When we visited Monsaraz I was driving our first motorhome and we got stuck on the steep cobbled bend! We did stay on the top level and woke up to a sea of clouds. This was about 15 years ago! Your video brought back nice memories.
Hello Angie am really pleased it has brought back nice memories for you 🙂 I can well imagine how you got stuck! Funny when you look back but bet not at the time! 🤣 what motorhome did you have? we both really enjoyed it there as we did the whole region. 🙂
That's a lovely little A-class 🙂 what Adria do you own now? Our next motorhome will be a 4x4 we want to get off the roads more to get away from the tourist areas 🙂
@@angiemoore6518 that's a really lovely motorhome we both loved the layout 🙂 it was one on our list, ours is a similar layout it's the layout we liked 😁
Hi guys. I think you were at Montsaraz over Christmas? At that time did you stay on the upper level for the views or on the site as this time. Also you mentioned you were on a toll road. Any idea yet on the cost of toll roads in Portugal? I intend to register online so won't know the price until it hits my bank.
Hiya, you really don't need to worry about costs on the toll roads they are really cheap, you won't get any surprises, I would say take the toll roads over anything else, it's easier but we like both but learnt if there are mountains take the toll roads, we found as you travel south through Portugal they become more the normal tolls where you pay as you go, and even as a class 3 there not bad, your spot on to register online but when you enter Portugal as there valid for 30 days, after 30 days register again is actually really easy, if you have any problems just go into a PTT office there literally everywhere and the equivalent of our post offices, we are about four weeks behind on our videos at moment just because they take a long time to do and we don't do them to make money we never will lol 😀 funny thing most people don't really like to see places like we do, we know we are in the minority but never mind lol Mark and Denise 🙋♂️🙋🏼♀️ ps what motorhome do you have?
@@chrsfrm Nice motorhome autosleepers are great 🙂 you don't need to worry about the tolls and if you are just enter avoid tolls on your sat nav you will still get around easy enough and see places you would not if on the toll roads 🙂 toll roads spoil the fun 😀
Beautiful views another interesting video…. well done ❤
Thank you 😊 it was so surreal just can't explain the feeling it gave us while standing there. Thanks for watching Denise 🙋🏼♀️ and Mark🙋🏻♂️

@nomadicglobetrotters2023 we had a Hymer B654 imported to France from Germany, it was old when we got it! We have since had 2 Adrias.

@nomadicglobetrotters2023 we have a Coral Supreme S670 SL. John says it goes off road quite well as long as you are careful!!

Hello Ste, you must have seen at least a couple of people lol more here than France or italy that is for sure lol 😆
@nomadicglobetrotters2023 Yes, that is true. My parents live in a small village in France, my dad calls it 'the village of the damned '
@@ste7193 oh' lord 😱😂😂 we will see plenty more of those villages on the way back to the UK 🤣
