13 Sentinels was a phenomenal game. I want to go back and experience it for the first time again. The issue with this game is that the elevator pitch is hard to form. Still, must play!
Too funny, because I find myself the biggest Trails fan I know (in person). A lot of people played this thinking It was reminiscent of Persona 4 Golden, but I ironically started playing it after Tales of Hearts R. I only had screenshots to go by at the time and I thought the Trails series had a similar character power-up mechanic as Hearts. I literally went down the trails rabbit hole in which I played through four, went back to sky and Crossbell, and then play Cold Steel 1 through 4 again before Reverie and then boundless trails. I am beyond ready for daybreak

There are fair few RPG esque mechanics while also feeling like a Roguelike at the same time. Based on what I have seen in your lists and videos, I think you would appreciate what this game has to offer.
Some Wii U haters criticize the system for playing it too safe regarding the library. If it played too safe somebody needs to explain Tokyo Mirage Sessions # FE and Xenoblade Chronicles X. Atlus and Monolith Soft were like Cartman on Maury with those two games "whateva I do what I want"
@@locloudanerpg I'd be fine with it if Orochi wasn't there. I like the others because it cool to see how much better you've gotten, but he's been fought a couple times already, and he's one of the longer fights.
From your list I only played Skullgirls and TMS and honestly I have mixed feelings about both of them but it's probably just me I didn't enjoy skullgirls as much because I don't like such a sort of fighting games like Marvel v Capcom or Dragon ball FighterZ AT ALL. Those air combos isn't what I like fighting games. I like the footsies and mind games that Smash and Street fighter 5 give me Tokyo Mirage Sessions - for as much of a weeb I am even learning Japanese for 4 years and passing an international exam... It ended up being a bit cringy at some points. But truly, the battle mechanic is fun and all, but maybe there was just too much focus on idol stuff. If it had a bit more slice of life parts, then I'd probably enjoy it more (like I enjoyed the heck out of Persona 3 Portable)
I was like "Wow! A whole video where he doesn't make a cringy comment about a female character!" then Jak & Dax came up and got blind sided. ugh so close

While I agree that Okami's quality does begin to dip in the third act, I do think it stick the landing with a great Final Boss and ending.

I agree with TMS. I think it could have been so much more. As for skull girls I really just have no fighter experience.
