何事もきちんとしていて几帳面で勤勉なのが日本人、と思うのは、ランビエールだけではなく、多くの西洋人の感想でしょう。
「空気を読んで相手に同調する」日本社会の人間関係の面倒な面は、簡単には外国人には理解できないものね。
ランビエールは、いい意味でそういう日本的な人間関係を超えてフランクで人間的に暖かいから、そのことが、宇野選手や島田選手ら、日本人選手達にも伝わるといいですね。
ジュニアだった頃にはカルチャーショックを受けていた、とどこかのインタビューで言っていましたが、今回はそのようなことは言っていなかったと思います。スイス人と日本人のメンタリティーには似ているものがある、と言っていたと理解しています。このファンミーティングは毎年出演しているミュージックオンアイスというショーに出演していた時に行われました。ショーのサイトです。 www.musiconice.com/en/home_en.php
