  • Today we will show you how to clean, lubricate and protect the AR15|M16|M4 pattern rifle/carbine using a single-bottle CLP. We will show you how to disassemble, clean, lube and reassemble the AR-pattern rifle, including a full breakdown of the bolt carrier group [BCG].
    12:55 BCG Disassembly, Cleaning, Reassembly
The US military uses CLP for weapons maintenance, but our general experience with the military-issued CLP was not particularly good. Many times, we had to resort to creative, alternate measures to get the weapons clean enough to pass the CO’s stringent “white glove” inspections. So we decided to make our own, vastly-superior, citrus-powered synthetic CLP at Adiga Armory.

As a first time AR owner, this was hands down the best video I saw out of about a dozen. Thank you so much for this

Well done. A clean weapon is a happy weapon. An Angry Ranger has nothing but happy weapons!😁
Seriously, a well thought out presentation, and so grateful to hear you reinforce having no need to drench the weapon with oil/CLP, and employ a light coat. Thank you!👍

For sure... we want happy guns, not happy Rangers... that would just be wrong. 😁

@@adigaarmory Seriously, using Adiga Armory CLP on my M4 clone is a wise choice. Super easy clean up. Great lubrication that does not attract filth. And extended use without failure. Yup, Adiga Armory CLP does work.. Thanks.👍

Just purchased my first AR and this process seems daunting... I hope I'm up for it.

Thanks for the video. So many others show the most complicated process they could, and I just wanted a simple cleaning video that I could easily replicate at home.

Thanks for the great info. Been almost 20 years since I last shot an M16. Building my first two AR's, glad to know I can still use good ole' CLP.

Nice video. The bolt assembly doesn't look all that difficult to teardown.

Excellent and informative as videos on this channel always are. Quick question, what is the temperature range of the CLP? Thank you

    • @adigaarmory
      @adigaarmory  3 роки тому +4

Great question. Standard recommended temp ranges are -60° F to 500° F ... the solvents will evaporate at a lower flash point, but the remaining synthetic base has a boiling point over 600° F.

doesn't using the magnetic tray risk adding a magnetic charge to your bcg parts?

Like to here your opinion on using synthetic diesel motor oil to lube my AR’s ??? It’s served me well but always open for people more knowledgeable.

Good evening, could you please preview the english subtitles under the Screen for educational or tutorial purposes? We are watching your channel from Jordan, we use English as a foreigne Language, hence we are required to know and understand each single part in the rifle. I am a beginner interpreter with the American Army. Thank you

High temp wheel bearing grease. You can get a tub from any auto parts store. Use sparingly

Glad you subbed, but if you can't take a joke, or get overly sensitive or offended easily about things that all normal humans do, I would not recommend following our channel.
