#PRORELFORUSA we need a merit based football pyramid in the USA! End Closed-League Division 1 Sanction! Let MLS operate without that sanction, allow franchises to buy out their shares to become independent football clubs
When USL has teams that can compete financially with MLS we can think about automatic promotion and relegation. It took the English leagues 99 years to open the pyramid and every step along the way was made primarily for business reasons. In the meantime if USL wants to create a D1 league and introduce pro/rel they have that option.

I’m sorry. But after this interview I find it to be a very difficult proposition.
