Those spurs are crazy! Pumped for turkey season
Conner Lamphier bro my spurs on my turkey were 2 and 1 sixteenth I feel proud of myself
@@slax718 As you should! Thats an awesome trophy man.
I find it so cute that he paints the head as well. Its usually seen as a more softer or feminine job, but i love how proud he is of his work and really shows that anyone can do anything.
He definitely has both the passion and the skill!
Wow. That’s a process. I respect the time and effort this guy takes in preparing this bird. Seems like really dedicated and knowledgeable taxidermist. Quality work.
I’m new to turkey hunting I’m more of a Deer Hunter but I really enjoyed this episode one of the better ones Very informative I appreciated the fact that he was so open about his process of mounting them can’t wait to get into the woods this spring wish I lived closer to him would definitely have him do the mount
Donovan Arata be sure to catch our podcast with him. Tanner was a great guest and insightful for novice turkey hunters like me!
Thanks man!
Man those turkey mounts are on point! Great video! I hope to have a turkey mount in my man cave one day!
One of the absolute best episodes of the series.
Awesome video! Love the turkeys. Anyone else think that stumped looked like a 🐱
Good communication skills and a pleasure to listen to his experiences. Nice work on the turkeys too!

Just subscribed....very nice work!👌
He did a great job on my archery bear this year.
Great episode! Love seeing turkey episodes. If he runs with Chubbs than he’s probably a turkey killer also!!
Alan Gentle I’m no where near what chubbs is for sure!
Man!! That’s some fantastic work! When I finally get my Merriam turkey I’d like a full mount
Now that's a crib!
Nice work!
Good luck on your quest.
Great video ole bud!!!
very interesting interview
I truly enjoyed this video. What a great story. I cut the tail away from the bird and make a fan ,beard mount the cheap way or most common way but I know what to do with my next bird just pop it in the freezer and come to you to get the whole bird mounted. I'm in Maryland so your not far from me at all.
D. Fox sounds good!
He is my science teacher
same Brayden
I actually live in WV and HE WAS MY MATH TEACHER! I think he is a history teacher too. He is awesome, brought in one of his turkey mounts!
I loved this!
He’s so baked 😂
Watching this in Southern Oregon on Spring turkey opening season! 4-15-2022 also Good Friday Holiday. Heading out after work for a gobbler.
Great Job Tanner, hope you get them all. Used to live out in WV near you. Come out to MT and get a bird if it’s on your list.
That's pretty awesome
Good taxidermy great job friendo🇲🇽
Turkey hunting IS the best !!
This was a fucking awesome video
wicked cool vid
I was like where the turkey mounts at?!?! Yall heard me?
This is the episode for you then!
That moment tanner burns is your science teachet
I misspelled teacher sorry
Trevor stop it get some help
Brayden Stfu
This is unreal. Love the passion this guy has for turkeys. My dad started carving decoys in the early 80s and still does it. Can’t help but think Tanner reminds me of him a little bit in that way. I really wana know the 7 states he’s still missing
Matt Johnson I believe he mentioned it in the podcast we are getting ready to release.
Matt Johnson he is my science teacher
Oklahoma Arkansas Rhode Island Connecticut Massachusetts Oregon and Hawaii!
Hello Mr.Burns it's Trevor the one you don't like
Trevor Padgett your my favorite dude
2:14 please tell me I'm not the only person that laughed
This is awesome
I’m getting up in about 30 minutes to go turkey hunting so good luck to you also
The Nevada story was great. So was the Hawaii hunt.
Good video
I just moved to Buckhannon, I’ll be looking you up for future work.
Josh Shrift lookin forward to it
Artist
How did I not know that this dude lives in my hometown😂
I love hunting in wv
Leucistic is loss of pigment and Melanistic or Melanism is addition of pigment. That Turkey is Leucistic.
Great UA-cam, have you been able to hunt Turkey's in Oregon? I found an excellent spot this spring.
The voice crack though
Eating a turkey sandwich!
That lighter blonde turkey would be closer to leucistic than melanistic. A melanistic turkey would be darker or completely black. You do got a hell of a collection though.
Did you ever finish the slam?
If you are in West Virginia go see Paul Cales. 2 time World Champion whitetail taxidermist.
If I were him I would just use those as decoys😂
Dove soap is for ducks and tide is for turkeys, who knew
Its very very rare to see a die hard turkey guy like this. Its genrrally deer that guys go after. I wonder how many guys have killed deer in all 50 states? Or as many states that have deer?
Do the super slam with a bow
Killed my first turkey this morning and hadn't called in close to an hour. I've seen more birds just sitting under a tree in a blind then I have from calling
Don’t bother mounting a Turkey unless it’s frikin dry , feathers won’t track … love the fan idea but it’s no secret .. thanks for the video
Good
Hey bro, let us still your ideas! No one can take your talents so don’t be greedy.
love turkey hunting but funny part is I never got one
Come to NH. We can put you on a big eastern gobbler
Wondered what happened with the first upload, glad it worked out!
Outdoor OVERDOSE the video exported with some blue errors, we’re good to go now!
Exodus Trail Cameras awesome!
I live close to his taxidermy shop
What states don’t you have?
I've never had a turkey mount done because I've never seen one done right. I wish you were closer to my location. Everyone seems to be good at deer, but don't want to put the effort into turkeys.
He was my 6th grade teacher last year 😂
Turkeys piss me off because when you're hunting them, they're hard to come across, when you're not, they're moving through your back yard like it's a damn parade.
I live in New Hampshire
Somehow this guy makes me feel like a failure in life, damn I’m jealous!
Were the hell is Navada
Awesome video and great work! But its Ne-VAD-uh not Ne-VAH-duh!
That’s the best way to kill big old bird, being quiet. Almost two inches on the spurs god bless!!! You ever need a skydive and a Vermont bird hit me up.
Brock 44 appreciate it. Was up there not long ago hunting Vermont and New Hampshire. I’ll be back for sure
My favorite state to hunt is Iowa followed by Tennessee. What’s yours?
I wish i had taxidermies.
West Virginia Mountain mamma.... :s
