I think the creative droid set has high potential due to the fact of it being a target exlcusive. The main selling point for me is the exclusive young leia minifig. Some of the 20th anniversary sets performed well after retirement soley due to the exclusive fig in each set. Ive managed to pick up four of the droid creations at $50 each so far.

The Leia if you can get it at a good price for people that want to complete their collection, and Chopper is a cool Droid.

Hate the Ghost as an investment. In general, I would stay far away from anything that is not from the first six movies.

UCS-size The NCC-1701 D (TNG) USS Enterprise with 1971 pieces, all prints and no stickers - already exists (Blue Brixx) - was sold for 200 €. UCS-size Bird of Prey with 1539 pieces, all prints and no stickers - already exists (Blue Brixx) - was sold for 100 €. UCS-size Borg Cube with 975 pieces, all prints and no stickers - already exists (Blue Brixx) - was sold for 50 €. Mid Size Deep Space Nine Station with 2889 pieces, all prints and no stickers - already exists (Blue Brixx) - was sold for 200 €. UCS-size All the UCS-size mentioned ships/stations and many more were also as Mid-size or Small-size versions available. The expectations for Lego are very high. Lego is known for sticker extravagances and for massively exaggerated prices. It won't help to simply make the sets produced by Blue Brixx a few bricks bigger in order to justify stickers and exaggerated prices; they will have to come up with significantly more in terms of quality, which means no color plague on the inside and greater stability in the colors of their bricks and if there are prints they need to be of a much better quality than those we have had in the past (little example: white print on a red piece - the result was pink, well done Lego). Or the Concorde, for example, with 8 (!) different shades of white in the bricks. What I miss is that you only talk about Mega-Bloks and Lego and don't even mention Blue Brixx, the last succesful holder of the license. That's disappointing. The only thing that Lego can score with are the minifigures. These have been around for over 40 years and are well known. Other manufacturers have to go through lengthy legal proceedings against Lego before they can release their own figures, as was the case with Blue Brixx. Unfortunately, the figures from Blue Brixx (BB) came onto the market late and could only be sold in very small quantities. And the BB-figure isn't really the best, but this has to do with the legal issue. This would have opened up more opportunities for BB than just selling ships. Another point that should be mentioned. Lego hasn't been interested in Star Trek for over 50 years, why now?

Bluebrixx had some problems selling the large "UCS" sets for years and therefore I'm not sure Lego is trying to grab a market that was already not working in Europe for Bluebrixx. And the license never was exclusive as the brand Playmobil offered large models and figures of the old Star Trek crew at the same time.

8:15 a DS9 interior set would be amazing. It'd consist of the promenade and Quark's Bar. It'd probably be too big to produce as an actual set though.

it was bluebrixx not mega that had the star trek license and their quality is better than lego

With the newer Sonic sets I just felt that the Ideas Sonic set was out way too long and must have hug inventory out there.

I found a different rumor online in the last couple days that said this set was the Enterprise-D and it would be a Black Friday 2025 set release. Maybe they're doing something else this summer also? It could be a fun year for Lego & Star Trek fans!

A UCS set of a Borg Cube with tons of tiny details would be pretty neat (although not aesthetically pleasing...) With modern construction techniques and colors, Cardassian Galor class would very easy to make too. As far as Enterprises go, I'd love a Refit Connie style one over the TNG one. Shuttles would be easy sets to make and sell with minifigs. And let's not forget Klingon and Romulan Bird of Preys and Warbirds. UCS Defiant and DS9 with a smaller Defiant as a playset as well as DS9 interior playsets. A Delta Flyer would be nice too, one of the Space line LEGO sets already kinda looks like it.

Why using older Star Trek series when you could also use new series as Strange New Worlds for Lego sets? Younger people are probably more familiar with Strange New World than with the series from 30 years ago.

The Defiant, as a playset at a scale that there's an interior for the minifigs, should be on the list and possibly before DS9 itself. Just my 2p.

Alright, listen up, slick. Your Star Trek list sucks. It lacks ingenuity, and functionality in Lego design methodology. Additionally, Deep Space Nine is the greatest Star Trek which contains some of the most bold stories, incredible arcs that span seasons, and most human component to storytelling. The villains of DS9 are real characters, not archetypes. So, pick up DS9, start at season 4 if you have to get past the silliness of the first couple seasons as they lived in TNG's shadow, and fix your list.

Finally. LEGO is faceplanting - They'll never match Bluebrixx Star Trek sets.
