No way was that first one in Russia. The aircraft is a DC-6 belonging to Everts Air Cargo based in Fairbanks, Alaska. I believe this accident happened at a place called Candle in Alaska and the aircraft hit a ridge near the runway threshold which tore the right main landing gear off.
Yeah everything about that clip was wrong , it was at candle mine airstrip, and it wasn’t an emergency, the airstrip is short and the pilot undershot the threshold and hit a pile of gravel. And it wasn’t a gravel road lol it was an actual airstrip. Dude just seen remoteness and just ran with it. The blue canoe as that particular DC-6 was called still remains at candle lake I believe.
I'm surprised that this comment doesn't have a bunch of whiny but hurt fans lol.
I'm glad that there are people that hold others responsible for misinformation. Good work.
I appreciate you giving us that correct information. I do this when I am aware poster's give wrong information. Many times I get lashbacks from the posters fans.
@@seancarter6492 I admit I'm something of a nerd when it comes to aircraft stuff. I watch loads of videos from this channel and they're excellent quality, so I can easily forgive him one mistake !
@@davidfarrow875 naw man we're all inclined to be nerdy about SOMETHING lol. Also, I'm sure he's right the majority of time, but misinformation is misinformation. You were respectful in your correction. Respect, man.
Great explanation of what wheels are for.
Lol
That first gear-up landing was definitely not a Cessna, but a Piper Aerostar.....
Yea Cessna have high wings
Yeah it’s a Piper
@@TheRealityfades twin Cessnas are all low wing. The Piper Aerostar in the clip is however mid-wing
I thought this was a Cessna 402C.
@@TheRealityfades Just realised my mistake. The C337 is a high wing twin but the engines are tandem, one in the nose and one in the aft. Strange I missed that as I have e few hundred hours in the type.
Boeing executives hoping they're not featured in this video.
😂😂😂 best comment ever!
I hate these Boeing jokes
It's not Boeing fault united airlines and Alaska airlines don't know what the word maintenance is
@@Katelyn_Editz88 the Alaska one was kinda Boeings fault
First time I actually laughed at a comment 😂
UA-cam scraper with wrong info.
Bro just carry on don't comment
That blue DC-6 wasn’t in RUSSIA! It was a kids band called HANSON and they were attempting a comeback concert in the only plane they could afford. The venue was a senior center in Florida. The people watching were the 8 that bought tickets 🎟️. Everything turned to SHIT and the band self immolation !
Great video Thank-you 👍
Keep em comin' I love these videos
*These unbelievable scenes made me very impressed and excited, the images and video comments are very good. LIKE a lot, guys*
First video happened in Alaska, not Russia. It was result of pilot error not emergency. Not that hard to verify.
Alaska or Russia notwithstanding, a pilot would scarcely land on a dirt road unless in an emergency...
@@benedictdesilva6677 you should familiarize yourself with flying in Alaska, pilots use dirt roads as landing strips constantly. Anyways, this is a dirt air strip.
@@TheN747 Makes sense-thanks for the clarification. Though in fairness to the pilot, one should be chary about attributing the landing gear failure *entirely* to pilot error.
@@benedictdesilva6677 the pilot flew too low and failed to clear an obvious obstacle. Thus he sheared the gear off of the aircraft. It wasn’t gear failure it was pilot error. If you crash your car into a tree is it your cars fault for not stopping before it hits the tree? No, it’s you’re for not maintaining control of your vehicle.
I dont think it was a good idea to watch this 3 weeks before having an ultra long haul flight to New zealand.
This person best recheck his facks on a few of these stories!!!😮
I just love the people who keep filiming instead of helping others out of the wreckage - gotta be a youtube star I guess
Thank you, Underworld. I like your narrating/voice.
It's fake AI narration!
Amazing video 🤜🏾

MD80 + low cost airline= 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
1:18 “that’s why we think this was an emergency” yeah no shit Sherlock.
2:03 “he boarded his private Cessna plane” do you say “Toyota car” too? Plus that’s not a Cessna, it’s an Aerostar 601
14:36 “just be happy you weren’t on this cheap flight” the crash had nothing to do with the flight being cheap.
