    Imagine the 89 € guitar 20 years ago. It would have probably had 5 strings, the neck mounted with the frets to the back and not even installed pickups but they come seperately in a plastic bag...

      😂 that's way too accurate. Bent nails hanging from where they badly hammered the neck to the body, splinters from playing, and one heck of an electrical short when plugged in

      @@chopholtz4950 I think about this a lot. And I have questions. During the industrial revolution they developed machines for many things, to make the hard work more efficient. When they used to need 20 people to dig a tunnel now they have a huge machine and you only need 2 people to operate it. But it is the same work done. Still it isn't possible for us to still let 20 people live off the money that the finished work makes. We only pay the 2. In my mind it makes no sense.
      And there are so many things that in fact should be automated, for example truck driving. Living in this tiny-house with tons of freight in the back, driving for hours a day and often being a danger on the streets because of too much driving and not enough resting doesn't seem like the smartest solution. Self-driving cars may still have some issues but self-driving trucks are way easier to make reality because they mostly drive on highways and traffic is way less complicated there. But of course we would have thousands of unemployed truck-drivers all of a sudden and even if their work still gets done we wouldn't continue paying them.
      Or think about offices and all those people working in totally redundant administration jobs, because much of this work could be easily done digitally and automated.
      But what do we do with all those people that are no longer necessary to get the work done? I would say, pay them anyways. Unconditional basic income.

    I own this exact guitar. It’s actually very good. It sounds great on cheap amps and expensive ones. I even upgraded the nut with a Tusq XL, added Hipshot locking tuners and changed the saddles to Gotoh compensated brass. I’ve bought a couple of Fenders since then and I STILL pick the Harley Benton up just as much. Go ahead; get one! You’ll love it.

    For anyone that bought the guitar, did it require many adjustments or was it fine out of the box?

    • @nunolance23
      @nunolance23 2 роки тому

      It will most likely require some adjustments. But at this price, it’s even expected. Some measuring tools and sanding paper and you should be fine

    • @FloridaManRacer
      @FloridaManRacer 2 роки тому

    • @galtonestudio
      @galtonestudio  3 роки тому +3

      To be honest not too much. It's one of my students guitar. For sure - you need to adjust the truss rod. Frets are not perfect so I'd at least polish them or do some basic fret leveling. But it's quite comfortable even without fret leveling (though fret ends are a little sharp).

      Part of the price is the fact that the company who makes them is just a branch of the company that sells it, so there’s no cost to distribute it to a seller (like Sweetwater) they also don’t really advertise which cuts price, and they don’t seem to care too much about making large profits, cause I’m sure if squire started selling strats at this price they would still make money cause of how stupidly marked up they are.

    I plan on getting the blue and red ones and just replacing the tuners and electronics. Thinking about doing a series/parallel mod for one and routing out a middle spot for a nashville tele configuration on the other. Does anyone know if a generic tele pickguard will fit this? Or will I need to get a harley benton pickguard/cut one out myself?

      ;) Please watch that video first ua-cam.com/video/pdJpChSiJM4/v-deo.html It's a benton in the same price range, I played on free plugins/cheap amp/cheap diy tube amp as well. To be honest you can get the same results with any plugins (scuffham s-gear, mercurial or neural dsp, or even free stuff). It's a good guitar (for the price), with a good setup, but it won't play for you :)

    • @doctor-dan
      @doctor-dan 3 роки тому +1

      I actually own the HB fusion T and it's weak spot is the electronics (pups, pots, switch). Besides that and slightly misplaced frets which will never deliver a good intonation setup, that guitar is pretty good. If you play it through a Kemper though, the pickups are probably gonna sound outstanding :D

    • @galtonestudio
      @galtonestudio  3 роки тому
