I don’t want it to sound like hyperbole, but you’re genuinely one of the best UA-camrs I’ve been fortunate enough to find. The passion and effort that I heavily respect and strive toward. I love the authenticity you bring, it’s gotten me through some stuff I didn’t expect anyone to understand. Sorry for the long mf comment but yeah, keep it up.
Probably Like Him is my most favorite song, other besides the heavy hitters like Sticky, Thought I Was Dead, Rahtahtah, St. Chroma, and Noid. Because although my dad is not completely absent in my life, but most of the time I grew up with my sister being take care of by our mother while my dad is still working in abroad. Tyler, can make another song where he gave his dad a middle finger, but no instead it's something he accepts and his mother trying to apologize to Tyler is really just heartwarming and sad to hear. It felt like a sombre relief for Tyler's seeking out with his fatherless issues from all this years.
Vulnerability is scary I often wonder whether people will like or love the real me I've worn my mask for so long that I have forgotten who I am without it well I will try your advice and I will try to figure out who I am hopefully I'm not a bad person
Tyler won’t ever beat FB for me, but this came pretty close. I really don’t mind that it’s less experimental (besides, I think it bangs from start to finish), if anything, it lends to you looking more into the lyrics for that risk; more than ever does it feel like the intent is to change people with the music-one of the songs is literally called “Take Your Mask Off.” This is absolutely his MMATBS. Really great analysis, as always.
