The most interesting thing about this video, is the fact that it saved this channel from non existence. After half year making many videos without having any considerable success, this is the video that changed everything for me. I remember having 4000 views per day just on this video, which was huge for me on those days. :) I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Dazzling, wonderfully refined, provocative... I think that 2013 selection marks a milestone even when compared to those that followed it. Incurable madness, supreme inspiration, polished metal jewelry.
Indeed. This was my first Top 10 video on this channel. The problem was, i didn't had enough material to make a Top 10, and so I used the Top 10 elected by Pipeburn website followers. That is why the style on these motorcycles, is very different from my usual taste. :) Cheers.
RACER TV as a c.g. voice it aint THAT bad, but at first i thought is was just a very tired man who really wasnt interested in the topic till i read it was robot voice lol
I had to replay the video at least 3 times as I wanted to see all the details of the beautiful bikes. Thanks for an excellent video as always and happy holidays to you my friend. Sincerely, El Solitario.
Congrats for your patience RACER not all the people knows what passion is I have 4 bikes but my soul shine riding my unconfortable custom made cafe racer

Beautiful.....very inspiring, i am not an engineer neither do i have any mechanical ability, to create such beauties is sheer talent, hats off to all the people who create such marvelous beauties...always been a lover of cafe racers...matter of fact getting one soon...and ya its Royal Enfield... :D
See some of my videos about tips to a cafe racer project. They can be very helpful to your project. Thanks for your comment, and good luck to your project.
Francisco Sorensen Muito obrigado Francisco pelas simpáticas palavras. Fico contente por o ter ajudado a gostar deste tipo de motos. Pode escrever em Português à vontade. Aproveito para lhe desejar um Bom Natal. Abraço.
I understand your point of view. But most of these bikes are works of art.I like to see them as Prototypes or Concept bikes. This video should be considered as a inspiration place to help people that are building a cafe racer bike. There are so many details that we can apply on normal cafe racer bikes or Bobbers. Thanks for your comment.
Incredible bikes and narration. I'd like to see a video of similar style bikes that I can actually buy. I like the retro look, but there are so few options.
Your idea to make a Video with "Buyable" cafe racer bikes, is actually very good. The problem, is that the cafe racer bikes that are on the market, are still expensive. The best option for most people, is to buy an old and small(or big) motorbike, and make the conversion yourself to a cafe racer bike. Thanks for your comment.
They're some works of art for sure, very nice bikes, trailer queens, but very nice. Personally I like a little bit rougher bike that's made to be ridden. The styling of these bikes is great, but you wouldn't want to ride them for fear of getting a ding.... -Retro Rocket Motorcycles

The name of the man of this voice is Peter. But I think that is not from Microsoft.I know that this voice is not perfect, and that's why I gave up of using it.Today my new videos have a much better voice. Thanks for your comment.
RACER TV Hi, thanks for commenting back. Well, this video is right up my street, I love these cafe racers. But, the voice was just so distracting it made it hard to watch. I'll check out your new vids, I know it takes a lot of work and the editing is first class mate!
Really liked the number 10, quite different and simple, but amazing to see, where I can see more photos of it, or in action videos? (Sorry, I'm from Brazil, and English isn't my mother language)
+Ronald Mattos Não há problema amigo, pode escrever em Português à vontade. Infelizmente não há muita informação sobre essa moto. Mas pode tentar este link: www.pipeburn.com/home/2013/11/09/77-honda-pa50iii.html Um abraço.
Just found this video, thanks I really liked it. I thought the voice was good too, something you don't find often. Don't let the naysayers get you down, there are rides for everyone, but this video is the art of the motorcycle. Beautiful concept and applications and there is nothing more fun then riding a smaller displacement bike flat out on skinny tyres.
