We also saw at the beginning some things that make me wonder. The blue demon that fell from the sky, face-planted, then got run over by Angel's client seemed to die, but then again, we didn't see him after, so it's hard to tell. Alastor was able to defeat other older, more established powers when he rose to power, but that sort of makes a few questions about what happened to them. It's hard to tell specifics there, as Alastor was, apparently, going after those who weren't mortal (aka: true-demons? devils? not sure about the nomenclature between sinners and creatures like Charlie's parents... or Charlie for that matter). How that's going to happen is a little up in the air at the moment, they are waiting to see if they can get a network or streaming service interested before they commit to doing another episode all on their lonesome again-this episode took about 4 years. Netflix is their best bet I would think, since their whole strategy is to get as much original content as possible.

I don't think any of them are actually going to heaven. Just a theory, but I see heaven as the true enemy here. If you think about it, there's people in hell who are not necessarily bad persons, like "boozers and prescription drug abusers" for example, so I'm guessing heaven decides who goes to hell, and the reason for the overpopulation could be the fact that angels see themselves as pure and superior, so any little mistake someone does is enough reason for going to hell. Really hope there are some weird plot twists in future episodes if there's ever more of this.

Then we don't know what happened but it's speculated while he was running a hunter confused him for deer and shot him or was killed by hunting dogs. there's a bunch of mystery around him like why he became so powerful and some bits and pieces about his past that no one is sure of. all we know is that he was a serial killer and a cannibal who use the radio, from there everything else is pure (speculation). like the reason why he has antlers some people think is because he became a wendigo which is why he is so powerful since he was a cannibal and was raised by a cult and became a supernatural monster in his lifetime so when he died he was already much more powerful than any human soul but again that's only (speculation) we have no real idea just about everything about him other than a few key things are a complete mystery and even more amplified in the show because we have no idea what he's planning

I grew up in New Orleans myself and know for fact voodoo magic is powerful stuff if you believe the legends,they say a little witch doctor could do anything from read the future to bring the dead back to life. At the start it was the Angels who kill the demons because only angel weapons can kill the demons according to the creator I had the same theory that any other death they either regenerate or respawn since it's fitting because it's believed those who are being tortured in hell constantly regenerate so they'll constantly be tortured without running out of body parts to tear off
The only way demons can die in this universe is at the hand of an Angel or an Angel weapon, the purge are executed by angels, otherwise they eventually heal

What we have that is canon so far to answer your question about the deaths is that: The only way to permanently die in hell is to be struck down by an angel's specialized weapon. When killed by that weapon the angels bring you're soul is scattered into the blackness and you cease to exist. Nothing comes after. The angels come down once a year (As seen on the clock tower) for an extermination where angels kill demons in mass for population control. If a Demon kills another demon they just come back. The Eggboi's that serve Sir Pent do not follow this because they are created in hell by Sir Pent. (That part isnt confirmed but is my theory).
Just letting you know, they're creating another show as well called "Helluva Boss" with a different tone, trailer is already out, Brandon Rogers and the voice actor for Zim in Invader Zim stars in it as main characters.

He also knows about satan and vice versa and they have a mutual respect for each other

What we have that is canon so far to answer your question about the deaths is that: The only way to permanently die in hell is to be struck down by an angel's specialized weapon. When killed by that weapon the angels bring you're soul is scattered into the blackness and you cease to exist. Nothing comes after.
The angels come down once a year (As seen on the clock tower) for an extermination where angels kill demons in mass for population control.
If a Demon kills another demon they just come back. The Eggboi's that serve Sir Pent do not follow this because they are created in hell by Sir Pent. (That part isnt confirmed but is my theory).
