    Awesome! but how to do one-to-many join in arcgis pro? thx

    • @GIScienceRIT
      @GIScienceRIT  3 роки тому

      you might consider doing a relate
      pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/add-relate.htm
      Also, this outlines "How To: Create a one-to-many join in ArcMap" (the older software) but all of these tools still exist in ArcGIS Pro so follow the instructions and use the tools accordingly

      thanks!

    HI,
    I am trying to join tables with a one to many relationship.
    I need to symbolise using the data in the many relationships (stand alone table) but it can't. How best can I navigate that. I tried and I failed.
    When I join, I lose data in the output table and my results end up not being significant. How can I do a 1:M join.
    I will be so grateful for your kind help.

      Check the settings you're using when you set up a join oh, you should have an option to do a one-to-many relationship when you run the join

      @@GIScienceRIT I am using arcgis pro, but when you do a join you lose data which affects the significance of your results.

    • @GIScienceRIT
      @GIScienceRIT  3 роки тому

      If you're losing data that could be that you don't have matching data double check that your columns in the two tables are the same

    • @okotelvincent
      @okotelvincent 3 роки тому

      @@GIScienceRIT the primary table has single record for each key in the secondary table which has multiple records of same in the first table