I start loving cafe racer a few months, I really want to make one for myself, but I have not much idea abt motorbikes. Anyone knows the minimum requirement to make one cafe racer? And minumum cost to make it (I know its hard to say). Thanks :)
Well, i will try to answer you the best i can.If you don't know much about motorcycles, i presume that you know even less about mechanics. This means that you should pick a more modern bike, just to avoid the small problems with the engine. On the other hand, buying an old bike, could be a good opportunity to you learn more about mechanics. There are many forums and videos about this subject, and you can learn all you need on the web.To make a cafe racer conversion, you should choose a simple project. Something like change the color, all the lights and seat. Nothing too complicated.About costs, it will depend of the simplicity of your project. But usually you can spend something between 600 to 1200 euros.(excluding the purchase of the bike) But these values are very vulnerable.Check the prices of café racer parts on ebay. There are cheap and expensive parts. Chose the parts according to your budget, and you will know the cost of your project.I hope this will help you.Good luck.
RACER TV Thanks for ur reply. Its really helpful, and thats true that Im know less abt mechanics. I think starting with the simple steps will be much helpful in the future project. Thanks :)
Geoff Cooper Well, i understand your question. But try to see these bikes as prototypes. As an inspiration font, where we can choose many ideas and solutions for our personal cafe racer project. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
I found the robo voice strange in the start of the vid. Now i love it, There is a similarity to Bela Lugosi that suits those overearth like bikes just perfect.
At first, this voice was the best that could find. It has a strong personality. But unfortunately,it has also many imperfections in a some words.I had to change to a new voice. It is more friendly and clearer, but it lost some caracter. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
#4 should clearly be the winner here followed by Hazan's bike. No wonder it won the AMD Champ.....nothing on that bike is off the shelf, same for Hazan's.
+Eric Mura Agreed, I thought so too. The level of craftsmanship far exceeds most bikes on the list, especially number one. The winner had a great concept, but from the looks of them, it seems to be poorly executed.
***** Sorry about the voice. That's why i stopped using this voice. Try to see my most recent videos, and you will see a much friendly "robotic voice".Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
Charlie M Sorry about his voice. This was the first version which i used in my first videos. But if you check my recent videos, you will notice a much better and pleasant voice. Cheers.
No, but I liked your logic about the name.Cafe racer was the name given to english bikers in the 50's and 60's, because they use to make races between cafes.
Maggie Coleman that's not strictly true I think you got that from a documentary about cafe racers and the guy got ripped for saying it. Because it's not true
" Cafe " bikes got their name from the practice of riding along the coast of Italy stopping at cafe's along the way . Freinds would often race from cafe to cafe hence the name .Since these cafe's were rarely more than fifty miles apart the hunched position was adopted to lower wind resistance and reduce buffeting - also being closer to the pavement and more forward on the bike creates an impression of greater speed .
Lol. I understand that this voice has a strong character behind it, which is very good considering that is created by a "Text to Speech" Software. But it has also many problems in pronouncing some words, and that's why today I use other voice. Thanks for your comment.
Thank you my friend for your kind comment. For me, this is one of the most important videos in this channel, because i was almost giving up of the Channel when i published it. It was my first video with a huge success. :) Cheers.
Serious art and craftsmanship. Very impressed. I am guessing these builders are doing it for the love of the process and not to mass produce or even make a practical bike. Didn't they called the first bikes with steel wheels bone shakers? I read a veterinarian named Dunlop invented the pneumatic tire? We have come a long way as people continue to think and create. The evolution of an idea....Thanks for the video. PS I vote for the BMW #2 but Im thrilled a RE made it to the top. I like an underdog!
We find the voice pretty cool. First we thought it's some psychopath narrating, but then we sensed a computer generated source, which went really well. Also well written content to some well picked photographs. Hang in there, we'll subscribe.
Ah~ so this is one of the earliest video with the AI narrations❤. I hope you didn't mind I'm taking some of these designs from your videos for my projects. I'll be tagging you & the builders credits if I ever have my own channel in the future. Love from Malaysia
Claude Fortin I understand your comment, but i don't hate fenders. The selection of these top 10 bikes was made through the page of Pipeburn Motorcycles on Facebook. My own cafe racer (Honda CB 125 B6) have the 2 fenders, but i admit they are not so important, because i only ride it with good weather. Cheers.
