Victor decides on a whim to go to Japan to coach him and the rest is History .
Nefretiri T not to spoil too much but it is about competitive figure skating and there is a teacher-student gay relationship between a skater and his coach (albeit it is quite subtle and not the main part of the series which is a nice way to normalize it) it also has the characters facing anxiety and such things Stephane and Deniss do give off Victor and Yuuri relationship vibes but for me it's more platonic and brotherly than the characters xD
I understand Victor vibes on Stephane but I don't think there's any similarity between Yuuri and Deniss to be honest. Deniss is just a kid, full of enthusiasm, still growing up and with a bright future. Yuuri is a fully grown adult going through the path of self-discovery during the last stage of his competitive career. Also can we not ship real people that have an already established (and actually genuine) mentor/pupil relationship in real life? especially when there's a minor involved. Thanks
