I want the Iphone 13 mini. Do you think I should get it now or wait til when it;'s closer to September when the mini's price drops? Do you think the iPhone 12 mini & 13 mini will continue to be sold on their website even after being discontinued? Thanks
I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and had to take my daughters phone to trade it in… she STILL wanted the mini! From 12-13! She was stuck on it! I was trying to log into her Apple ID I literally said (this is SO tiny) BUT she LOVES it! Do NOT get rid of the mini!!! There are some that still want it!! Always!
My 13 mini was my first smartphone. I’d been using a flip phone and iPad mini for years and that system served me well, but life has gotten very difficult for people without a smartphone so I upgraded last December. We were going to Italy in May so I needed something I could use on that trip. I resisted upgrading to a smartphone because of their size, but when I stumbled upon the mini at Costco I bought it on the spur of the moment. Size, cost, and specs were all good for me. Then my new phone was stolen in Rome! When we got home and I shopped for a replacement I very briefly considered going to the 13, but I stuck with the mini and I’m glad I did. It’s the perfect phone! I even told my daughter she should get one while she still could. I sent her your video. Thanks!
I got the 13 mini a week ago and I love it. Coming from the iPhone 7 it’s amazing how the 13 mini feels simultaneously smaller and huge since the display itself is bigger. I love how I can use it with one hand like my previous favorite my 1st gen iPhone SE. since the minis aren’t being continued I’m definitely going to try to make this phone last 5 years like I did with my iPhone 7
I hope if they do drop the mini from the lineup, they keep the model and use it to refresh the "se" iPhone line, because the "small" size is really nice and practical especially for those who mainly drive Ipad's but need the phone for their watch etc.
I feel like they'd make the next SE to be the design of the XR. It makes sense. More people like bigger phones. Combine the XR design with Apple's latest chip (which should be efficient enough for a prolonged battery life), an LCD panel (which will help with that prolonged battery life), and being around $400. With that formula, it'll sell like hotcakes. Don't get me wrong, I'm an iphone 13 Mini user. I love my 13 mini and I'd love for Apple to continue this series but the way the trend is going for now, people are craving for big devices.
Since most people are now keeping their smartphones for years rather than upgrading yearly, it makes no sense for Apple to refresh the Mini every year… there’s not enough demand for it. But, I think it will return in the future…
@@lionflame21 this makes the most sense if anything. the SE gets refreshed every few years and the mini had a small following to be in the main lineup. this will please the small party of us that prefer smaller phones as we dont intend to upgrade as often without a mini being an option
Got my 13 mini. Absolutely love it. I used to just set my 12 Pro down as soon as I came in the door to pick up my iPad anyway. For me, a phone was always supposed to be pocket sized, smaller. The iPhone 13 mini is absolutely astounding.
I agree with this, I feel like a phone should be for calls and a few other things, but consuming content isn't what I want to use my phone for. I have one coming in the mail tomorrow, and I'm switching over from my Pixel 6a, so hopefully this change helps me stay off my phone more.
I got the iPhone 13 mini two days ago as an upgrade from my previous iPhone xs. I used to change my phone quite frequently, but when I bought my new iPhone 13 mini, I felt like I didn’t want to buy any phone again because, for me, this phone is the most perfect in all aspects, and I guess this could be the reason why Apple doesn’t want to continue creating a small flagship iPhone again, because people who buy such a small and powerful iPhone like this could probably not buy any future iPhones anymore. The iPhone 13 mini is ideal! The only downside is the back-glass because I think it would be better if it was made from aluminum material just like the iPhone SE 2016.
i upgraded to the 13 mini from the 7+ at launch in 2021. Best phone I have owned. Great CPU, battery life and it is the perfect size for runners. Runners want a small and light phone because running shorts often don't have pockets or they have small pockets and you don't want a lot of weight on one side of your body. It also fits easily in various pockets. I am disappointed that they are discontinuing the model but I plan to use this phone for five years and expect that Apple will bring it back in the future. I just need it for a year or two. I hope Apple does that for stuff that they can't justify making every year. I think that Apple will also continue to sell this for a few more years.
