Little man has memories for a lifetime, I am so glad to see kids keeps our heritage alive. I wish I could have had a little to pass the sport on to but good lord never blessed me that way. I just hope my wife spreads my collection out with my nephews

That turned out great. You should use a wood burning tool and scribe the date taken and how old he is.

Another great one. Way to keep the little munchkin spending time with dad doin quality bonding! Hot glue gun on the backside and inside the feet helps close everything out and that gold screw will be hidden. If your wife is anything like mine she already can sense the gold color from a mile away!

Borax will help dry those meat ends out
We make a lot of fans out of pheasant, duck , and goose wings . Cheap and drys them out without and smell etc or deterioration down the road
Yep Borax is the way to go and it lasts forever ! Borax will inhibit mold,fungus and micro bugs from propagation !
We kinda did the same thing only our fan tail were from grouse their is a red phase that male grouse go through its good looking just like your Longbeard mount

I want you to do an experiment. Choose two different types of bullets with same case size,( same amount of charge), one with small bore bullets, or narrow projectiles like usual rifle rounds and another with larger diameter bullets, probably same diameter as the case, like handgun rounds.
Shoot them and check their velocity differences, choose different barrel lenghts and check the changes in velocities each time.
Try 20 Mule Team Borax instead of salt for about 4-6 weeks. It looks very nice.

@@WHOTEEWHO I Pheasant Hunt but for me it's just as much about being out in the woods and fields with my Dog enjoying Nature then taking a bird etc. I guess watching somebody else hunt is like watching somebody golf. I just find it uninteresting. With shooting it's more of a spectacle so it's fun to watch to see how your different target types react. Seeing what kind of groups you get. It's fun to watch your reactions. At the end of the day I guess it's because I love marksmanship and content related to that and if it's something hunting related I'd rather be doing that in person. Thats a long explanation but I hope it makes sense. And cars, it's just not what I tune in for either. I like cars but would rather go for a ride than watch a video about someone else's car.

@@WHOTEEWHO maybe print some pics from video of his hunt with date/particulars, kinda like a scrap book tied onto back for 50 years from now( I'd say add a thumb drive of the video but who knows what will be able to read that 50 years from now, like a VCR tape-never thought that would go do-do).
Turkey hunting philosophy: see, but do not be seen. Hear & don’t be heard ( making human sounds.) Do not use Turkey calls when scouting ( this educates the birds.) Do not ever get Turkey hunting fever ( it can get you fired from your job, divorced, can cause weight loss, physical exhaustion, anxiety, & can make even preachers lie.) & to be consistent in harvesting turkeys, you have to know the nature of the bird. And lastly, you have to be a cold blooded killer! Happy hunting😁
