I'm just getting into the Warlord aircraft games and am most interested in how they are painted and your videos are excellent. I actually went out and bought the Blue handle with some extra caps so I could possibly paint multiple planes at once. I do have a question.. What is the best way to attach the models to the handle?... It looks like you insert a Pushpin into the plastic model... Is that a good recommendation?... Thank you

Hi Sean, yep I just used a pin from a cork notice board. I heated the pin end with a lighter and pressed it in the socket when the flying stand goes (insert obvious safety message here for anyone reading this, the safer option is to drill a small hole).

@@MiniatureRealms Thank you for the great response. I also noticed the pre-mixed oil wash and found it on eBay so added that to my collection. I've looked at the video about 5 times and can't decide if you used a primer before adding the primary colors. It looks like you used a black primer but I can't tell. I am getting back into modeling so its been a while. I thought of using a grey primer but I wonder what your thought on this is... As I said before, love your videos and big Mahalo for your channel.

Would a wider brush be a better idea for cleaning the oil wash?

Use whatever size you feel comfortable with, I’m using a small one on here as I want the smaller streaks to show up slightly. For larger scale miniatures I often use sponge for removing oils.

That’s coming fairly soon. I have painting tutorials lined up towards the end of April/start of May for that.

    Well done!!
Always better to go lighter on smaller scale…
(Just add a little red square around the gun ports 😉)
Keep up the grest content )
More BRS stuff coming to my channel soon

Lovely work mate, I've never actually seen premixed oil washes ... thats interesting. Not sure if the drying time would work for me as I get ants in my pants when I'm in the mood to paint 🤣

Cheers dude. You can speed up the dry time with a hairdryer, and they dry super quick in the sun outside (probably about 5 mins before they melt for you 😂).

@MiniatureRealms LOL, great point, it'll dry in no time here ... bloody 40c! I'm walking around in my pants!!
I'll definitely look into some oil washes as I love the weathered look you can achieve too.
