I use it all the time. I have one "conversation" decoted to my non profit. That way, every question I ask gives gpt all the previous information as a resource. So, even things that I have written for the non profit and used gpt to rephrase and rewrite, gives it insight into the non profit. It can now write using my writing style.
ChatGPT is helpful in submitting grant applications on websites that have particular character limits. It will edit the writing so that it meets the specified character count - a huge timesaver!
I just learned about chatgpt from you. I won't be ready until next year. I am in Daytona Beach Florida I will be moving to Nashville tn in May. I will be moving South Eastern Kentucky next year. That's where I want to start my nonprofit. My question is, do I have to wait until I move to Kentucky or can I start sooner over state lines?
Hi Amber, Perfect timing, I was just starting to experiment with chat gpt. I asked: "blog post about why children's museums are critical for child development" What I got was a nice high school type essay that would need to be edited. Clearly it can give out something good but just as we've learned over the years that you have to ask a search engine in certain ways to get the results we want, now we have to learn how to talk to AI to get what we need. It's a whole new learning curve. How about offering your subscribers a good list of questions we can use and plug in our organizations name? 😋 Now here's my question of the day: We have the name of our organization "Children's Museum of the Galilee" but we also have the name of our US non-profit for fundraising "Friends of Children's Museum of the Galilee". (I'm wondering how confusing that might be to AI.) So my question is, do you think we should have another whole website that's "Friends of" that's just devoted to fundraising? What do you think? As always, thank you SOOOOO much. xo
Yes, definitely - it's far from perfect and still needs human eyes, but it's a decent first step! Also as you pointed out, what you input makes all the difference! As for having a separate website, not necessarily - I've seen plenty of museums do that - but a clear delineation on your copy and naming of pages could help.
How are you getting ChatGPT to look at websites for you? When I put it a specific site for it to look at like you said it tells me it’s unable to browse the Internet or look at specific website.
Now everybody and their grandma's uncle can use chat gpt to come up with emotionally compelling content. Do you already have an interactive bot running on your site already? What sort of prompts would you find most useful for non profit organization owners like yourself?I subscribed and joined your newsletter.I'm a novice prompt engineer.I dabble in chat gpt prompts.I've always wanted to start a non profit.I just never thought about hovel or when.
Hey there! I don't have an interactive bot yet, but am intrigued by the idea. I think the prompts depend on your organization's mission and what the community is most likely to ask about it.
Hello and good afternoon. I hope you are well. We are currently trying to get funding for our next project where we will be providing counselling/ psychotherapy sessions for people on benefits and low incomes. We are based in, England, UK.
Essentially Bing AI is GPT 4 linked to a search engine. For myself it has personally helped with letters, marketing, and research. The only downside to AI you always need to double check it. It typically either gets things really right or really wrong.
Now that I've used the new Bing AI I'm not that impressed at what it can do as a work tool. It is great at sorting through mounds of data on a website, but that seems to be it's main skill. Positive news though I hear GPT 4 will allow web integration. We will see.

I am a new Marketing Director for an Nonprofit Arts Center and here is an informative prompt I used in ChatGPT. Create 5 donor personas for _________ Arts, in ________ New Jersey. __________ Arts is home to a center for fine, performing and practical arts offering art classes, workshops, art exhibits, as well as annual programming which includes concerts, theater performances, classes, art exhibitions, and special events. The average donors are currently white women, 65 years old and over. After creating the 5 donor personas, please give me 5 email headlines for each persona created that would encourage and or increase donations to the arts center. The results were great!

I am loving chat gpt!!!
Awesome! How are you using it?

I think it's based on the age of the site, to be fair. I don't know that it could look at a very new one.

I'd love to hear more about your experience using Bing AI in relation to helping with a non-profit.
