Picked up a copy of the train, train station and mushroom house. I found that after clicking pre-order and being sent to LEGO site, jumping back to Bricklink to pick second set, return to LEGO site then repeating once more then all 3 sets were purchased as a single order.
Great video. Architecture is my favourite theme, and hugely underrated. I have 49 different sets of the 60 ever released, and they've been great long term investments - Berlin and Venice (£24.99) now worth £200+ and amongst the best Lego ROI's of the last 10-15 years. The size and relatively low price of many Architecture sets makes them perfect for long term holds. They're small and easy to store, the boxes are very sturdy/stackable, and they'll be easy to pack and ship. Not sure if New York, Paris or London will be quick earners, as these must be amongst the most bought Lego sets of all time of any theme (and have been regularly discounted), but they will probably be good long term bets. I wish I'd focused purely on Architecture, instead of the many other themes/bigger sets that haven't performed as well (and take up a ton of space!).
At last someone talking about architecture sets...i love them and have also been thinking about investing in them..thanks jim...you've set my mind racing
