Mini Dapple Dachshunds Coping With The Hot Weather | Paddling Pool And Playing Catch With The Hose

We had a spell of really hot weather and I try to keep the dogs cool with a sledge that we fill with water and Gracie discovers a new game of chasing the hose - she loved it and I got to absolutely soak them without them realising! x
Our History
We were only getting one puppy, Gracie but then fell in love with Sapphire, Saffy for short and couldn't let her go. Mum is a black and tan and Dad is a chocolate dapple. Gracie is a silver dapple and Saffy is a silver dapple with white. We are fully aware of double dapple issues but she was not bred from two dapples and is very healthy so far. We would not breed from her either.

I keep a swimming pool set up all summer for Banger my miniature dachshund. He also has a splash pad that he likes. I throw his ball in them and he jumps in, I love watching him play. Today is his sister Violet's birthday and the dogs are having a pool party!🐾❤️