To ME, personally - it comes down to the Enfield, the Guzzi Falcone, and the PA-50 with the belt-drive and what looks like plastic BMX wheels (Am I right? or are they actual mags from another bike?) The rest of these bikes aren't all that original in their execution - most of them we've seen this bag of tricks before. Not their fault of course, when their ideas have been copied by everybody else. But yeah, I pick those three as the best because they best embody the axiom "form follows function", they're not about fashion they seem like they'd be valid racing competitors in their original period. The enfield has that killer front end, as does the Guzzi - and the PA-50 is incredible from head to toe - I've seen a few PA-50's done, and some type of Yamaha shaft-drive 50 ... maybe I'm thinking of another PA-50.... But yeah, a lot of what I like most these days is in the light-weight category. I hope my own current projects will get this same level of recognition some day. If only because I can relate to the level of obsession that it must take to pull off bikes like that. I sincerely doubt that I've got the skill, but I can speak to the obsessive element ha-ha. I'm doing a KZ440LTD wire-wheel project for my kid, and a DOHC CB750F for me - probably the craziest part of these two builds is that I lost 'em both, "close" to completion, to a house-fire last March. Among the parts for the KZ I lost a GT550J 4LS drum, NOS Borrani 3x16 and Super-Akront 3.5x16, and NOS belt-drive bits. Though there were lots of rare & valuable parts, most of what I lost was down to hours spent polishing and modifying parts during the years when I didn't have a nickel to throw at the project. Some of those mods I literally worked with a NAIL FILE in taking weight off of stuff. Such as DIY clip-ons using bar clamps cut from a spare CB750F top triple plus the rubber-mounted bar clamps from the KZ440, plus aux "lattice" rearsets for the Honda that used the pivot portion from that sacrificed top yoke as a new relocated pivot point for the brake pedal. That part was the most complicated shape you could imagine ha-ha. I've now switched to the peg brackets from the Euro version of DOHC CB750K, the pedal pivot is the most rear-ward location of any peg bracket type, similar to the RAASK version. I've shaved a lot of mass off of them too. Then again, I've also got some steel triangular passenger peg mounts cut from a SOHC hard-tail chopper project, I found it on a forum and asked for the left-over bits. I'd love to stick 'em on my DOHC café simply because so many SOHC builders cut 'em off. This way I can get rid of the DOHC Aluminum brackets entirely. Though if I could make something resembling the adjustable rear-sets from the CB72/CB77 Hawk/SuperHawk I'd like that even more. Truth be told, I've got enough duplicate parts and different ideas I intend to carry out, that I'll probably wind up building at least 2 or 3 DOHC Hondas. I guess that's just how bad the obsession gets when you're beset by so many obstacles in carrying out your build! Originally, I started tearing down my perfect CB750F in order to keep from going crazy when health problems prevented me from working. Even beyond the bikes not being finished, the one way it's been a failure has been that original goal of not going bonkers. Should've took up knitting instead. Ha-ha.
I understand your point. But i like to see these bikes as Cafe Racer prototypes. They can help us with inspiration and new ideas for our cafe racer projects. But thanks for sharing your comment.
I already thought on making a video of the Hyde Harrier which is a beautiful bike. But after a looking better, I felt that it is lacking something in the design of the bike. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
+Keewee Yes it is. I use this "robotic" voice, because i'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that i like for my videos. I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos, but things didn't worked as i expected. Believe it or not, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non english natives. If you check some of my latest videos, you will find a much better and friendly voice. Cheers.
Love to see the artistry & engineering that goes into these builds that RacerTV showcases. But you got to do something with the computer generated narration; it’s unsettling and creepy. That’s the only reason I don’t subscribe. I come to get a look at the bikes while I mute the narration.
Hi. I understand what you say about this voice. That is why I changed to a much more friendly voice. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds realy very good for to non-English natives. :) Cheers.