Me too the same bro… I too upgraded from iphone 7+ I’ve been using 13mini from past 7 months & its a awesome iphone money can buy @ an affordable price but still not much compromising on the features & battery as compared to the regular iphone 13 model. Its simply superb…. Many of my friends were blaming me for buying a smaller phone…but at the end of the day…I am the one who is using it and I have no regrets… Iphone 13 mini is a rockstar👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have the 13 mini and really like it. Apple is not very smart. The Iphone 13 mini is the only phone on the market this small with this kind of power which gives Apple the edge over everyone else that makes cell phones. Such a shame Apple is giving away this edge it has over all cell phone makers.
I am actually going to buy the iPhone Mini 13 and sell my iPhone 13 Pro. I am done with larger phones. My hands start to ache using these larger and heavier phones now. Thanks for the video and for convincing me to do so. lol.
Love love love my iPhone 13 mini…I usually get a new iPhone every two years or so, but after checking out the 15 lineup, I decided to keep my 13 mini…not sure why they got rid of that size. It’s ideal, especially in the summer when you’re wearing gym shorts. Doesn’t drag your pocket to the ground. And when you’re wearing formal wear, it’s nice and sleek and fits easily into any jacket or pant pocket. I have an iPad if I need a bigger screen.
I switched from Pixel 4a to the 13 mini and I love it. Very underrated phone since they are making new phones bigger every year, phones feel more like a mini tablet now. If you already have a small laptop, I don't think it's that necessary to have such big phone (I have a surface pro 8). The mini is small easy to carry around but not too small. Love it in my hand which allows me to use the phone with 1 hand only. Also, it's very comfortable to put it in my pocket. The battery lasts me all day with casual use and light gaming.
I bought a 13 mini as my first iPhone ever and I really like it. At first I thought of returning it because iOS is very different from android but once I got the hang of it I decided to keep it. The small size definitely makes a good selling point because not everyone wants a tv for a phone and I already have a big Samsung s22 so having a 2nd smaller phone is nice. Both phones have things they are both good at. One thing I will say the screen is alot better on the 13 mini then on the Samsung in direct sun light cause I can see the screen without issue and both phones get me through a 12 hour work shift reliably
I loved 5S so much, and then the original SE. I kept both a long time and then got an 8+ but regretted it. I was interested to buy the 13 mini. After watching your review, now I’m pretty sure I’m going to do it since Apple may not have newer phones this size for a while. I hope they realize that people with smaller hands find the larger format inconvenient and keep offering the reasonably sized phones.
After owning that XR paddle for 3 years, I really wanted to update. My best friend had a 12 mini and I was kind of mocking it for its small display size - but after holding it, I also wanted a mini! I got the 13 mini in 256GB and Product Red and I LOOOOVE it!!! Sad to see the mini go! 🥺
I’ve had my IPhone 13 mini for 7 mos and love it. I’ve always used larger phones for the past 10 years and now I’m so glad I made the switch to a smaller phone. It just feels so much more comfortable on the hands and it’s portability. I’m now a big fan of smaller phones and hope that this may be an option in the near future. Thanks for sharing this video!!!!
The 13 mini is my favorite iPhone ever, and it’ll likely be my favorite iPhone for years to come because it’s very much the last small iPhone available.
I have the iPhone 12 mini I’ve had it since release day November 13, 2020 it’s been my daily driver. I plan on getting the 13 mini before it goes out the door. I’m sure Apple will see the 13 mini for awhile in there lower price bracket. But these small iPhones bring back the feelings of the past and it’s a great little phone. Yes battery life isn’t the greatest but it’s also a small phone which means small battery, but when you plug the phone in it doesn’t take that long to charge.
I’m honestly baffled this is the last mini because of not enough sales imo it’s honestly the perfect size smart phone obviously the majority of people today want bigger phones such a shame
I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini. Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible. It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.
Liked this video, then unliked it, just so I could like it again. Super sad that the mini is discontinued. My favorite iPhone iteration of all time is the iPhone 4s. Just ordered the 13 mini and can't wait to use it as my main!
I agree with everything you stated. Looks like I have to hold onto this mini for years to come. Apple really should make this model available in their lineup. It’s such a great device.
I have big hands and the mini is still perfect and fits in my pocket without bothering me. When I see most people shove their huge phones in their pockets, it pops out and looks ridiculous. I can watch videos just fine on mini and if the screen needs to be larger then I do what I’m doing now, watching on my iPad …… mini. That’s right, iPad mini.
I love the iPhone minis. If 5.4 inch size struggle to fit bigger battery, why wouldn’t Apple use 5.8 inch size instead and make it thicker. 1. 5.8 inch is the sweet spot size - Galaxy S8, S9, iPhone X, XS, XR. 2. Thicker phone makes for easier grip and I think most of people don't mind that.
