I think you already see some seeds of it, despite the intense secularism and materialism that's overtaken the country. I think the Roman Catholic Church is responsible for so much of the rejection of Christ you see there, but its decline and eclipse by secular culture has allowed for real evangelism to take place.
What church do you attend in Ireland? I ask because we have sought to be involved in that country and are hoping to send someone in the future as a missionary.
Dead religion is finished in Ireland unfortunately secularism is rampant both North and South. Please come and help with the spread of the gospel 🙏 People think Ireland is a Christian country and most people have heard the gospel but not so,especially Catholic’s. I am from a Catholic background and from the North (which still has a relatively high number of evangelicals) so I heard the gospel from work colleagues. However the south only has a tiny number of evangelical believers!
Good to be reminded that God moves in response to real sustained prayer. If you present this overview again include the revival at Asbury College around 1970 or so. That was a true move of God among those college kids.
