You are still the best RC channel by far Vas. You got me back into RC almost 10 years ago when I started watching your vids. For the record, I liked the older intro. That jingle was yours and no one else's. Remember that crazy bird that attacked your airplane? That was crazy! You are the King of UA-cam RC. I used to never buy a car without watching your review 1st and you introduced the US to Hobbyking. Hobbyking just practically dropped the cars I don't know why. I dare say that Arrma was born out of your video reviews, especially your driving vids of the Typhon and Talion at the BMX track. You made the vehicles appear so easy to drive and so much fun. I know I'm right because I was there and am still here. Nothing but love for you and your family from Austin, Texas Vas!
Converted the original MV to 4000kv brushless and it's a lot of fun. Took a while to get it reliable, stop the shocks leaking and tune the suspension. It was pretty tough last year but seemed to break everything this year, I think the plastic gets brittle when it's colder outside. I went for oil filled 4 gear diffs and 350cst oil in the shocks, plus a load of shims to make the driveline run properly. The standard MV driveline is made of poor materials and the lack of adjustment on the gear mesh means most users kill the spur on the first run. The VE addresses some of this, though I still doubt it has the shims in from the DBX buggy that originally used the driveline. The first MV just missed the mark for many and parts supply issues have been really bad around the world. It's a shame, as they can be really good. When its running and the outside temperature is warm, the MV is great fun but it can be fragile and frustrating. For body mounts and wheels, check out the Fazer 2.0 off road racer, it's the same chassis with a different body. The front posts for example are lower (different part no). The on road stuff also uses the same chassis with different parts, so may help.
@@AussieRCPlayground I am not one for adapters all my RCs are EC3 or EC5. This being a 60AMP ESC you think it would be OK with 3S 5500mAh 60C lipo with a Deans to EC5 adapter on it for that battery and not burn up the adapter? On the Arrma 6S rigs and the 150/160A Firma ESC we have seen adapter smoke. Thx Sir appreciate your work from Memphis, TN in the US
Deans will be fine on 3S, it's when you run 4S or more that it becomes an issue. The other alternative is to chance the Deans connector to EC3 or EC5. No adapters required then. 🙂 Thank you heaps for the support. 👍
@@AussieRCPlayground One last question Sir. I enjoyed your review on the Losi DB Pro on 2S and 3S and bought one. I personally like AVC so it hits a straight line in the dirt and not spin 360s. I have a spare Spektrum AVC rx that I can put in the new Mad Van on 2S. My question since you ran a Mad Van and thinking of the Losi DB Pro with AVC how you think it would be for the Mad Van?
The unadjustable body posts are kind of a bummer. I too wouldn't want to ruin this gorgeous body. Just go with the shell of the brushed version as it should fit without any issue and also looks cool while not being as expensive as the ve-brushless one. Would really like to have this one too, but kyosho part availability is always a problem in Germany.
I have had one of those ESC in use on several of my 1/10 and i have had it for years, granted i only use my RC buggies in summer months but i have put that ESC through the mincer and beasted it on 3s. MOst reliable ESC i have had so far apart from maybe the Hobbywing EZRUN WP-SC8 that i only just got this summer and run in my Redcat volcano pro,,, good fun with strong alloy A arms and HPI stainless steel 83 mm dog bones as the original were like spagetti....
I really like the kyosho cars, this looks beautiful with the candy apple red . When we painted real cars in that colour they would give the owner spare paint ,very hard to match it again. Great review Vas, I'm never disappointed with the kyosho cars.
Thanks Peter. It's definitely a beautiful truck and it's nice to see Kyosho pumping out some really cools cars lately. I'm hoping to get more in the future. 😎
Thanks for the great over view mate. The van looks epic and pretty sure I'm all over it once we get them here in NZ. Or maybe I'll import one myself they are that cool. Looking forward to the driving review.
Hay Bass I have been a sub of yours for a long time. On my new UA-cam account now though. Seeing I hand to make a new account all your AC carnage videos have come up for me to re watch . I want to know seeing you all are back open and off lock down are you guys going to go back to doing them.. I love it
@@AussieRCPlayground I tried finding another body that would work for this I think they have a brown one and a gray one on brushed models.. but can't find them anywhere
The top half of the rear body posts can be removed, but it's still to high to allow the Proline body to sit straight. It's going to require some modding, unfortunately.
What a bummer they ruined the body with that wheeliebar🤦🏻♂️ Seems there would be a better solution for it instead of destroying a perfect looking kit...