Great video! Just upgraded to the 13 mini from an iPhone X. Loving the size, but still getting used to the smaller form factor. Overall i couldn’t be happier!
I already own one! And yes I am devastated for they will already stop mini versions on the 14 line up! You nailed everything everyone of us likes about this iPhone mini! Its not because we prefer smaller phones! Its just that we already appreciate and believe that the previous size of phones on a time where big screened phones dont exist yet is just what we essentially need. 🤞
I had the 12 mini and loved it, but the battery life was horrendous. When they announced better battery life in the 13 mini I picked it up immediately. Fantastic phone!!! This is the first phone I can easily see using for years. I do hope they incorporate it into the SE.
In love with the mini Have the 12 mini and now grabbing the 13 mini just because there won’t be a 14 or 15 mini :( I wish Apple would have made a 3-4 year cycle for the mini for people like us that love it. So every 3-4 years we can upgrade to a full flagship “mini”
For years I had been reluctant to upgrade my 6s as I liked everything about it so much. Due to iOS support for it being dropped however and hearing that there wasn’t going to be a 14 mini model I locked in and bought a 256gb 13 mini. I’m now very relieved I did as I didn’t want a large phone and this 13 mini feels as comfortable in hand as the 6s did while having the slightly larger screen and of course much improved tech features. As far as battery life is concerned I’m getting two solid days out of a charge at my usage levels. To me this 13 mini is the new perfect phone in every way and I wonder if its slow sales were due to the slightly negative connotations of calling it a ‘mini’ which may have turned people off. I can see myself keeping this 13 mini as long as iOS supports it.
As a blind iPhone user, screen size is not important to me, so the mini has been my favorite iPhone apart from the 2016 SE, 4S and most beloved, 3GS. Having a light, pocketable iPhone has made all the difference in my daily life, as I have to use my iPhone one-handed frequently, and being a smaller iPhone, means I'm less of a target as people won't want to rob someone with such a tiny phone on them... The only things I wish for are LiDar, Titanium edges and 1 terabyte of storage... Yes, 512 GB is plenty for me at this time, but I like to futureproof my devices as much as possible.
i had the 12 mini for a year and a half and absolutely loved the size but suffered from the horrible battery life, heard the battery in the 13 mini is better but didn’t want to risk it and just got the 13 pro
2 things. First, your 13 mini will be usable till like 2028, not more. Apps won't work. And second, shame Apple don't make 14 mini or in the future. They are idiots
@@yayarearaidernation510 Obviously Apple's decision to stop making any more future mini iPhones is because there is not enough demand for them. Too small of a phone and the battery is terrible. The exact opposite of what the majority want. Simple stuff to understand.
@@sagabeard Asus launched a similarly sized phone in the last couple of months... the battery on that thing is... wait for it... 4300mAh. So it's not the size, it's Apple.
I came from the large phones and most recently the 13 Pro Max. I picked up the 7, changed the battery, and have been using for 3 months. I miss the smaller size, and will grab the 13 mini in a week.
I have bought a 13 mini, and right now it’s on 56℅ charge. I charged it more than 36 hours ago. I use my samsung a22 for watching videos on yt and netflix and use social media on it and it gives me 12 hours of sot on heavy use. I use the 13 mini for photography and work. If you want to be a happy user of the 13 mini you should have a chip samsung A or M series phone on the side.
I think it’s fairly obvious most people should buy the standard 13, but I firmly believe more people should consider the mini. The 13 is better value overall, but I think the mini is a better fit for more people than have bought it.
I used 13 mini for about 5 months and i loved this phone is decent and fast in multitasking, size is perfect on my hand. Although it only has two camera without macro mode but it fine for me because the quality photos is great. I dont know why apple stops this mini since it a HUMBLE FLAGSHIP PHONE for me..
I’ve just bought the 13mini for the exact reasons you’ve mentioned. Packed with features in the perfect size for a truly mobile phone. Thanks so much for great assessment regarding the iPhone 13mini.
Loved my 12 mini. Sadly so did a scooter thief going by me one day here in Santiago, Chile. So, I got the 13 mini. Love it too. Glad I got it since the mini design is toast now. Hope to rock it for 5 years.
