Surron NYC - Pulled Over by Cops at Roosevelt Island

Small group ride on the Sur Ron Electric Bike in NYC to visit Roosevelt Island. We weren't doing anything wrong and police started to hassle us. Luckily didn't get a ticket. Decided to dip and get some shawarmas after.

Apparently not allowed on the grass hills to the south? Or enough for someone to complain apparently. Also all streets are one way and some people were going the opposite way.

PSD is peace enforcer, they are not cops so you don't have to be scared. Think of security workers at parking lot. yes. they can only suggest you to not ride or exit but nothing more than that.
anything more than that, they have to call actual NYPD. at 114th Precinct and they will never do that because they dont get paid enough to care that much shit about stuff LOL.
so just enjoy riding everywhere.

PSD are law enforcement when on duty. They are allowed to arrest you, write tickets, etc they literally can act in a law enforcement capacity when on duty idk where you guys think they are some allied universal ass dudes. NYPD goes to Roosevelt Island for like shootings and stabbings and serious shit like that, and respond alongside RIPSD. Y’all need to educate yourselves.