That would just be my shelf queen
They've absolutely nailed the aesthetics with this one. It's properly stunning looking.
Agreed. It's one of the better looking trucks out there, for sure. 😎

Got mine the other day. Already tore the body in the open area for the wheelie bar. Lost a tail light. Awesome on 3s.
What a stunning looking truck that is Vas,kudos to Kyosho for this one.
This is the best review I’ve seen yet!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
Very nice, I bet lights really step it up even more . Thanks for the video 🏁🏁.
I can't wait for mine to arrive!! Looking forward to this one for sure. Glad I ended up ordering one

I have 2 of the original ones, one brushless and one stock.
They are brilliant, so much fun.
Looks like fun 🤩 Vas. Can I put in a request for the next video to be RC CARNAGE!!! Always liked those race videos.

wow this van looks amazing!
Nice truck there Jana.
Im pretty sure its built on the FAZER Mk2 platform.. Should allow you to get body posts and such.. Maybe check it out :)
With that Chevron style tire if you turn them around back wards they work so much better. 👍✌️
Scooby Doo , Mystery Machine. Kool lookin van . Nice video Vas 👍
Good lookin truck reminds me of the lunch box. Flip the tires so the tread pattern is back wards get better grip

That thing looks awesome mate very exciting unboxing
That is one seriously good looking RC! 🤘🏻🔥💥
Cheers Vas 👍🤓🇦🇺
Wicked video. Best Info as Always. I want one. 👍💪
hey vas hope you all are well ...... no backflips with this bodyshell lol ... looks cool 👍👍👍
That's gorgeous👌👍
Yeah, that bodies too nice to ruin. Looks like an awesome little package.
I like the Optima und Optima Turbo much more. Have both and Kit is fun to put together
Give the tires a chance. They work well as an all purpose tire.
Check the running video here

Looks real nice. Strange you get a turnbuckle wrench and have no buckles to adjust.
Haha, so true. But still, good to have.
looks good !
Can you run a 3S lipo on that stock motor/Esc setup? Or only 2S? Thanks..
I believe it can run 3S as well. I'll try it out, so I'll confirm that later on. 😉
@@AussieRCPlayground Awesome! Sounds good! Thanks, & cheers!
I have a brand new one in a box.. my other one I beat the crap out of.. they are a blast. I cringed the first time I flipped it.. They are gorgeous.
They are indeed. I need to find a way to put a different body on mine so I keep the stock body in new condition. 🙂

Really good video 👍🏻👍🏻 Got one ordered. So is that sticker sheet full of stickers ? Can’t see them is why I ask 🤣
Yes, the sticker sheet is full of stickers.
Thank you just could’ve see them so thought I’d check
Might be me, but the rear body posts, aren't they able to be split? So you can use the body you showed before?
The top half of the rear body posts can be removed, but it's still to high to allow the Proline body to sit straight. It's going to require some modding, unfortunately.
@@AussieRCPlayground ah oké, it seemed unlikely you overlooked that, but yeah. Let us know if you get a mod for it. Thnx
with almost similar money(in my area), this or team associates rival mt10(with battery and charger)?
maybe anyone can advise?
This car run on 3S?
Great
Those tyres would work better off road if you reversed them. Wouldn't look as scale obviously but ok if your not fussed
Send it 🌙 😆
Think you you do
?? 🤔
Think you do so we do not waste money on rc
Still have no idea what this is about... 🤷♂️
Stay off the drugs
I got one last week. Front dog one fell off first run, then a wheel hex screw came out and wheel feel off? Was only in back yard. Not bashing.
That's unfortunate, I'll be sure to check mine before I run it. Thanks for the info. 👍
I always put a little locktite on my wheel nuts before first run or at least tighten them down ab little just in case as a precaution
What a bummer they ruined the body with that wheeliebar🤦🏻♂️

I’m touching your base
Confused... 🤔