The 13 mini loses out on a lot just because of the screen the battery, media consumption not great keyboard is almost always hitting the wrong buttons and it won’t get me through a quarter of a day before it needs recharging and that’s the biggest flaw the more you charge it the quicker the lithium battery dies and the more money apple gets from one phone it really is a bad deal
It’s name mini is partially to blame for its low sales, people believe they’re getting less of a product, people think it’s a smaller slower less capable version of the regular 13.
I currently own a 12 mini and I love it but definitely thinking about getting the 13 mini in the future for the bigger storage space and bigger battery
I own a 13 mini and I believe this to be ultimate size for a phone, somewhere between 5"4 - 5"6 inch. I run and bike a lot and the difference between bringing my old 6"5 phone and the mini i huge. I will never upgrade until they make another small phone, 5"4 - 5"6, never. (also my right hand don't hurt anymore, which it did from reaching all over the screen on my last phone).
I own a 13 Mini. It was my first iPhone owned. Prior to this I have owned the Sony Xperia Compact range for several years. I had the Z1, Z5 and XZ1 Compact phones. XZ2 Compact was the final compact flagship phone from Sony. Now iPhone tell us the 13 Mini is their final flagship phone. I'll be keeping mine for a while most definitely!
Just last week, I upgraded my iPhone se 2020 (which I also love, but the battery life wasn't great to begin with and after 3 years, had degraded too much for practical use) to the 13 mini and I LOVE it! I prefer smaller smartphone form factors. I hate huge smartphones that almost look like a tablet. It's so convenient to operate the 13 mini with one hand. It's powerful, can fit an almost any pocket, and the 13 mini's battery life lasts me all day with one charge. I hope Apple reconsiders and returns the mini to the iPhone lineup, but until then, I intend to keep the 13 mini for several years to come.
I have just got to the point of upgrading my phone. I ditched the iPhone 11 half way through the contract to get the 12 Mini. Now the contract has come to an end on my 12 Mini. Usually, I would upgrade to the absolute latest model (in this case the 14). But not on this occasion, I haven’t! I’ve gone for the 13 Mini which is the first time I’ve gone for an older model. I hate having things in my pocket, I hate the clumsiness of the regular sized phones with a passion. The Mini is perfect, portable, easy to handle and perfect in every way! I think that Apple, despite the poor sales; have made a mistake. I feel they just didn’t launch the Mini series very well. They lost a real opportunity to really make the Mini series work. Hopefully they will see sense and model the SE on the Mini series in the future. That seems a logical progression. Perhaps the mistake was that they called it a Mini. It feels like it’s less. People don’t want less. They got it all wrong in the branding, marketing and the way they launched it. Shame. Hopefully I’ll have the 13 Mini long enough (it’s arriving tomorrow) for Apple to have changed it’s mind by the time this two year contract is over. Fingers crossed. PS I’ve watched videos on and off all day today and the time is now 00:06am (I got up and 7am) AND, I have 13% Battery. I haven’t charged once since 7am.
Just got the 13 mini yesterday. I love it! I had the original iPhone se & to me that was the best IPhone ever. This phone reminds me so much of the original se. Hopefully I will love the 13 mini just as much
I've been watching these iPhone 13 mini reviews as I wait for mine to get delivered. I like the comment about people that liked the iPhone 4. The 4S was my first smartphone, and to date still remains my favorite phone. These mini models seem like a natural spiritual successor to that, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Traded up to the 13 Mini from the iPhone 8, and I love it. (Got the new, dark green color, which is great.) Same size phone, but a larger screen, much better photos, double the storage .... and the squared-off edges and glass back make it a lot easier to hold than the slippery iPhone 8. I expect to own this thing for 5-6 years at least, making the purchase price something of a bargain.
I loved my iPhone 8 in terms of size…..holding the mini definitely felt smaller, almost to small. My biggest concern is watching videos like UA-cam on it. How do you feel about watching videos on the mini compared to your iPhone 8? The screen is bigger but seems more narrow. What’s your thoughts?
@@greeneyesfromohio4103 Side-by-side, the screens are identical in width. I think the different width/height ratios just make the Mini's screen _seem_ narrower.
My Samsung Note 9 just died and not interested in buying another huge phone. I got tired of holding big phones. I like my android phones but I really like my iPads' fluidity and continuous updates. The 13 mini will be my first iPhone.
