Well here´s a little story. In 2011, when i was 11 years old, i was in disneyland with my family. everything was fine and wonderful. But in the later Afternoon we decided to ride this coaster. I was a little bit afraid of and didn´t really wanted to ride it. My family persuaded me a little bit. But it was ok. I need to say that i was big enough to be allowed to ride it. But i was kinda small though. Everything was fine. The seat was a little bit too big for me. i has been shaked from side to side. Until the Looping. The forces pushed me into my seat and then i could feel that something was wrong. Instantly i felt a huge pain in my lower back. It was extreme. I started to cry cause of the pain. I felt like i couldn´t breathe. As the Coaster finished his ride, my family was really confused. I cried and cried so loud. The took me to a little stone were i could take a seat. but i felt that i couldn´t stand up straight. it felt horrible. After 30-40 minutes, the pain got less. I could walk slightly bend. 1 hour later, the pain was really weak. My Parents had no clue what happened. After it was almost gone, they didnt really worried that much. They thought it was a cramp or something like that. So i thought everything is right. In the years till now, i had back pain sometimes. 1-3 Times in a year i had a very strong pain in my lower back. It was the same feeling of pain as in Disneyland. Just a little bit less intense. Last year i got more problems wth my back. One time stumbled on stairs, cause my leg had no muscular force in it. At the same moment i felt the pain in my back. A few weeks ago i had a similar problem with my leg. The doctors said, it could been caused by my back. They didn´t knew the story of my accident in disneyland. Well the made a MRI of my spine and tadaaaaa. I have a disc prolapse. One of my discs is really fucked up. Its looks crushed. Now i need to train my back muscles to relieve my damaged disc. Now i have to live with this problem. So what is my advise to you all. PLEASE don´t wait if you have any pain. Pain is always a sign of your body, that something is broken or not working properly. So go to the doctor if you have any problems. You only have one Body. Keep it healthy. Thanks to all which read this story till now. ^^
@@mastert43 man that's crazy that this coaster did this to your lumbar spine. I rode this thing in the early to mid 90s, when I was even younger than you. I can remember the forces in the looping but luckily enough, it did nothing but push my head towards my feet. And like you, I have prolapsed disc's and even had surgery. But then of course, I'm much older than you and in my case it's just a genetical weakness that's runs in my family.. Keep working on posture and the muscles around your spine and most importantly, stay active. Even if you might need surgery one day, if you keep working on your back you can probably have an active life with none to little pain. I recommend, do a lot of swimming and balance exercises, like slack lining for example. Climbing is really beneficial too.. Best of Luck
@@user-ve7hn2dh8h Thank you very much for your comment. I never thought someone would read it anyway ^^. Well my father had also some spine disc problems in his mid 20s so that could be a genetical weakness too. Sometimes it that one damaged disc still moves and keeps there for a while. A few weeks ago I had a "crack" in my back. I mean I was standing bent to the side. After visiting the osteopathic I could walk normal again. With enough back training and a good fitness everything is OK. For a while. But I give all I can, to stay healthy and to get over this.
I am currently laying on my bed with an horrible pain in my neck and back because of this ride. Do not do this after 40 years old - leave this looping at 5g for the youngsters
il est impossible de filmer. Enfin si, sauf si on veut déclencher un arrêt de l'attraction en cours de route et déranger tous les visiteurs dans l'ascenseur en brisant leur expérience.
I'm sure this ride used to go backwards? I loved it why did it change 😢 but still looks good been years since I've been and mum will be happy nautilus has been done up we thought that went ❤
How old is this coaster? I think I rode this with my big brother in 92 or 93 as a kid. All I can remember was worrying that I might be too short to be let in and the loop which pressed my head towards my feet being unable to lift it up to even see the track
The ride opened in 1993, it was build to compensate the late opening of Space mountain and should have been temporary. But they keep it and that's better like that. The loop is quiet intense I agreed 😂
Il devrait vraiment penser à nous offrir une vrai attraction Indiana Jones , comparé aux autres parc et même à nos attractions elle fait un peux tâche 😐
Les merveilleuses aventures sont de retour, MERCI.
my dad always talks about this ride and how he went on it backwards, got so scared he couldn't get off and went round a second time
The drug dealer on my street just died 😃

Just noticed the ducktales logo design was taken from Indiana Jones
Lol
Got a lot of headbanging when I rode it back in 2018. I know Intamin can do better.
I really loved this one😍

I went on this and I hated it so bad and the worst thing is I had my face painted
Lol Your face painted ? I've done this multiple times. It's scary cuz it goes fast
This really doesn't seem as bad as they say in the comments. But hey, I haven't been on it 🤷🏾
I am going to Disneyland next Monday
I honestly hate this coaster, it’s hard and horrible. When I went on it I LITERALLY FAINTED
It’s actually so good I was 11 when I went on it bc my friend forced me to go with her and I went bc it was her birthday

Nice coaster, just doesn’t have a disney feel to it!
I believe it does in some way.
@@DavidVitrano it’s not as good as the a while I’m one with the Boulder coming at u and the animatronics
@@legendsforever123Well if Disney makes this for Disneyland and Hollywood studios, they will definitely make the theming better.