Thank God for the fast forward button.
The passengers exiting the Dominican plane with their carry on luggage is a recipe for disaster.
Everybody like this comment!😊

Flying 100 miles with bent props? I call BS!
Agreed
Yes indeed, and the engine tear down after a prop strike is going to be $$$$ expensive !!
I love your videos, keep them comming! 🙂

@@IAW88 You sound like the dude, watching the plane slam into the snowbank and yelling "HOO-HOO!"
This is a great video
Narrator doesn't have his details straight 😂
Please. Expound.
13:00 mins. Reversing the engine thrust is procedure for slowing a plane for landing a passenger plane, so the pilot would have been doing this anyway, not just because he had crashed.
Most crashes are caused by pilot error, poor maintenance/inspection, design flaws and component failure, i.e. a blade on the turbofan having a flaw which occurred during manufacture and which only showed itself when it ultimately failed. However, too many of these accidents are caused by poor maintenance and cost-cutting.
The plane that was in the third clip. He got the airport wrong. It was Saint Barley with the wrong way and landed the wrong way. Supposed to be going down over the mountain.
wow good video
#5 The Airport fire trucks got there before the first person came down the slide! Impressive! #4 Nice to see the usual selfish fools getting off with luggage, that's more important than the people behind them! Pathetic
The aircraft was landing with an emergency situation, because of the previous attempt and damage. The fire department pre positioned the trucks along the runway for faster response time.
You know what the funny part is, the people in the video were complaining that the fire trucks were taking too long.
"Low cost" isn't generally an indicator of quality.
Yeah it is. "You get what you paid for" is a very common saying and it holds true.... 99.99% of the time.
@@willam9421 What I meant was that it's not an indicator of "good" quality.
8:18 that is why u wait for the plane to stop safely before clapping...lmao
The narrator is a pedant😢
Great video apart from the last clip, Flight Simulation.
As an aircrew member I am happy to say I have never experienced any landing like the ones shown in this video.
Not yet.
@@NS5_USRDid you really have to say that?
@@DeadlyKiss000 no but it’s just true.
@@NS5_USR And it's true that there are times when you just don't say things
What possible PRACTICAL value is it to know the aircraft was 24 years old?
Bro has no aviation facts down
Fire was in the wing, not the right engine, which is at the rear of the fuselage.
landing gears???
Awesome
A landing is a success if you walk out of it. That is a saying in the pilot world.
It's up there with the mantra: "Taking off is optional, but landing is mandatory."
landing gear is not plural...gears
And planes don-t have "rear thrusters" either...
meant gear IS plural
There is no such thing on this aircraft as rear thrusters. The engines do have a reverse thrust setting. But there are no thrusters..
The plane that ran into the snow bank. He cane in and floated too far down the runway, and then touched down. No way to stop then. He looks like he was a little high and faster than normal.
#9 was NOT a Cessna, it was a Piper Aerostar 601P... that is more than likely the reason it was able to get airborne again, and survive.
10:16 the fact it’s a special lovery
That’s crazy 😮
"Landing gears are the gears that come down from the belly of the plane"...
Who knew???
You explain What a landinggear is? Wow i didnt know ..
Holy balls that first one - the people were standing way too close I thought they were gonna get decapitated o.o
"But, if you must CLAP..." wdym by that?🤨
People carrying their hand luggage during an evacuation should be heavily fined or even prosecuted for putting others in danger 😠
Number #4 Crashed on my birthday
bro,Russian don't have a dc-6
Every landing where you come out alive is a good landing... 😅
Hello Underworld whats the Name of the Soundtrack!
6:54 dont hate but this is just outa context 😂😂😂😂
Awsome
If you enjoyed this video 17:29. Not really, but I’m already a subscriber 😂
5:50 the back passenger came out first, wow 🤦🏻♂️
I thought the Lion Air one was gonna be the 737 Max crash.
Latam crash occurred in Florianópolis not in São Paulo. Airport was closed for 5 days
2:11 Pilot said he was doing a go around and had raised the gear out of camera's view. Plane continued to descend to the runway because he had raised the flaps.