I just ordered mine and I have a IPhone 12 promax……its way too big and ]ust want a smaller package. I had the original SE and loved it so much…so waiting for my 13 mini
The so-called didn't sell well iPhone Mini isn't going anywhere as we all remember the same analysts and leakers say the same about the iPhone X. Why would Apple ditch the Mini that made the recent Top 10 Best-selling Smartphones Globally list? Especially when the Mini's sales alone shamed the so-called best of Android phones that didn't even come close to making the list. 💯
I own a mini and love it. I think it was badly branded as "MINI". I first bought the PRO and sold ir right away. The mini should be branded as "CLASSIC" and would represent us much better, all of us that are OK with a classic phone without all the fancy things the pro can do.
I just got my iPhone 13 Mini 128 GB Starlight this week. Awesome indeed. It replaces my 6s 32 GB. I also still run my iPhone SE 2016 64 GB Space Grey in perfect condition. Somehow my iPhones last me 2 to 3 times longer than most users.
I just sold my iPhone 14 pro and got the 13 mini is so much better just the battery ain’t as good but is nice and small easy to use with one hand looks smart
I went today to an authorised apple product seller in KL, malaysia, to get the iphone 13 mini. The employee told me that the iphone 13 mini (128gb) is out of stock in all of their stores. I was abit upset that i couldnt buy it but i was glad that its selling cuz it could potentially mean that apple would continue the mini line and perhaps develop the battery further more. The mini size is great specially when multitasking. The only downsidd to me is i have doubts about keeping it for more than 2 years with that 2400 mah battery size 😭
@@greeneyesfromohio4103 never been a problem, and you can "full screen" with a pinch gesture. I've had mine for almost 1year, and I'll hold onto it till it dies. Look, the phones not for everyone, but if you want a phone that feels like a phone, without compromising on specs, the 13 mini is the way to go.
Just came across your channel and I purchased the iphone mini yesterday-- downsized from the 13 Pro Max. I actually love the smaller size, easy to carry around, fit in hand perfectly and I used it stickly for productivity. Thanks for the video.
Now that the 13 Mini has dropped to $599 it’s a bargain, and a smarter buy than the SE3. I’m replacing my XR with the Mini! I loved my original SE (iPhone 5 body) and want a smaller phone again. I wonder if iOS 16 will still look optimized on the smaller screen like 15 did 🤔
i dumped the 13mini for the 14Plus mainly for its incredible battery life. i'm a heavy phone user so charging the mini every 4 hours got super annoying after a year. now i can go 12+ hours from 90% to 30% with heavy use or upwards of 24 to 30 hours with light use. don't have to worry about battery life when i go to work even at 50%. After being treated with good battery life I can never go back to anything smaller. even if Apple gets rid of the Plus- I'll have no choice but to go with the promax
I have a 13 mini and love it . Battery life is good and it It’s identical to the regular size 13 in every feature. That’s a common misconception I see , people I’ve talked to really think the 13 mini is a lesser feature phone than the 13 regular size
Great video, Greg, as always and totally agree. In fact, I will buy several brand new ones before they are discontinued and store them - it will be of great demand when no longer available
I have the 12 mini and am bummed about the battery, especially after owning it for 13 months so far. I kinda wish I could even swap this for a 13 mini. 😅
I’m honored to be apart of the mini club. I only brought it because my iPhone 11 broke and I needed a quick affordable replacement. I am pleased to say, I am not disappointed.
I believe one of the reasons the iPhone minis have bad sales or at least in my country (outside US) is because the price difference in the mini and the regular is not that huge. For example here, when you look at Apple authorized resellers the gap is barely 50usd. So you gotta at least really want the mini to justify choosing it over the regular sized one. And don’t really know why that is the case for pricing, but I see a lot of discounts or promos for iPhone 13 and not for mini. That makes the 13 more affordable but the mini so close in pricing. That’s just my observation.
Yeah, i think people just associate bigger as better , and the 13 6.1” is a better deal in terms of screen size and a bigger battery. Otherwise they are the exact same specs. I paid the extra $$ for the 13 Mini w/256gb storage, since my old 8 is the same capacity.
I hope they move the mini to replace the SE and add a 3rd camera like the Pro and Pro Max. I think that will be a huge seller as long as the battery improves. I would buy that even on the A15 chip.
Its not that we dont want the mini, but at $700 for the small iphone when the normal sized iPhones are just $100 more makes the mini an expensive compromise. The mini iPhones must replace the Se, raise the price to ~$550 and thats a solid phone.
