- Motorcycle Destination: Cherohala Skyway. The Cherohala Skyway is a 43-mile National Scenic Byway between Tellico Plains, TN (RT 165) and Robbinsville, NC (RT 143). The name comes from Cherokee and Nantahala, the two national forests through which it passes. Along the way you will see many overlooks of both beautiful states. I highly recommend the 90ft Bald River Falls along the way. If interested it will take to the back end of the notorious Tail of the Dragon as well as Moonshiner 28. #harleydavidson #cherohalaskyway #tennessee #northcarolina

Agreed 100% when we went to the dragon we took a day and rode that and moonshine 28 really liked the skyway
I only rode part of the Moonshiner 28 down to Franklin, NC. I need to finish that ride to SC. I love that it is not overly populated and the views are fantastic.

Man nothing like riding next to a water source. The falls were beautiful...We love waterfalls and would have been there all day just chillin'.

@@SinisterClutch we had to come home because of a death in the family. Doing good now and planing on hitting the road again in January (southbound) towards FL.

I've only rode the Cherohala Hwy once and I need to get back. Like Patrick, I didn't stop to see the waterfalls. Great job and very enjoyable scenic motovlog. Keep on truck'n!

First time I took my wife across the Cherohala, we found snow at the top!!
Wow! I got into some dense fog in the morning my first time and could hardly see the road.

Yeah it was a gorgeous day then. That waterfall was so loud but beautiful. I was hauling A$$ on that road and it was awesome!

I LOVE that road!! As many times as I’ve been across there, I’ve yet to stop at the falls…. That will change next time I ride it. Great ride along, and full of great information. The falls really are beautiful! Thanks for the ride, be well, Patrick
Rumor has it there going to redo the bridge in front of the waterfall so that it is safer for pedestrians. There is a lot of traffic there. The ride to the waterfall is nice and relaxing. Take care Patrick✌