On a go around you apply full throttle. Then why do you obviously hear the engine rpm increase after the props hit and the flaps are down.
NO NOT THE A330😢
Irony= Your plane hydroPlaning 😂
Great video as always but I cannot agree with the opening statement that pilots know what to do when something goes wrong, as history has proven that human error (mostly pilots) are to blame for many crashes!
I flew with Turkish Airlines once, well, twice (to/from), when I visited Antalya a decade ago.
The flying and landing parts were smooth with no incidents, but the crew working the cabin were the least serviceminded individuals I've ever encountered in any setting.
Every single one of the ladies working the cabin acted like they'd prefer being anywhere other than at work and if you dared talking to them, it was as if you insulted them deeply on a personal level😂
Love these vids but what is that frequency behind your voice it’s ear grating 😭
85 is too old to fly.
สงสาร ทุกอุบัติเหตุ จริงๆ กับความสูญเสีย😢😢😢
2:14 did that cessna 172 farted!?😂😂😂😂😂
No
The one in the alps, I'd have a heart attack just regular landing
'Without the landing gear... crashing'
Is that really necessary?
Nobody builds planes without landing gear.
Ever heard of the Wright Brothers?
hi
At least the left engine was on fire too
0:32 ain’t no way a helicopter is landing on a runway
People from red air screaming as if they were dying 💀🤣
*These unbelievable scenes made me very impressed and excited, the images and video comments are very good. LIKE a lot, guys*
Always maintenance issues. Not manufacturers issues.
15 seconds into this I realized this is the aviation clickbait channel that gets so much wrong. I have used the "not interested" option but UA-cam still recommends this channel.
May Sloan's holy soul be at eternal rest.
Hi
Lessons learned
I don’t wanna give out. Private info but 2:00 is my Bday!!
Turning 12!!
What about the Air India express crushed in Kerala, India.
Landing "gears"? Jesus Christ.
1:09 WAIT FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
You don’t need to say Cessna “plane”. It is just a Cessna
It wasent even a cessna
أهم شيئ سلامت الناس والصيانة ضرورية
I call shenanigans. At least 4 of them, were much worse.
That first one is a load of shit. The aircraft was a charter in Alaska landing on a dirt runway not in Russia. The guys waiting were waiting for the aircraft, hell you can see the fuel tank they were standing by. Do better research.
*These unbelievable scenes made me very impressed and excited, the images and video comments are very good. LIKE a lot, guys*
great video but why tf is literally every single text blurred
even logos
To avoiding copyright infringement
Around the 9min 44 sec mark as the plane has fire or sparks coming from bottom the work crew (they had the digger not rescue crew)where working like nothing was happening or like that happened 10 times a day because they did not stop at all
Spin-out translated is Ground-loop.
2:05 why would you take back off? Those props have to bent to hell!
These are the many reasons I will not fly. I refuse.
None of this is true. First clip: Not Russia, but Alaska. And not an emergency landing on a road, but a botched landing on a dirt runway. Second clip is not a Cessna but a Piper Aerostar. And the pilot definitely forgot to extend the gear before landing. The narrator has it all wrong and is simply making this stuff up for views.
you deserve more clout, i reported this video multiple times, and thanks to you, u make this a better place
You automatically get a thumbs down since they don’t give us the middle finger option
How did Russia get a 90s f250?
"Pilot knew they were in trouble so he activated the rear thrusters" so many things wrong with this sentence.
So many things wrong with this entire video!
The thubmail picture is from DHL Flight 7216, the aircraft suffered a hydraulic failure, and crashed on landing at the Costa Rican airport. I did not see that footage in this video.
It´s not. The plane on the thumbnail is the Red Air flight ( NR.4 ). DHL 7216 was a 757.
@@myname9733 Seems like Underworld changed the thumbnail. When the video was posted, they originally had DHL 7216. I recognized the picture and the mountains as I live in Costa Rica.
Dominican is a beautiful airline but my country do not change aircraft xd
First and thank you for this amazing video ❤
That first video is not russian its an everts air cargo dc6