Hello Guys . i have iPhone 13 mini. with Battery health 99%. few days ago i update IOS 15.6 and after update my phone battery drain changed. It needs to be charged more often than before the update
I’m just upset that they’re discontinuing the Mini before they put USB-C on their phones. An iPhone 15 Mini with USB-C would be a day 1 buy for me, but I doubt they’ll bring it back.
Bought one back in November last year, sold it for a 13 pro, found it too awkward and heavy so sold that and just bought a brand new 13 mini in white. Then I’ll add applecare monthly and hopefully should be able to keep it for several years yet!
I just bought the 13 mini. I’m upgrading from the iPhone 11. I’m super excited! I’ve been wanting a small phone for a while. I have such small hands. I hope by the time I upgrade the mini in the future there will be a new mini option.
“I’m riddled with anxiety…”. LOL. Yep. Like the rest of us - but hooray for the 13 mini. Mine arrives on Monday. I can’t wait! Thank you for your lovely enthusiasm.
Although with the 11 and below people bought the standard version, with the the 12 and 13 I’ve seen WAY more pro max than before. The consumers have spoken, the giant screen (or at least 6.1) is it.
I wasn’t going to get an iPhone 12 because I just had replace the battery in my iPhone X. When I saw the square of edges I decided to upgrade to the 12 pro max. Now I’m dreading the bigger size just trying to hold one hand. I’ve been looking at the 13 mini but I think I might stick with a pro phone but I really do like the mini size.
If you’ve got a 12 mini and want to upgrade - don’t. These phones are literally the same bar the battery. Just buy a MagSafe/portable charger and you’re set
Just upgraded from my XS to a Product Red 13 Mini. I’ll be using it with a bumper, grip and wrist strap, and am looking forward to using it with MagSafe.
I have thumb arthritis. The overreaching I have to do on my iPhone 11 when typing, doesn’t help. So I ordered the 13 mini. 😃 Will get it next week. It’s almost the same size as my previous 6S and has the esthetics of the 4S with the cool corners.
I have had my 13 mini over a year now and still love it. Even though I’m in the iPhone every year program I didn’t see a point to upgrading to the 14 line and it’s disappointing to see they may not bring back the mini. I think it would be smart to continue with a smaller phone release in the spring, whether it’s a mini or an SE, just to provide something for the smaller phone users. If not, this may be the first iPhone in a long time I hold on to for multiple years.

I hope if they do drop the mini from the lineup, they keep the model and use it to refresh the "se" iPhone line, because the "small" size is really nice and practical especially for those who mainly drive Ipad's but need the phone for their watch etc.
Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening. Apparently sales of the 13 mini have been terrible. The next SE will likely have the iPhone 11 body.
Cool idea!!!
I am literally that person. iPad Pro and iPad Mini user here, needed an iPhone for the watch so grabbed a Mini. Annoying
“Phone for their watch” 🤦♂️
Since most people are now keeping their smartphones for years rather than upgrading yearly, it makes no sense for Apple to refresh the Mini every year… there’s not enough demand for it. But, I think it will return in the future…
I hope that this would be the next form factor of the SE few more years in the future.
@@lionflame21 indeed.
I love smaller phones
I imagine they'll continue to sell new iphone 13 minis for a few years . They still sell new iphone 11s in my country
The iPhone 13 mini is absolutely astounding.
so true my friend don't get using an iPad for your phone lol
Agreed, to me it is the perfect phone as well.
Glass back is how u get wireless charging, electricity can’t conduct through the metal
i upgraded to the 13 mini from the 7+ at launch in 2021.
Me too the same bro… I too upgraded from iphone 7+
I’ve been using 13mini from past 7 months & its a awesome iphone money can buy @ an affordable price but still not much compromising on the features & battery as compared to the regular iphone 13 model.
Its simply superb….
Many of my friends were blaming me for buying a smaller phone…but at the end of the day…I am the one who is using it and I have no regrets…
Iphone 13 mini is a rockstar👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wow, good point. I am a runner and forgot how much a disliked lugging my 7 plus.
@@jakemccoy As someone who misses having a shuffle, the mini has been a tolerable compromise for gym use as well.
I have the 13 mini and really like it. Apple is not very smart. The Iphone 13 mini is the only phone on the market this small with this kind of power which gives Apple the edge over everyone else that makes cell phones. Such a shame Apple is giving away this edge it has over all cell phone makers.
They only care about short term sales figure instead of usability in long term doesn’t matter how good a model is.

