Thanks very much for this video. I have a 2003 GMC 2500hd 4wd and 6.0 motor. You gave guidance for those of us who still work on our back. Good job!

just did my 2001 gmc 2500 HD 4x4 oil cooler lines you don't need to take any of that stuff apart like drive shaft or lowering the fron dif. just make sure you take the mounting clip off that holds the two lines that has the bolt hole for the block. then you can wiggle the lines out the back side of motor. take off the black mounting tab on new lines then put in like you took old one out start in back to the front . then reinstall the mounting bracket blk that holds the two lines and bolts to the block . that easy

This is a great video. I wish I would have seen it yesterday before I decided to let the local shop handle this. I’d seen so many videos on how to do it but wasn’t confident because none were as clear as this. $750 to do this job!

@diversity2 I have a 2004 Yukon Denali, Loosing about 3qt a week, the oil filter was leaking badly, I inspected the Cooling lines and don't see ruptures, but did see some oil where the gasket is located, I check the flywheel whole no oil but when the car is running I see so drips near the drain plug... any thoughts?

It's sounds like what mine was doing before I replaced the rear main seal. I also check the flywheel hole and didn't notice any problems.

@@diversity2739 Thanks, I was hoping it wasn't the deal $1300 for the rear main seal, the oil pan gasket is half of that...

@@Daniel-tj4fz l know, l replaced, the oil pan gasket and the 0 ring, inside of the oil pan. then the cooler lines, and everything else l could think of, hoping it was not the rear main seal. it took me a week, and about 30, hours on my back, it's all on UA-cam. that was crazy!

also make sure you go over the oil pan nuts, and make sure they are not lose.
