  • Riding their motorcycles home from a weekend stay at the historic Snowbird Mountain Lodge on the Cherohala Skyway, Wayne looks for a route to avoid riding the 4 lane highway or slogging through the congestion of downtown Franklin, North Carolina. Can he make the big town disappear? Watch as they wind through the small backroads south of town and try to avoid the traffic and congestion - #motorcycle #americaridesmaps #miles-by-motorcycle
IN THE NEXT EPISODE (#17) - • Ep 17 - Motorcycle Gea... - Wayne reviews 3 simple and inexpensive pieces of gear we've been using over the past couple seasons - A helmet liner, a neck gaiter, and a shirt for travel. Admittedly minor items yet a couple are now something we use every ride and suggest you look at to improve your riding comfort.
IN THE PREVIOUS EPISODE (#15) - • Ep. 15 - Snowbird NC ... - Wayne and Jackie make the classic Dragon / Cherohala loop ride and stop to see some sights both old and new. A good representation of what it's like to enjoy a motorcycle ride on these famous roads on a busy fall weekend in the Smoky Mountains.

Great video around my hometown. Just got moved back here and I am happy you are continuing to get the word word out about our wonderful riding paradise.
If you are ever back in town I can show you the missing link you could have done to avoid that little bit of traffic area. It would have added a few extra miles on nice roads.

Have you ever done a video on your bikes?

A video about the bikes we ride and why? That's not a bad idea, a good after fall season project. Thanks.

Great adventure! Log home, in the mountains, motorcycling for a living, and your wife rides her own bike with you. You sure do have it rough! We hope to be moving up to the area in less than a year God willing. I like the motovlogs. Have y’all ever eaten at Jimmy Macs in Bryson City? It is one of our favorites when we come up on our motorcycle trip every year.

I've not yet been to Jimmy Macs. I like the Cork & Bean, the brewery of course, there's a nice little winery. Bryson City has a lot to offer.

There's another way to do it that keeps you on even smaller and prettier roads but it takes a significant dive south then back. The key is crossing the rivers, there are only a few bridges.
