Great informative video my Brandon. My lake that I fish here in West Tennessee is low too. The crappie had moved out to deeper water for a while, but now I’m catching them in structure close to the bank. The crappie don’t have far to go though for deeper water. It’s still fun fishing even though you have to constantly change up your fishing tactics. Stay safe out there and thanks for the videos.
Enjoyed the drawdown content. I fish some lakes that aren’t drawn down and some lakes that are. My dad‘s sister lives on Lake Barkley in Canton Ky, and this definitely helps me realize how much the Crappie react to falling water. I have tried the crappy magnet jig some but I don’t know if I’ve used the 1/64 ounce jig head much. I know when water cools off the smaller profile baits seem to work best for me. Whether is the small size minnows or jig size.
Brandon that’s some nice looking fish. I’m hoping to get out by Thursday on High Rock lake in North Carolina. Man I sure enjoyed the video as usual. Thanks for sharing.
I always look forward to your crappie videos, and I like how you show us your rig and set up. I will be getting some 1/64 jig heads before 😂go to lake Barkley in November.
Draw down, lol. Where I fish mostly for crappie is Elephant Butte Reservoir here in NM. The water level right now is 37 feet lower than it was 6 months ago and 27 feet less then it was 3 months ago. I'm constantly looking for where they went. But have fished them enough to know by now
Having bass following you around is a great thing considering your line of work. Question please do you use a tungsten weight or regular lead split shot. I was thinking a tungsten would show up a little better on a FFS. Thanks again for your videos
@@jefferylyons4774 I use regular lead split shots but have used tungsten slip sinkers with bobber stops and they work fine too. I can’t tell a difference in how they show up on FFS though.
Black crappie can be the pickeist of them all they can be done right lock jawed at times but when they on they on!! i fish crappie tournaments i know all about tough bites lol ive seen it all just about ive been at it along time to NOT saying im a expert by no means but ive been at it 40+ years still never gets old if i catch 100 just wanna go catch 100 more lol and i keep very little lol ..good show man 👊
It would be great if you could put "Active Captain" on your videos. It allows your viewers to see your forward facing sonar while you're fishing. I enjoy your videos!
Good morning ! Mr. Brandon. I will appreciate it so much if you will answer my question please. What are your 2 best colors of the crappie magnets bodies split tails for stain / light stain water and what are your 2 best colors of the crappie magnets bodies split tails for muddy water also please. May the lord be in your heart today to answer all of my questions and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your UA-cam channel in 2024 please 🙏 ! Can you please do a catch and cook crappie UA-cam videos from your home in 2024 👍

@@elkbow that will move them around😂. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another great video! You may have already said and I missed it, but how do crappie on brush respond to the Fall turnover?
@@kevinkirby2332 if the water gets real dirty it will move them. Especially if they don’t have to move too far to get in better water quality.

It's crappie time!! Do you rig your Impulse batteries yourself or use a dealer for the install? I need some new batteries in TN.
@@Storriesmith I put mine in myself. Very easy to install but if you have any issues you can call them anytime. They will be glad to help you.
Do you know when the 7 or 8# braid from vicious will be available.
@@billybarnes318 it is on the way! The port strikes slowed it down but should be back in stock any day.

Can't ever go wrong with the "Percy" color no matter what color the water is🤷🏾🎣
