Beat 'em ups and fighting games are my favorite genres. Double Dragon was something my brothers, cousins, and I were all super into growing up, and have kept up with the series. I hope this will be good. I'm not sold on it being 3D, and the art style is a bit off. Billy, Jimmy, and I'm assuming that's the Shadow Boss? They look like King of Fighters characters. But I trust Arc System Works.
I loved Double Dragon when I was a kid too. A friend of mine had found the Double Dragon arcade machine at the college nearby and he showed me that you could kick the machine to make quarters come out lmao. We spent all the free quarters playing the game but were eventually kicked out and told not to come back. When I got my NES, the first games I asked for were Double Dragon, Blaster Master, and Castlevania. Got all 3 for my next birthday since they were cheap used. This is sounding pretty cool. Gotta admit though, I would have loved some gorgeous pixel art like what's in Shredders Revenge.
When double dragon turns into an SNK beat’em up 👍🏾 No Switch version but an Xbox ONE version is complete bizarre. Make a game for a dead console verses one with a HUGE install base to make money on… The only thing that would make sense if it comes to the Switches successor but still, a publisher should not ignore the Switches install base.
I'm not big on graphics long as the gameplay is there I don't even care if it looks like a n64 game it's nice to have good graphics but if it plays good and has a good fighting mechanics I'm in
What are the video game gods going to do about the Rage of the Dragon characters the last true official Double Dragon game for Neo Geo that version of Jimmy and Billy looks very good.
I don't like the look. Glad a new one is coming back but this looks really meh. Kinda wish they got the looks and vibes of River City Girls. Or just let them make a Double Dragons Sequel.

Plus the best Double Dragon game that's out that none of the Double Dragon games aren't touching is called ..... #1 Ultimate Double Dragon , Easily #1 best Double Dragon game out , then #2) Might be Double Dragon Gaiden , the Mayor is the Illusionist Master .... but again - #1) Ultimate Double Dragon ( Easy ) wins & then ... #2) Double Dragon Gaiden

Yes grew up with this kind of game. Contra, double dragon, street of rage/bareknuckle, golden axe, final fight, tmnt, battle toads.
I thought it was Duke too or the Lees' dad, but I think that is Raymond of the Five Emperors from Advanced.
Given that it's Arc Systems... I would have loved Double Dragon in that 2D anime style of Guilty Gear Strive

This is about as much _"Double Dragon"_ as _Streets of Rage 4_ was a proper _Streets of Rage._ It doesn't look bad… It's just not… the same.
