I wonder why you havent added like a 2nd base inside. It could help you to get the poop out quicker just like a litter scoop, but this could be the size of the litter. You could get all the poop out in one scoop.

My idea many years ago. A ventilated cat litter box but never got around to making one . Basically the same thing with out the other electronics or the light. Now the only thing left to do is make it self cleaning.
