Today we have something different from the usual.
It not a cafe racer bike, but definitely sounds like one.
A bike that was built to be the fastest of the fastest.
And Sebastian Lorentz, of the Lucky Cat Garage, really achieved it.
A BMW R100 totally transformed, not only focused on speed and acceleration, but also with a fast and frightening appearance to competitors.
The goal for this cocktail of BMW parts was really audacious. To win the 2013 Star Wars sprint race, at the Glemseck 101 festival, in Germany.
Has he achieved it?

You know this bike was a labor of love. The builder not only decided to paint two different colored arrows on the fairing. Light colored pointing forward and dark colored pointing aft, they are of increasing size as they flow aft. What a beautiful, energizing visual effect.

Such a bad-ass bike. I love that it has a racing story behind it. Stories like that are kinda rare on bikes this old these days.

I started watching every friday at 5 or 5:30 AM your videos, and as always only to be amazed as in this extreme, unusual and elegant machine. I don't know exactly why but I really liked this bike. Great video

I have seen the bike in person before. Its unbelievably loud! Awesome machine! It was also the first time ever I saw NOS-bottles on a classic bmw, quite a shock ;p

Absulutly my most favor bike!!! As an owner of an 1955 DKW RT 125 2H I even like it a lot more as I see it as the big brother and once I'm able to I really want to bring a similar awesome machine on the road.

This channel it's just getting bigger and better so quickly, i love it, i will love to share the videos but all my biker friends just speak spanish, it would be great if you can manage to add subtitles in spanish, thanks for your great work.

The bike looks great, really cool. Sounds good too. Commentary is perfect. And only today I had an actual conversation about one of those tyres (I really did, for a sidecar). But, it really doesn't look that fast... Even for a two valve BMW. If your winning you may need to seek out more worthy competitors. Jus' sayin' (as you might say). That said this is the first vid I have watched on your channel, perhaps there is more to it all than, performance... which to be fair, is usually the same for all of us. EH?

I wanted to suggest a solution to your non-native speaking of English: have you considered asking for help with the translations? I'm willing to bet that there are Portuguese fluent people with perfect English grammar that are more than happy to lend you a hand in translating. Other than that, the content is simply stunning. I hope you don't take offense in this as I suggest it purely out of good will.

75 % of Racer TV viewers, aren't english natives. And just like me, their english vocabulary is also limited. That's why they understand the main message in these videos.

I saw this bike on a french moto channel a year ago, the owner talk about specs in a quick interview, on this bike there is :
-A frame from a Bmw r50 serie 2
-The engine is a mix between a Bmw rs 1978 and a gs 1991
-Gear box is from a Bmw r100r 1992
-Battery is from a s1000rr 2015

What a bike.
Why was there spark plugs in the exhaust? A really amazing bike and just the sound was worth it! Reminds me a lot of Burt Monro's bike which he made the land speed record in!

I thought exactly the same things when i started to work in this video.About the spark plugs in the exhaust, i'm not sure. But maybe it will help burning some excessive fuel which was not consumed in the combustion chamber. Cheers.

duality: the tire still smokes, the chain and spokes broke, i SAT there ashamed in front of those folk. what I had not told them this bike was a joke. I tried to pull one over on all of those folk. I set up to race, in just the right place. a wet patch of land free of dust debris and sand. I let out the clutch the plates did not touch. the engine rang out, the put crew did shout. for what I had not told them. there's bottles would shout. yes I'm talking about nitrous. you bet your ass I pulled that card out.

É criada por software, através dos textos em inglês que eu escrevo. Eu sei que parece impossível, mas reconheço que é difícil de descobrir isso. Só mesmo as pessoas que falam inglês fluentemente é que conseguem descobrir que a voz não é natural. Um abraço.

+aldrin habibi Now i got it. To Be honest, i think cafe racer lines are always evolving. But there are 2 things that are almost essential. The Low handlebar, and the bump in the tail of the seat. Without these, a bike can be considered as a Brat, or Scrambler, or tracker, or Brat- bobber, or Bobber. Different styles, but which many Cafe Racer Enthusiasts also can appreciate.
