Full coverage of the final of the women's -57kg judo event at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Judo made its very first appearance at the Olympic Games in 1964 in Tokyo. However, it was not included in the Olympic programme in 1968 in Mexico City, but returned, never to leave again, at the 1972 Games in Munich. As for women's judo, it was added to the Games in 1992 in Barcelona.
Men and women now compete in seven weight categories. There was originally a men's category open to all weights, but this event was withdrawn after the 1984 Games in Los Angeles.

過去にも未来にも強い選手沢山いるんだろうけど、こんな闘志溢れる選手もう見れない。
期間中は生理が来なくなるくらいに自分が女性であることを忘れるらしいですが、勝って試合が終わった後福山雅治に抱き締められた瞬間、女性に戻ったっていうエピソード好き笑
10年経ってもずっと印象に残ってる選手。目付きから他と違いすぎてた。

いぜんメダリスト達が出演するトーク番組で「私は自分の闘志を押さえるために奮い立たせている」って話してた。メダリストまで行った人達も、え～闘志をあげるためにやってるんじゃないんだ～って笑いながら感心していた。野獣も今はママ、綺麗で優しくてでも子供を守るときはいつでも野獣になると言っていた松本さん素敵です。

それまでの代表選手がことごとく敗れて、どうなるんだろうと不安になった。次の瞬間、松本選手が画面に映った。物凄い形相をしていた。立ちはだかる者すべてを見境なく食らいそうな、狼の眼。このひとならやってくれる、と思った。

I’ve never done Judo don’t really know why I’m watching, but it does not look difficult: I’m sure it is and that they are top level judo. But does not look too hard.
Professionals at the top of their game make most things look easy.
Because they don't create openings. The slightest mistake will lose you the match, just that since they don't make any you can't see how easy it is to lose.
You will not find it easy. I can guarantee you that.

Actually i would find more appropriate to talk about how the romanian lost an Olympic medal for disqualification (since all of us know what's allowed and what It Is not in judo - and that Is NOT allowed) insted of commenting with some sort of unfair nonsense the Matsumoto gold medal because IT IS OBVIOUS THAT IT DIDN'T DEPEND ON HER... You are looking at that from the wrong point of view

外国人選手は常に日本選手から場外注意を狙って誘い、ポジショニング修正している。日本選手はすぐに誘われて罠に嵌る。愚かすぎるよね。中央で戦うように仕向ければいいだけの話だろうに・・。