I bought a red 13 mini yesterday. I prefer smaller phones easier to carry around in your pocket

It’s amazing
@@GregsGadgets I have the 12 mini, I want to upgrade to the 13 mini before Apple gets rid of it 😢
I have the iPhone 12 mini I’ve had it since release day November 13, 2020 it’s been my daily driver.

@@anonymousanonymous4690 not bad...takes time to get used to it
I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini.
I agree Apple should keep these Mini Models in their line up they’re awesome 🙂👍

Hey there, which storage and colour did you go for?
@@FreckledFilms went for the midnight 128GB!

I bought the iphone 13 mini recently. I have always loved having a smaller phone and upgraded from the 7
In love with the mini
Have the 12 mini and now grabbing the 13 mini just because there won’t be a 14 or 15 mini :(
I wish Apple would have made a 3-4 year cycle for the mini for people like us that love it. So every 3-4 years we can upgrade to a full flagship “mini”
great idea
How do you feel watching videos like UA-cam on it??? That’s my concern that the screen is to small for that
As a blind iPhone user, screen size is not important to me, so the mini has been my favorite iPhone apart from the 2016 SE, 4S and most beloved, 3GS.
❤
i had the 12 mini for a year and a half and absolutely loved the size but suffered from the horrible battery life, heard the battery in the 13 mini is better but didn’t want to risk it and just got the 13 pro

I will forever keep my 13 mini, even when I attempt to upgrade. I feel in the future, the mini lineup will be missed by many consumers.
2 things. First, your 13 mini will be usable till like 2028, not more. Apps won't work. And second, shame Apple don't make 14 mini or in the future. They are idiots
@@ancientslav4863 I definitely agree with that. Shame on APPLE. Watch SAMSUNG come out with a mini and kill it.

Just got one today. Perfect size for the pocket. I have large hands, but can use it with no problems at all.
Spot on about the branding.
Consumers are not trained to associate things that are “mini” as “better”, especially in technology.
How’s it going?
Traded up to the 13 Mini from the iPhone 8, and I love it. (Got the new, dark green color, which is great.) Same size phone, but a larger screen, much better photos, double the storage .... and the squared-off edges and glass back make it a lot easier to hold than the slippery iPhone 8. I expect to own this thing for 5-6 years at least, making the purchase price something of a bargain.
You should buy a Tech 21 case, you can still see your phone, they are not expensive and they will protect your phone from everything

Somehow my iPhones last me 2 to 3 times longer than most users.

i dumped the 13mini for the 14Plus mainly for its incredible battery life. i'm a heavy phone user so charging the mini every 4 hours got super annoying after a year. now i can go 12+ hours from 90% to 30% with heavy use or upwards of 24 to 30 hours with light use. don't have to worry about battery life when i go to work even at 50%.

I have the 12 mini and am bummed about the battery, especially after owning it for 13 months so far. I kinda wish I could even swap this for a 13 mini. 😅
You could do a trade in and apple will charge you the difference depending how much they give you for your 12 mini
Wish they made 13 mini pro just bought 13 mini very happy
Apple shouldn’t ignore mini fans. WE ARE MANY.!
I hope they move the mini to replace the SE and add a 3rd camera like the Pro and Pro Max. I think that will be a huge seller as long as the battery improves. I would buy that even on the A15 chip.
I picked up 2 13 mini's on Black Friday for 300$ each, this is my favourite phone I have owned
Its not that we dont want the mini, but at $700 for the small iphone when the normal sized iPhones are just $100 more makes the mini an expensive compromise. The mini iPhones must replace the Se, raise the price to ~$550 and thats a solid phone.
I’m hoping the mini comes back as an SE.
Very good points. Every time I get a big phone, I always want to go back to a smaller phone.

Although with the 11 and below people bought the standard version, with the the 12 and 13 I’ve seen WAY more pro max than before. The consumers have spoken, the giant screen (or at least 6.1) is it.
I love my mini, it's been with me for 3 weeks and it feels great, works great, the camera is amazing, fits into pockets!!
We have a 12 mini and 13 mini and yeah, awesome portable phones that fit in your pocket.
is it worth to upgrade from an iphone 11 to the iphone 13 mini? ( i got the 11 last year )
I wasn’t going to get an iPhone 12 because I just had replace the battery in my iPhone X.
I work 9 to 6 I can tell you this phone is way more than I expected and I’m comfortably watching this video still no charge I even did overtime
