Joins and Relates in ArcGIS

Hey whats up everybody, welcome in the 8th section, in this section we are gonna talk about joining two tables. So lets suppose we have one feature class and one Excel Sheet, CSV, Database file...etc, by using joining we can transfer data from the table into our feature class.
Lets get started.....

I did the join but in arc map had changed the format, I mean the information about date now is data string. Please, can you help me?

I wanna work with dates so I need only dates on my information

Be sure you have the right format in excel table, because if you have a single space Arcmap will recognize that field as String, not as Date. So i suggest to create an empty field (date as datatype) and be sure you have an excel table with cleaned date (dd/mm/yyyy). Than the transfer will be 100% applied.

how to unjoin?

1 - Right Click to the layer joined/related
2 - Point to Joins and Relates
3 - Remove Joins or Relates, you can remove your joined/related table