+Jirka Vomy Unfortunately, it's very difficult discovering that. This kind of situations happens many times with many others statements This is one of the problems aboutinternet. We never know if things are truth. But thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. But after some videos, a changed this voice to a much better one. yeh this voice makes all the jokes and whitty remains lost, I think you should have asked Steven Hawkins, if you could use his voice lol ;)

what if i told you the bike he used to turn as cafe racer on top is nothing but the royal enfield bullet...great video
+Swapnil Parab the engine ONLY
I think anybody who makes a bike their own, are cool.
Brilliant you tube site
Lowrey Contractors What a great comment. Thanks for your kind words. Cheers.
If I could start my life over this I would what I would aspire to do with it.

Hello:)
Brutal cafe from Poland :
BMW K1100 cafe racer
Przemek Papis Lovely project and sound. Is the fuel Tank original? It seems to be original but cuted on the bottom. Am i right?
Thanks :) So accurately
We find the voice pretty cool. First we thought it's some psychopath narrating, but then we sensed a computer generated source, which went really well. Also well written content to some well picked photographs.
Hang in there, we'll subscribe.
i like old bikes the most....got style!
If I had any of these as a gift, I would sell it. Still, it would be boring if we all liked the same thing.
Ah~ so this is one of the earliest video with the AI narrations❤. I hope you didn't mind I'm taking some of these designs from your videos for my projects. I'll be tagging you & the builders credits if I ever have my own channel in the future. Love from Malaysia
My question is :"Why do you hate fender , front and rear ? don't you have dirt and rain in your area ?
Ha-ha.
Thank You for sharing your story. I wish you the best luck to your health and your cafe racer projects.
I don't think there was a street legal one among them ,lights turn signals ect.
what good is a bike you can't ride?
I understand your point. But i like to see these bikes as Cafe Racer prototypes. They can help us with inspiration and new ideas for our cafe racer projects. But thanks for sharing your comment.
Impresionantes..
Sonel Ramir Me alegro de que te guste. Gracias.
Muchas gracias y me llamo Nelson Ramirez un saludo
I'm a rider and these aren't riding motorcycles. OK if you want to look cool to non motorcyclists.
+phlodel Like all other fads, it is fast approaching ridiculousness, only to soon after be rejected as "dated" looking.
+jench78 That's kind of my point. These bikes are about style - making appearances, not riding competence.
wow! C'est de l'art pur.
I love the Hyde Harrier awesome looking bike
I already thought on making a video of the Hyde Harrier which is a beautiful bike. But after a looking better, I felt that it is lacking something in the design of the bike. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Hi, where are you from?
Jlo Jrock Hi, I'm from Portugal.
cool, my brother inlaw is from portugal! (Gomez) bom trabalho em seu canal youtbe!!!!!!!!
Jlo Jrock
I'm glad to hear that. Very nice of you writing in portuguese. Thanks . Cheers.
Is that voice computer generated? :/
Cheers.
+RACER TV thanks for the reply and the explanation, it makes sense now :)
But do any of them actually run?
No, they don't run. They still need a driver to be able to run these bikes. Lol.
Leading axle forks, drum brakes, spindly forks... real race bikes here!
:) Cheers.
nice bikes. give me moodbooster to finish my bike lol
Yudha Pratama Lol. Thank you for sharing your comment. Cheers.
The No4 Moto Guzzi looks a bit 'steampunk' in its styling cues..
The Guzzi knocks all the others (except maybe the Enfield) into a cocked hat.
Challenge? Nope. Normal people deal with challenges.
Engineer masterminds deal with Cha-Langes. Big difference.
Be gone, peasants.
Ultra80s Lol.
You win no further comments necessary.
They're all beautifully executed customs but there's not one real cafe racer among them.
fell in love with the Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone by Medaza cycles...Hands down parise guys...
this said Cobain, not Marley
+Jirka Vomy Unfortunately, it's very difficult discovering that. This kind of situations happens many times with many others statements
This is one of the problems aboutinternet. We never know if things are truth. But thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
The voice makes the video in watchable
Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. But after some videos, a changed this voice to a much better one.
:) Cheers
