This isn't levolution, it's just destruction. Levolution would be like BF4 Flood Zone where you can flood the map, or Siege of Shanghai where the tower collapses drastically changing how the rest of the match it played. That being said, nice comparison video though. BFV's destruction feels better and imo.
There is barely any destruction in 2042. I remember people complaining about this in BF3 and 2042 is much, much worse in this regard

@@manavbhalla2861 2042 has A LOT of destruction and levolution. You guys just can't notice it. Levolution isn't MASSIVE EVENTS only. Like a collapsing tower. Levolution is anything that changes gameplay even at the smallest bit. This can include craters in the ground from explosions, broken walls in buildings, shrapnel, and more. Plus every map has a levolution and event and a ton of destructable content.
@@Galoxy I have played every Battlefield since BF3 and the previous ones (except Hardline) had much more noticeable destruction, and by that I mean destruction that actually impacted gameplay. BF2042 just lacks that to a great extent. Suddenly, tanks don’t feel like tanks, whereas in BF1, you could ram the tank into and through any building or structure. No cover was certain. That’s the kind of destruction that’s worthwhile.

It both look and sound much better in BFV, it's got a heavier sound to it and you can almost feel it ;)
I didn't look better at all. Graphically. The shockwave was better and the sound I guess. Visually it didn't look better
The fireball looks better in 2042, but the smoke effect in V is better.

@@Goldrunner1169 not at all in fact! :D Fuel fires (of which these are modeled after) are more than just an orange flash with smoke! Again if you’d pay attention to ACTUAL explosions you’d see that 2042 actually details explosions closer to how they are in real life! Damn bro the more you know! 😃
BFV is the clear winner.
The explosion in V lights up the surrounding environment and smoke. If you watch it on 0.25x speed, you can see the spherical shockwave distort the air as it ripples outward and toward you, then you hear the explosion. What an impressive detail.
The 2042 explosion looks like someone got one of those free explosion templates and slapped it on a video and used cardboard/Styrofoam as debris, then tried to just cover it up using lots of smoke effects. The puff of gas reaches you before the sound does, which doesn't make any sense.
I felt BFV's explosion in my balls. That's how you know its good.
I think that the actual visual effects on explosions, smoke and bullet impacts etc are all phenomanal in battlefield 2042, but somehow battlefield V still just managed to make that all seem more... Chaotic.
Prefer the BF2042 explosion but hate that the sun just keeps beaming through the black smoke. BFV is still prettier ... the way the shadows are cast on the ground from sun behind the black smoke is just beautiful.
i dont think people know what levolution is. both these exemples dont change the map dynamics in anything
Bf5 is better, I find that the fire in bf2042 looks low resolution even at 4K max settings.

the day battlefield players play interested in the game and not in camp, that day anything related to another battlefield other than 4 will seem interesting to me.
This is map destruction, not levolution, it doesn't change anything for the rest of the map
As much as ppl hated on bf5 even tho it didnt had levelution to proper say the sence of scale was insane sometime it was outer chaos from the artillery strike, the mini nuke that had a shock wave that would send you flying and in my opinion the only bf game where lmg are truly terryfing but being balanced at the same time

People are so funny I've watched countless videos like this where they compare destruction or levolution and tbh it all looks exactly the same and I remember when battlefield 5 was out everyone was saying how much battlefield 1 was better cause of the destruction and levolution like yall make up yalls minds, everyone was talking maaad shit about battlefield 5 now that 2042 is out everyone is saying how much they miss 5 cause it "looked better" like the shit looks almost exactly the same, I swear society baffles me sometimes

Bf2042 has a lower resolution or texture on smoke it's blurry

Bf2042 is better
BFV’s remote controlled mini nuke is the most devastating explosion I’ve ever seen. You literally feel it. Plus the whirling propeller sound it makes before it strikes down right chilling
Props to 2042’s scale, shockwaves, and cinematic like blasts though. That rocket explosion is like a movie scene

Little fun fact, they are above properly made. In much cooler regions the explosion is more reddish and smoky and in the hotter region, the fireball is less compact and the heat spread the explosion heat very fast.. so both realistic :)
