aren't cumulative, the lines come back, however if you use that every day, you're preventing etching those wrinkles in further. Mary Ellen over 60 swears by it and uses it every single day. Can't believe her age, her skin looks so good

Hi Rob I used one bottle a while back, but didn't see a great deal of improvement tbh (although maybe I didn't use it for long enough). The other issue is the base of HA it sits in (as with all TO products) isn't something my super dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin likes. Despite all the layers of hydration, emollients and occlusives my skin gets really bad rebound dehydration from HA. If HA is way down on the INCI list and in a well formulated product I can tolerate it without issue, but the ordinary serums seem to give me that rebound dehydration more than many other brands. That's why I don't use much of their skincare any more - apart from the cleanser.
I'm really happy you have had such good results from it though, as have others going by the comments section. This ingredient is in my dear, Klairs fundamental watery oil serum I'm currently using, but as before I haven't noticed any difference in lines/wrinkles - the Klairs is very hydrating though and I do like it. Perhaps at 49 my wrinkles are a bit too set in to get much benefit from it? In any case best wishes Rob. x

@@rebeccamorris3677 Yes I've tried it with damp/wet skin, multiple layers of watery toners and a water mist between layers. I always use an occlusive moisturiser, due to having dry skin. I've used it properly and don't even live in an arid climate - Scotland is a fairly wet place normally. HA just doesn't work well on me. We're all different and what works for some won't work for others. It's not a lack of knowledge on how to use it - just a personal experience of it not working for me.

Hi Rob, I’ve said it before and will keep saying it...I just love your channel and can’t get enough of your videos. I feel like I am meeting with a trusted friend each and every time.
Because of you I ordered the Argireline, SubQ, as well as The Inkey List Retinol (first time Retinol user) and Q10. Waiting on them to arrive. Now I just need a good moisturizer for my 47 year old combination skin that is prone to blackheads and enlarged pores. Any suggestions? I tend to prefer gel moisturizers over heavy creams.
Also, I’m wondering if I am introducing too many new products at the same time. Might be hard to tell what is working and what might not be. What do you think? Thanks for everything and sorry for this long message. Sending you much love and gratitude. Xxxx

I suggest to stop calling it Botox-in-a-bottle! Cuz it’s misleading & will lead to being disappointed in results. I think of it this way - it’s cheap, very easy to apply & is almost guaranteed to not cause breakouts or irritation. So why not try? I’ve been using it twice daily for 3 months & have seen noticeable (if somewhat slight) improvements on fine lines, so I’ll continue using. Will using this lead to dramatic quick improvements in lines as Botox does? Doubt it, but it works OK for me. Thanks for the rec, Rob! 👍

@@MadAboutSkin I'm just thinking, the mechanism of argireline is similar to botox in that it freezes the muscle where its applied. And if so, I can see why they would droop. If applied to sides of forehead it can make the eyebrows and eyes droopy as a lifted forehead has a lifting effect to the eye area etc.
This ought to be scrutinised and location of application should be more deliberate, with anatomical/clinical awareness of how muscles work and retract around the face. Argireline can have an aging effect if applied incorrectly.
      Worth looking into. 👌
